Managing your day at Disneyland Paris: lines, the app, and services
Once you’re through the gates, the real logistics challenge begins. I’ve been coming to Disneyland Paris since 1997, and over the years I’ve learned to make every minute count on the ground. Here I’ve gathered my answers to the questions you ask most, so your day doesn’t get away from you. Using the official app strategically, how the line-skipping options work, tips for charging your phone or finding first aid: these are my practical Disneyland Paris tips for staying in control of your time in both parks.
01 When is the best time to visit Disneyland Paris?
The quietest months are January, March, and September. If crowds bother you, steer clear of July-August, Toussaint (the French fall school break, during Halloween season), the Christmas break, and weekends in May. During the week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday remain the best days, and Saturday is the busiest. On the flip side, the Halloween and Christmas seasons bring extra decorations and shows, at the cost of bigger crowds.
02 How many days do you need for Disneyland Paris?
If you’re selective, a single day covers the main highlights of one park. Two days is the sweet spot for seeing Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World without rushing, spending one day in each. Add more days and things slow down, leaving time to ride your favorites again. For families with kids on their first visit, I suggest 2 nights / 3 days.
03 How far in advance should you book your trip or tickets?
Book as soon as you can. Prices at Disneyland Paris are dynamic, so booking earlier means paying less. Dated tickets are best bought at least 3 months out, and a Disney hotel 6 to 9 months out for peak dates (French school vacations, French long weekends in May, Halloween, Christmas). Bookings often open even earlier than that, so once your dates are locked in, go ahead. Table-service restaurants can be reserved through the official app up to 2 months before if you’re a day visitor, and up to 1 year before if you’re a Disney hotel guest.
04 When should I get to Disneyland Paris to skip the wait at the entrance?
At least 30 minutes before official opening, ideally 45 minutes during busy periods. By the time you’re through the security check and then the turnstiles, you’ll be in place at the park gates right at opening. The first 90 minutes of the day are the most valuable: that’s when you can do 3 or 4 major rides in a row without much of a line.
05 How many rides can you fit into a single day at Disneyland Paris?
On a quiet day with good planning, plan on 10 to 15 rides over a full day. On a busy day, more like 6 to 8. The levers that make a real difference: arriving 30 minutes before opening, eating at off-peak times (lunch at 11:30 or 14:00), making the most of the last hour before closing (lines thin out), and using Premier Access strategically on 2 or 3 high-demand rides.
06 Is Premier Access worth it for a first visit?
It depends on the day. Premier Access costs extra on top of your ticket, from €5 per ride and per use, and the price climbs on busy days. On crowded days (French school vacations, weekends, Halloween and Christmas seasons) and on the big rides where the wait often tops an hour, it’s worth it for one or two high-demand rides. On a quiet day, you don’t need it: if you arrive at opening and follow a logical touring order, you’ll wait very little without paying anything. You buy it in the official app, on the day itself for the One. The Ultimate can also be bought ahead of time. All the details are in my Premier Access guide.
07 Is the official Disneyland Paris app essential?
Yes, I consider it a basic tool these days. It shows wait times in real time, show and parade times, and lets you book table-service restaurants, manage your tickets, and buy Premier Access. Be sure to download it and sign in to your Disney account before you arrive, since the network can get overloaded on some days.
08 What is ticket registration, and is it required?
Yes, you have to do it. Registration links each ticket to a Disney account ahead of your visit, so you can use the official app for things like wait times, Premier Access, and dining reservations. Buy a dated ticket or a package with a Disney hotel, and your date gets registered for you. If not, handle it in your Disney account online or through the official app. My advice: get it done as soon as possible rather than the night before, because if the park sells out you may not be able to reserve.
09 Disney hotel or partner hotel: which one should you pick?
It all depends on your budget and your game plan. Disney hotel: you get Extra Magic Time (entry to the parks up to 1 hour before official opening, on a selection of headline rides), delivery of your purchases to the hotel, the official shuttle service, and a themed atmosphere. Partner hotel (Explorers, Adagio, B&B, and others): prices are often lower, a free shuttle is usually offered but it isn’t an official Disney one, and breakfast isn’t always included in the rate (check when you book). For a first trip, I’d lean toward a Disney hotel. To make the most of your budget, go with a partner hotel.
10 Is Extra Magic Time really worth the extra cost of a Disney hotel?
Yes, as long as you actually take advantage of it. This access up to 1 hour before official opening lets you do 3 to 5 major rides in a row with no line, which changes the whole rhythm of the day. The perk is reserved for guests of official Disney hotels and Gold annual passholders. If you plan to sleep in or enjoy the hotel in the morning, the perk falls flat. Indicative list of open rides: Peter Pan’s Flight, Big Thunder Mountain, Crush’s Coaster, Ratatouille (varies by period). Check which rides are included the day before.
11 Adults traveling with friends: is Disneyland Paris worth it?
Yes, Disneyland Paris is worth it for a group of adult friends. You can focus on the thrill rides, and the most intense ones are mostly at Disney Adventure World. On several of them, the free Single Rider line often saves time: you wait together, then each of you takes a seat that was left empty. In the evening, each park wraps up the day with its nighttime show, and then Disney Village, which stays open after the parks close, keeps the night going. With several of you, you can split the room and the parking, which lowers the bill per person. I recommend choosing together, before you leave, the rides everyone likes and setting a shared food budget, so you don’t scatter. For a bachelorette or bachelor party, I have a dedicated guide. I also have one for visiting as a couple, solo, or with seniors.
12 Is Disneyland Paris suitable for very young children?
Yes. Admission is free for kids under 3 (no ticket needed). Many rides are suitable from a very young age, especially in Fantasyland ("it’s a small world," Le Carrousel de Lancelot, Peter Pan’s Flight). Rider Switch (formerly Baby Switch) lets parents take turns on rides with a height requirement without waiting in line again. Baby Care Centers (changing, nursing, bottle warmers) are available in each park.
13 How does Rider Switch work at Disneyland Paris?
Rider Switch (formerly Baby Switch) lets two adults take turns on a ride with a height requirement (or one that isn’t recommended for someone) without waiting in line twice. Explain your situation to the Cast Member at the ride entrance. One adult rides while the other waits with the child. When the first one comes back, the adult who waited outside goes straight through the priority line or the Premier Access line, depending on the instructions given. The service is free and works on most rides with a height requirement in both parks.
14 Where are the Baby Care Centers, and what do they offer?
Each park has a Baby Care Center. In Disneyland Park, it’s at the end of Main Street U.S.A., on the Plaza Gardens side. At Disney Adventure World, it’s near the park entrance, in the Lumière Brothers plaza area. Inside you’ll find changing tables, a quiet nursing area, bottle warmers and microwaves, baby food and diapers for emergencies (paid), and adapted restrooms. Access is free and open during park hours.
15 If I can’t ride with them, are my kids allowed on a ride by themselves?
It depends on their age, and here’s an important detail: the rule is about being alone in the ride vehicle, not alone in the park (a child never wanders the parks alone). Kids under 7 must be accompanied on the ride by an adult aged 15 or older. From age 7, they can ride alone if they meet the height requirements. Parents who don’t ride wait at the exit, so set a clear meeting point (Cast Members don’t bring kids back if you get separated).
16 What should you do at Disneyland Paris if it rains?
A rainy day at Disneyland Paris can still be a good one if you adjust your plan. Here’s what I do: pack a rain poncho (it beats an umbrella in lines), lean toward indoor rides (Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ratatouille, Crush’s Coaster, Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure, "it’s a small world"), duck under the Main Street U.S.A. arcades or into the stores, and catch indoor shows such as Mickey and the Magician at Disney Adventure World (if it’s on the program, check the day’s show schedule). Crowds are often thinner on rainy days, which works in your favor.
17 How do you get between Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World?
Only a short walk separates the two parks. Crossing the central plaza (Fantasia Garden) takes 5 minutes on foot. To get into both on a single day, you’ll need a 2-park ticket. A 1-park ticket keeps you in whichever park scans your ticket first. There’s no shuttle to take between them, which is a big plus of Disneyland Paris.
18 Does it rain a lot at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, rain is part of the Paris region’s climate: the park sees a lot of rainy days over the year, as the month-by-month table above shows. Most of the time it comes as showers, and the park is designed with plenty of covered walkways so you can keep going while staying dry.
19 Is bad weather a reason to cancel your trip?
In the vast majority of cases, no. The park is set up to run in rain, cold, snow, or high heat, and your visit stays enjoyable with good preparation. Cancellation terms depend mainly on your type of ticket or vacation package, not on the weather.
20 Is there a picnic area at Disneyland Paris?
Yes. A free picnic area with plenty of tables and benches is located outside the parks, near the visitor parking lot (shaded). To get there from the park, you exit with your ticket. Watch out: any trip outside the Parks / Disney Village area means going through the security check again when you come back, so allow enough time. Inside the parks, there’s no dedicated picnic area, but you can sit on the available benches and low walls (restaurant tables are reserved for customers who ordered there).
21 Is it possible to exit the park and get back in on the same day?
Yes, with the same ticket. Hold on to your ticket (paper or in the app) to scan when you come back. It’s handy for lunch at Disney Village (often cheaper and less crowded than in the parks), a nap at the hotel, or grabbing something from the car. You go through the security check again every time you enter.
22 Where are the quiet places to sit down and take a break in the parks?
My favorite spots: the covered arcades on Main Street U.S.A. (Liberty Arcade and Discovery Arcade), much calmer than the main street and with a few benches. At Disney Adventure World, the central studio lobby (World Premiere Plaza) has some sheltered seating, and otherwise I love the area around the lake. As for the hotels you can reach from the plaza, the big lobbies of Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel and Disney Sequoia Lodge are perfect for a real, quiet break.
23 What is the Single Rider line at Disneyland Paris?
The Single Rider line is a dedicated line for guests who agree to ride alone. The goal: fill the empty seats left by groups with an odd number of people. In exchange, you wait much less. It’s free and open to everyone, as long as you meet the ride’s height and safety requirements.
24 Does the Single Rider line keep your group together?
No, that’s the whole point. You wait together in line, but when it’s time to board, you’re split up individually into the empty seats. So you won’t ride side by side. If that matters to you (a scared child, a first ride), take the standby line.
25 Is a Disney hotel pool open to guests of other Disney hotels?
No. Each pool is strictly for that hotel’s own guests, with entry checked by wristband or room key. That said, anyone staying at an official Disney hotel can walk into the lobbies, restaurants, and bars of the other official Disney hotels, a nice way to soak up the vibe at Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel or Sequoia Lodge without booking a room there.
26 What is Disney Village, and how do you get there?
Disney Village is the free-entry entertainment district located between the two parks (Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World) and the Disney hotels. You’ll find restaurants, bars, stores, and a movie theater. It’s right next to the station (RER A, the Paris commuter train, and the TGV high-speed train) and the park entrance.
27 What are Disney Village’s hours?
At Disney Village, the first places open as early as 8:00 (breakfast), and most open around 9:00-10:00. Each business has its own hours. Closing times are staggered late into the evening, usually between midnight and 1:00 in the morning. So the hours are longer than the parks’, which makes it a great option for the end of the day. I recommend checking the hours for your visit date on the official Disneyland Paris website.
28 What can you do at Disney Village?
Disney Village brings several kinds of entertainment together in one place: restaurants for every budget, bars, an arcade, a movie theater, the PanoraMagique tethered balloon, and a whole shopping area full of souvenirs for all ages. It’s a convenient spot to stretch out the day at a relaxed pace after the parks.
29 Is there a dress code at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, a few rules apply to what you wear. Costumes and masks are not allowed for guests aged 12 and over, except for medical reasons, so younger kids can come dressed up. Any outfit or mask that fully covers the face is banned for safety reasons. Other than that, wear whatever you like. My advice: above all, choose comfortable shoes, because you’ll be doing a lot of walking.
30 Can you smoke in the Disney parks?
Smoking isn’t permitted in the parks themselves, though outdoor spots are set aside for smokers. You’ll find these designated areas on the park map in the Disneyland Paris app. Anywhere else, lighting up is off-limits, e-cigarettes included. To locate the closest one, ask at the entrance or look in the app.
31 Are selfie sticks allowed at Disneyland Paris?
No, selfie sticks aren’t permitted in the Disneyland Paris parks. The ban, which has been around for several years, applies to telescoping sticks used with phones and cameras. It exists to keep guests safe and undisturbed, on rides in particular. Taking regular photos with your phone or camera is of course fine.
32 What are the security measures at the park entrances?
For security reasons, Disneyland Paris may check your clothing and personal belongings at the park entrance, either by eye or using dedicated screening equipment. So allow a little time to get through this check, especially at peak times. My tip: keep what’s in your bag to a minimum and show up early so you can walk in stress-free. The exact procedures are spelled out in the park rules on the official Disneyland Paris website.
33 Where can I find the park hours for each day?
Park hours change from day to day and with the time of year, so you should always check them for your exact date. The official calendar on the Disneyland Paris website is updated daily and shows when each park opens and closes. You’ll also find this information in the Disneyland Paris mobile app and on my blog. My tip: look the hours up again a few days before your visit, since they can change.
34 What should I do if my child gets lost in a Disney park?
Let the closest Cast Member (park employee) know immediately: they’re trained for exactly this, and they’ll start looking for your child. Every park has a Lost Children meeting point, where a Cast Member stays with your child until you arrive. My tip before you go: pick a place to meet up with your child ahead of time, and write a phone number somewhere on them.
35 Which park should you pick for a first visit with just one day?
For a first visit with just one day, I recommend Disneyland Park. With a 1-day 1-park ticket, it gives you the most: the castle, the parade, and the big rides for all ages, in the original world Walt Disney dreamed up.
36 Which park works best with young kids?
Go with Disneyland Park. You’ll find more rides made with little ones in mind, particularly in Fantasyland, and the overall feel suits them perfectly.
37 Is Disneyland Paris open all year long?
Yes, Disneyland Paris is open 365 days a year. The parks welcome guests on French public holidays too. Keep in mind, though, that park hours change every day, so feel free to check them in the Disneyland Paris app or on my blog.
38 When do the rides open at Disneyland Paris?
Nearly all the rides start running when the park opens its gates to the public. During Extra Magic Time, you’ll only have access to a selection of them.
39 When do the rides close at Disneyland Paris?
Rides close right at park closing time. At that point, the entrance to the line shuts, but the ride keeps running until the last guest has gone through. So if you’re already in line before closing, you’re guaranteed to get on the ride, even after a long wait.
40 Can you check Disneyland Paris crowd levels in advance?
Yes, on my blog I offer a crowd calendar that estimates how busy Disneyland Paris will be. It’s based on attendance in past years, so actual crowds can differ, especially since dynamic pricing was introduced, which naturally tends to spread visitors more evenly.
41 What is there to do near Disneyland Paris besides the parks?
You won’t run out of things to do close by. Animal lovers can head to Parrot World or the Parc des Félins, and there’s also the SEA LIFE Paris Val d’Europe aquarium, the Imagi Park leisure complex, and the Villages Nature water park. If you’d like to shop, try Val d’Europe or La Vallée Village. Golf is another option, as are strolls by the Marne River, not to mention full-day outings to Paris, Provins, or Parc Astérix.
42 Disneyland Paris or Parc Astérix: which one should you pick?
Located in Plailly, roughly 50 minutes from Disneyland Paris, Parc Astérix is all about roller coasters and Gaul-themed fun. Disneyland Paris, by contrast, has a whole other feel and a very different set of rides. To help you decide based on your own tastes, I put together an in-depth comparison here on the blog.
43 Is there a reserved viewing area for guests with reduced mobility at the shows and parades?
Yes. Each park has an area for guests with reduced mobility, both for the parades (in front of the show control booth, to the left of Central Plaza) and for the nighttime castle show (to the left of the castle), when you show a Disney Priority Card or a pregnancy wristband (Thumper wristband). The person can bring two companions. Get there a little early to grab a good spot.
44 Can you bring a selfie stick or a tripod?
No. Selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, and stabilizers longer than 20 cm when extended are banned across the entire Disney area, as are professional lenses over 135 mm. Consumer gear (phones, compact cameras) is still allowed.
45 Is there a changing room for adults or children with disabilities?
Yes. A changing room is available at the First Aid center in Disneyland Park (on Main Street, U.S.A.) and at Cafe Luminosity in Disney Adventure World. It gives the person and their companions privacy, with a patient lift, an adjustable bed or seat, a restroom, and a shower. It’s where adults and children over 3 with disabilities can be changed.
46 Getting from the train station to Disneyland Paris in a wheelchair
Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station, served by the RER A, TGV, and OUIGO, is accessible and sits a short walk from the entrance. Need help at the station? Request it in advance from SNCF (24 hours before departure at the latest), or there’s no guarantee you’ll get it. Your own wheelchair or scooter can go anywhere in the parks and hotels, but Disney shuttles won’t take scooters.
47 Which phone number do you call to book a Disneyland Paris vacation?
Call the reservations center at +33 9 69 32 60 61, Monday through Friday 9:30-19:30 and Saturday 9:30-18:00. This number also handles tickets and questions about prices.
48 Do Disneyland Paris phone numbers cost extra?
No. The official numbers start with 01 and 09, so there’s no premium rate. You pay what a local call costs, or nothing extra if your plan includes calls to landlines. The 08xx numbers you see elsewhere don’t belong to the park.
49 What show took the place of Disney Illuminations?
Disney Tales of Magic took over from Disney Illuminations on January 10, 2025 (after Disney Dreams! came back in between), at Disneyland Park, on the castle and now also on the building fronts of Main Street, U.S.A.
50 What is there to do at Disney Adventure World?
Mostly, you’ll find thrill rides and Marvel and Pixar worlds that Disneyland Park doesn’t have, spread across several lands: World of Frozen, Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar, World Premiere Plaza, Adventure Way, and soon The Lion King. On top of that, there are several indoor shows and, in the evening, Disney Cascade of Lights on Adventure Bay lake. For a detailed hour-by-hour plan, follow my guide to planning your day.
51 Is Disney Adventure World worth it?
Yes, if you go in knowing what you want from it. My rating is 4 out of 5 stars. This is where you come for thrills and the Marvel and Pixar worlds, plus great indoor shows and a nighttime show over the lake. The flip side: compared with Disneyland Park, the ride count is still lower, there’s no parade, and some areas are still being built. If it’s your first visit and you only have one day, Disneyland Park is the one I’d pick. Disney Adventure World makes the most sense once your trip lasts 2 days or more.
52 Can you dress up in costume at Disneyland Paris?
Yes for kids under 12, all year long. From age 12, only on special days, like October 31 for Halloween or Star Wars Day on May 4. Costumes are also allowed at some Disneyland Pass evenings. Disney Bounding is fine all year.
53 Is there any special help for pregnant guests?
Yes, the pregnancy wristband (Thumper wristband). You pick it up by showing proof of pregnancy, and it gives you the same priority access as the card on a selection of rides. It replaces the old card for these guests.
54 Can you email Disneyland Paris?
No single public email address can be relied on. Disneyland Paris steers guests toward its online contact form, which keeps track of what you sent. Addresses posted on other websites tend to be old or incorrect.
55 How do you file a complaint with Disneyland Paris?
Use the contact form on the official website, or send a letter to Disneyland Paris, Bâtiment Fantasia, BP 100, 77777 Marne-la-Vallée Cedex 4. The form is the recommended route because it keeps a written record.
56 What number do you call about disabilities or food allergies?
A service dedicated to disabilities, medical conditions, and food allergies takes your calls at +33 9 69 32 09 60. It helps you tailor your visit to your needs.
57 Does Disneyland Paris ban alcohol?
Yes, outside alcohol isn’t allowed in. Inside the park, only licensed restaurants serve drinks with alcohol.
58 What time do the fireworks start at Disneyland Paris?
The nighttime show takes place at park closing time, just before the gates shut. So it’s earlier in winter (often around 20:00 or 21:00) and later in summer (around 22:00 to 22:40). The time changes every night, so check the one for your day in the official Disneyland Paris app on the day itself.
59 Are guide dogs and service dogs allowed?
Yes. Guide dogs and service dogs are welcome in the parks, hotels, stores, and restaurants. The dog must stay leashed and under control, with up-to-date paperwork. Some rides don’t allow dogs on board, and a dedicated waiting area is then provided, as at Pirates of the Caribbean.
60 What exactly is Disney Adventure World?
Disney Adventure World is the new name of Disneyland Paris’s second park, formerly Walt Disney Studios. It’s home to the nighttime show Disney Cascade of Lights, on Adventure Bay lake.
61 Is it OK to pack your own food or a picnic for Disneyland Paris?
Yes. Your own cold food is allowed (sandwiches, snacks, fruit, cake, a reusable water bottle) in a backpack or a small soft cooler bag, and there’s a picnic area between Disney Village and the parking lots. Not allowed: alcohol, glass containers, knives, and large hard coolers. I always tuck a reusable water bottle and some cookies into my bag. It keeps energy dips and counter lines at bay, and it trims the bill.
62 Reserved viewing area: what is it and what does it cost?
This paid add-on, separate from your ticket, holds a supervised standing area for you so you can watch some parades and nighttime shows without waiting ages (seating isn’t guaranteed). Plan on €24 to €29 per person for a nighttime show and €19 to €24 for the parade. Prices shift with how crowded the day is.
63 Can you see the show from every side of the lake?
Yes, Adventure Bay lake gives you a view from all around. That said, the show uses four water screens, each with its own projector. To get the most out of the projections, stand as squarely as you can in front of one water screen rather than between two.
64 To see the parade well, how early do you need to arrive?
Allow 30 to 45 minutes for the best spots, and come very early for the bandstand spot facing Main Street U.S.A. (small, and it fills up fast). Along the street, though, there’s often still room even 15 minutes before the start, and the same goes near the two towers in Fantasyland. It depends on how busy the day is.
65 What’s the best age for a first visit?
From age 4, your child really gets to enjoy the day. Ages 6-9 remain the easiest window: tall enough, good stamina, and an imagination that’s wide open.
66 Which rides work for toddlers?
Lots of family rides are open even to the littlest ones, with no height requirement: it’s a small world, Le Carrousel de Lancelot, Peter Pan’s Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Buzz Lightyear.
67 Does Disneyland Paris have luggage storage?
Yes, there are three options: to the right of the Disneyland Park entrance, at the Disney hotels (free for hotel guests), and at the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy TGV station, which is a service run independently of Disney.
68 Do you have to pay for luggage storage?
It’s free only at the Disney hotels, for hotel guests. At the park and the station, you pay depending on the size of your belongings. The Disneyland Pass no longer gets you free storage.
69 Is there a minimum age for bringing a child (or a baby) to Disneyland Paris?
There’s no minimum age: you can come with a newborn, right from birth. The only real limit is your child’s height on certain thrill rides, never their age. As long as you shape the day around their rhythm (naps, meals, quiet moments), a visit at a very young age goes really well.
70 What does Guaranteed Access cost?
Guaranteed Access starts at €15 per person for each show, with one price no matter which show, and it may rise on the busiest days. You buy it in addition to your park ticket.
71 How long before Disney Cascade of Lights should you get there?
By the lake at Disney Adventure World, you generally need 30 to 45 minutes before the show for a good spot, and 45 to 60 minutes for the best views facing the stage when crowds are heavy. Spots farther back can be claimed later.
72 Do kids pay the tourist tax at Disneyland Paris?
No. Anyone under 18 is exempt. The tourist tax applies only to adults (18 and up), even when a child sleeps in a bed in the room.
73 How much is face painting at Disneyland Paris?
Face painting for 1 person runs €19, for 2 people €27, and for 3 people €36. Prices for arm designs begin at €15. Adding a crown brings it to €45, while face painting plus a crown and a hairdo comes to €75, and a hairdo with an accessory costs €42.
74 Does an annual pass or a Disneyland Pass get you a discount on face painting?
No, face painting is never discounted, not even with an annual pass or a Disneyland Pass. Every guest pays the same posted price, as the official sign at the stand states.
75 Can you only get the face paint and crown package at World of Frozen?
No, the face painting package with a crown (€45) is offered at several stands, not just in the World of Frozen land, themed to Frozen. Hairstyles can vary from one stand to another, so it’s best to check on-site which packages the stand you’re interested in offers.
76 If I reserve on Booking or Expedia, is the tourist tax still due?
Usually yes, and you pay it separately when you arrive. With partner hotels and bookings made through a third-party site, the tax isn’t always included in the price. Check your booking confirmation.
77 What is there to do at Imagi Park?
Six businesses: SpeedPark (bowling, go-karts, laser tag, arcade, karaoke, virtual reality), KoJump (a trampoline park), Fort Boyard Aventures (an obstacle course of challenges), Activate (action games), the Gold’s Gym fitness center, and the forest-themed Wonderwoods restaurant.
78 What are Imagi Park’s hours?
On regular days, the complex often opens in the afternoon on weekdays (around 13:00) and earlier on weekends and during French school vacations. It stays open late, until midnight on weekdays and until 1:00 in the morning on Fridays and Saturdays. Each business sets its own hours, so check the official website before you go.
79 How much does it cost to get into Imagi Park?
There’s no single admission ticket. Entry to the complex is free, and each activity is paid for separately, with several pricing options (per session, per hour, unlimited). Since it’s an independent venue, it’s best to check prices on-site or on each business’s website.
80 Can you visit Imagi Park without a Disney ticket?
Yes. Imagi Park is an independent entertainment complex located in the Val d’Europe shopping mall. It sits right next to Disneyland Paris but has no connection to the parks: you can walk in without a Disney ticket, and your Disney tickets or passes don’t give you any perks there either.
81 Do Magic Shots cost extra?
No, the Magic Shot isn’t billed on top. It’s included with your Disney PhotoPass or PhotoPass+ package, with no extra charge per effect. You just need a package to download the photo in high quality. You’ll find all the prices in the article on Disney PhotoPass and PhotoPass+.
82 Do you need a PhotoPass for a Magic Shot?
Yes. To download your Magic Shots and keep them at full quality, a Disney PhotoPass or PhotoPass+ is required. Either buy a package ahead of your session, or take a temporary card from the photographer and make up your mind afterward. The article on Disney PhotoPass and PhotoPass+ walks through every package.
83 Can you choose the character in your Magic Shot?
No. Magic Shots change depending on the location, the day, and the season. There’s no way to guarantee a specific character. Think of it as a nice surprise. To find out what’s available during your trip, check the app on the day itself.
84 How many companions does the Priority Card allow?
Up to 4 companions on rides, at character meet and greets, and at indoor shows, and 2 at outdoor shows and parades. Kids under 3 count toward this number.
85 How can I find out the exact showtime on the day of my visit?
There are three reliable sources: the box at the top of this article, the daily schedule in the official Disneyland Paris app, and the signs at the park entrance. Showtimes are usually published about three months ahead.
86 What is an Animated Magic Shot?
It’s the animated version of the Magic Shot. Instead of a still photo, you get a short video where the effect comes to life. It works the same way: you pose for the photographer, and the effect gets added afterward. Availability varies by day and season.
87 How long are lost items kept?
Items are held for a limited time, and valuables are generally kept longer than small everyday things. Lost and found doesn’t publish a fixed time frame, and it can vary. So report your loss as soon as you can, without waiting.
88 What documents do I need to leave my dog at the kennel?
Bring the vaccination booklet or European pet passport showing current vaccines, plus a rabies shot that’s still valid (done at least 1 month and at most 1 year ago). Your pet also has to be identified with a microchip or a tattoo.
89 Is first aid free?
Yes, access and basic care cost nothing for any guest. Only a visit from a local doctor, if one is needed, is at your own expense.
90 Can I get acetaminophen (paracetamol) or other basic medication?
Yes. The nurses can give you basic medication based on your symptoms. Always tell them about any allergies and any medication you’re currently taking.
91 Where can I rest if I feel unwell in the park?
The first aid stations have rest areas with beds. You can lie down somewhere quiet and be looked after by a nurse.
92 Is there a first aid station at Disneyland Paris?
Yes. There’s one first aid station in Disneyland Park, one in Disney Adventure World (the second park), and one in Disney Village. Each is staffed by registered nurses, free, and open with no appointment needed.
93 Which Disney hotel allows dogs?
Only Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch accepts dogs, one dog per cabin, for a fee of about €30 per night. That doesn’t mean your dog can go into the parks, though. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed.
94 Can I leave my dog alone in the cabin at Davy Crockett Ranch?
Yes, it’s tolerated: your dog can stay alone in the cabin during the day, at no extra cost, with a sign on the door for housekeeping. Still, think about its well-being before leaving it alone for several hours: heat in the cabin, how used it is to being alone, and its need for walks and fresh water.
95 Which hotel should you pick for a Marvel-loving teen?
Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel is the ideal choice: superhero decor, Marvel artwork and statues, and an atmosphere that carries Avengers Campus right into your stay. For a calmer alternative, there’s Sequoia Lodge, but check how its phased renovation is going and which services are open before you book.
96 Should you get Premier Access for a teen?
It’s not essential, but it helps on the most popular rides if your budget allows. The smart strategy: combine Premier Access (paid) on the thrill ride your teen absolutely wants to do with Single Rider (free) for everything else. Tip for independence: if you lend them your phone, they can manage their own reservations in the app.
97 Is special permission required to pop the question at the park?
No, you don’t need any permission as long as you’re not in anyone’s way. You can get down on one knee in a public area. However, you’re not allowed to block a ride or a parade, or to get up on a show stage.
98 Why is Mulan a Disney Princess?
Although Mulan wasn’t born royal and never marries a prince, she belongs to the Disney Princesses lineup: her place comes from a heroic deed, saving China. She became an official part of the franchise in 2006, following a popularity contest.
99 Should you cancel your Disneyland Paris visit because of wind?
No. Your day will hold up just fine: most rides and restaurants aren’t affected. Only some outdoor shows may be cut short or canceled. Just bring a windproof jacket.
100 How can I tell if the wind will be too strong on the day of my visit?
Check the forecast and the Météo-France weather alerts for Seine-et-Marne the day before and that morning. In the park, the teams announce any show cancellations as the day goes on.
101 How much does a wedding at Disneyland Paris cost?
Plan on a budget in the tens of thousands of euros. The most budget-friendly route is a basic package for about twenty guests, whereas top venues such as the castle rank among the most expensive. There’s no published rate card from Disney: each wedding gets its own quote, depending on location, guest count, and extras.
102 Which restaurant is best for an intimate dinner as a couple?
For a quiet, romantic dinner, go for Walt’s (about €55 per person) or Manhattan Restaurant (about €55). Skip La Table de Lumière if you’re planning an intimate proposal: it’s a character meal, with princes and princesses stopping by every table (the set menu runs around €120 per adult).
103 How do you plan a single day at Disneyland Paris?
Three pillars: pick a quiet date (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, outside French school vacations), arrive 30 minutes before opening, and prepare a list of 5 to 6 priority rides to do right at opening, when lines are shortest. Set aside time for the shows and the parade that matter to you, eat at off-peak times, and leave some slack to wander. Leave the rest of the day to improvisation.
104 Does paying in installments come with fees?
No, not on the official website. It’s fee-free: spreading out your payment costs you nothing more, and you pay the same price as you would all at once. Third-party options (Carrefour Voyages, Cdiscount) have their own terms and sometimes charge fees.
105 Can you pay for tickets alone in installments?
No. The official website doesn’t offer installment payments for park tickets bought without a hotel. Installments are only available for hotel + ticket packages.
106 Should you download the Disneyland Paris app, and what is it for?
Yes, get it on your phone before you go. The app costs nothing and gives you real-time wait times, a park map, and today’s hours. You can also purchase Premier Access through it, reserve a table at a restaurant, and pull up your PhotoPass pictures. Once you arrive, hop on the park’s free Wi-Fi so pages don’t get stuck loading.
107 Rider Switch (formerly Baby Switch): what is it, and does it cost anything?
This free service lets grown-ups take turns riding an attraction with a minimum height, with no second wait in line. It takes at least two adults: the first rides while the second stays with the child who’s too small, and then the second adult gets on via a quicker entrance. Just ask the Cast Member at the entrance of the ride. Single Rider is something else: it fills leftover single seats with people riding alone.
108 What’s the cheapest and least crowded time to visit?
Aim for mid-January to early February (after the holidays) and September (after back-to-school), outside school vacations (including those of neighboring countries, which also drive up crowds). During the week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are the quietest, and Saturday is the busiest. These slower periods are often the cheapest too, since prices are dynamic.
109 Can you visit 2 parks in one day at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, with a 1-day 2-park ticket, you can go back and forth between the parks freely. It’s a fast pace: you’ll have to make choices and accept that you won’t see everything. Knock out 3 or 4 priorities in the first park in the morning, switch to the second one around lunchtime, and come back in the evening to the park where you want to end your day. Since Disney Adventure World has fewer rides, you’ll get through your priorities there faster.
110 Are there still drones in the nighttime show in 2026?
At the castle, no: since April 1, 2026, Disney Tales of Magic has been presented without drones, focusing on projections and pyrotechnics. To see drones, head to Disney Cascade of Lights at Disney Adventure World, with aerial drones and water drones skimming the surface.
111 Can you pay with ANCV vacation vouchers or PayPal?
Yes. You can use ANCV vacation vouchers to pay some or all of the remaining balance, once a deposit has gone through by card or PayPal. Disney takes PayPal, and depending on your profile, PayPal itself may let you split the payment, under its own terms rather than Disney’s.
112 Is booking a Disneyland Paris vacation last minute cheaper?
Generally not, especially for Disney hotels. Their prices are dynamic: they go up as the hotel fills. Booking early locks in the lowest rates. Last minute can be worth it in the off-peak season, on weekdays, or at a partner hotel outside Disney.
113 How many parks can you visit during VIP Tours?
One or two, depending on your ticket. Every participant needs a ticket valid for that day. With a ticket for just one park, your guide can arrange access to the second park during the day (for an extra fee). With an undated ticket or an annual pass, remember to register your visit on the park reservation system before the big day.
114 Which day of the week is best for a one-day Disneyland Paris visit?
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are usually the quietest, outside French school vacations. Saturday is the busiest day. As for months, January, March, and September are the calmest. If crowds bother you, avoid July-August, Toussaint (the French fall school break, during Halloween season), the Christmas break, and weekends in May. Also keep in mind school vacations in neighboring countries, which have a big impact on crowds.
115 Can kids do VIP Tours on their own?
No. Anyone under 18 needs an adult with them and can’t be left alone with the guide.
116 Can you book VIP Tours on the same day?
Yes, it can be done, but spots go quickly, so book as far ahead as you can. You can submit a request right up to your visit day, subject to availability. Staying at a Disney hotel? The front desk can handle the booking too.
117 What time are the July 14 fireworks?
The show starts in the evening, typically late and often after 23:00, since the park stays open later that night. Timing shifts from one year to the next, so look at the day’s schedule in the official app or ask on-site.
118 How do you pay for VIP Tours?
Only by credit or debit card, over the phone. For any questions, the VIP Tours team can be reached at +33 1 60 30 50 60 (local call rate).
119 Can VIP Tours be booked together with my tickets or vacation package?
Yes. Just let the team know when you send your request, by email or by phone.
120 Who can get the Priority Card, and what proof do you need?
The Priority Card is for guests with a recognized disability, visible or invisible (including autism), who can show official proof: a CMI (France’s official disability card) marked disability or priority, a disability card or war disability card, an MDPH or MDA decision confirming the disability, or a military disability pension. An RQTH alone or an ALD (a long-term condition recognized by the French health system) alone isn’t enough. For international visitors, a medical certificate in French or English dated within the last 3 months may be accepted.
121 Are the rides wheelchair accessible?
Each ride is different. On some, you can stay in your wheelchair because the vehicles are adapted. Others mean you have to move from the wheelchair to the seat, and a handful can’t be ridden at all. Your companions, not Cast Members, are the ones who help with that transfer. For details ride by ride, see my attraction guides and my article on renting a wheelchair.
122 Are there accommodations for autistic or highly sensitive guests?
Yes. For autism spectrum disorders, Disneyland Paris has a dedicated welcome booklet that rates each ride on sensory factors (noise, light, surprise effects, length). Sensory effects are marked on the Accessibility Maps, quieter spots exist where you can take a breather, and Cast Members are there to answer questions on-site. My guide to visiting with an autistic person goes into how to organize a day that works.
123 Can you get a refund or reschedule your visit because of a thunderstorm?
Weather alone doesn’t entitle you to a refund at Disneyland Paris. That said, a dated ticket can be canceled up to 3 days before the planned date, and an undated ticket is easy to move before your visit day. I go over these steps in my dedicated guides to cancellation and the undated ticket.
124 How do you get the Priority Card at Disneyland Paris?
Start the request online from your customer account up to about 1 month before your visit (independence questionnaire, proof, and a photo to upload). On the day of your visit, pick up the card at City Hall (Disneyland Park), at Studio Services (Disney Adventure World), or at the front desk of a Disney hotel, bringing the original proof and a photo ID. Disneyland Pass holders go through the annual pass windows.
125 Does the Priority Card really let you skip the line?
Not exactly. It gives you priority access, but not necessarily immediate access: it’s not a guaranteed line skip. Depending on the color dot, you go through the Premier Access line or the line for guests with reduced mobility, which cuts the wait without always eliminating it. The actual wait depends on crowd levels.
126 What should you do in case of heatstroke at Disneyland Paris?
Head for shade or a cool spot, take a seat, have something to drink, and cool yourself down. Should symptoms continue (headache, nausea, dizziness), make your way to the first aid station. There’s a free one in each park, staffed by a registered nurse who can take care of you and give you a quiet place to lie down.
127 Do fibromyalgia or endometriosis qualify you for the Easy Access Card?
Neither fibromyalgia nor endometriosis is on the list of 30 ALDs (long-term conditions recognized by the French health system), the only list the park recognizes for this card. In some cases, they can be covered as ALD 31 (the so-called "off-list" condition), but that one isn’t among the 30 recognized by the park. Eligibility isn’t guaranteed, so check at the desk (City Hall or Studio Services).
128 What medical certificate do you need?
You need the original medical certificate, written in French or English, signed and stamped by a doctor, dated within the last 3 months, and confirming a long-term condition (you don’t have to say which one, but check that it’s on the list of 30). Photos and photocopies are refused. You’ll also be asked for a photo ID, since the card is in your name.
129 What is the most intense thrill ride at Disneyland Paris?
Many guests point to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, at Disney Adventure World, as the most intense: a lift carries you up to the top of a tower before dropping you in a string of free falls that change every ride. Between that stomach-in-your-throat sensation and never knowing when the next drop comes, it’s the ride that leaves the strongest impression on lots of visitors.
130 Is the undated ticket (Billet Liberté in French) a good way to save money?
No, it’s a flexibility tip, not a money-saving one. This undated ticket (Billet Liberté in French) is valid for one year, except on July 14, October 31, and December 31. You can change its date, but it costs noticeably more than a dated ticket. It works if your dates aren’t set. You still need to register your visit date.
131 Can I bring my own wheelchair or mobility scooter?
Yes. Your own wheelchair, manual or electric, or your scooter is welcome in the parks as well as in the Disney hotels, as long as it meets standard width and speed requirements. The only restriction: electric scooters aren’t allowed on hotel shuttles and buses.
132 Do Disney hotels lend wheelchairs?
Disney hotels let you store a wheelchair overnight, which is handy for a rental over several days. However, they don’t always offer rentals or loans: rentals go through the park counters or an outside provider. Check with your hotel’s concierge.
133 New to thrill rides? Which one should you start with?
Start with something moderate: Star Tours (an enclosed simulator, with no drops and no real speed) or Big Thunder Mountain (an outdoor family roller coaster). You get a taste of the thrills without the raw intensity of the big coasters, then work your way up if you feel like it.
134 Is Disneyland Paris a good fit for seniors and older adults?
Yes, if you go easy on the schedule. Rides aren’t really the issue. What wears people out is walking and standing in lines, since you’ll cover several kilometers each day. Plan the day around shows where you can sit, character meet and greets, and some gentle rides, take breaks often, and use a wheelchair if needed, and the visit remains a pleasant one.
135 When are last-minute deals easiest to find?
Weekdays between mid-January and early February, and in September once kids are back in school. Those are the year’s least expensive periods, because lower demand pulls prices down. French school vacations, weekends, Halloween, and Christmas, on the other hand, are when you’re least likely to find a lower price.
136 Are partner hotels cheaper if I book at the last minute?
In many cases, yes. Partner hotels sit near the park without being run by Disney, and they put out last-minute rates more often. On top of that, they usually cost noticeably less than Disney’s own hotels, particularly outside peak season.
137 Do you need to book Disneyland Paris far in advance?
For most trips, yes. Booking early gives you a wider choice of hotels, the best prices as soon as sales open, and the option to spread out your payments. That matters most for French school vacation periods, Halloween, and Christmas, when dates sell out fast. For a quiet period with flexible dates, you can book later.
138 Can I pay for a reserved spot to watch the parade?
Yes. You’ll find this premium spot along the outer side of Central Plaza, beside Plaza Gardens. It runs €21 to €24 a head, and booking happens only in the Disneyland Paris app. My full guide covers it all: the premium viewing spot.
139 What is the least crowded month at Disneyland Paris?
The quietest months are January, March, and September (outside French school vacation). January, right after the holidays, is often the calmest time of the whole year. On the other hand, July-August, October (Halloween), and December (Christmas) draw the biggest crowds.
140 Is there a prize at the end of the Discovery Quest?
Yes: once your child finishes the quest, they pick up a small souvenir gift at the hotel store (what you get can vary depending on the time of year).
141 How old do you need to be for the thrill rides?
There’s no official age limit: what counts is the minimum height (from 1.02 m to 1.40 m depending on the ride), checked at the entrance. So a tall enough child can ride, and so can a shorter adult. To know exactly who can do what, go by the height chart rather than by age. You’ll find the details in the height requirements guide.
142 Can you rent a double or reclining stroller?
Not in the parks: they only offer single, non-reclining models. For a double stroller or a reclining seat suited to an infant, bring your own or use an outside rental company that delivers to your hotel when you book ahead.
143 Is the Baby Care Center at Disneyland Paris free?
Yes, it’s completely free for every family, with no reservation needed. You can use the microwave, bottle warmer, changing tables, and nursing area as you like. Only the emergency supplies sold there (diapers, wipes, baby food jars) cost money.
144 Where is the Baby Care Center in Disneyland Park right now?
Since May 2026, it has temporarily moved near Central Plaza, into the former Annual Pass office, because the Plaza Gardens restaurant (its usual neighbor on Main Street) has been closed for refurbishment since March 31, 2026. It’s expected back in its original spot sometime in 2027. Check where it is on the day in the official Disneyland Paris app.
145 Can I breastfeed at the Baby Care Center?
Yes. The Baby Care Center has a private nursing room, quiet and with no music, furnished with armchairs. It’s open to moms and dads alike, and there are outlets for plugging in an electric breast pump.
146 How much time does the Discovery Quest take?
Plan on about 30 minutes to 1 hour. It’s played on a phone at your own pace, so you can take a break and pick it back up later in the day.
147 Is August a crowded month at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, August is one of the busiest months: it’s high summer, with French and foreign school vacations at the same time. Crowds are heavy every day, weekends and weekdays alike. If you have a choice, go for January, March, or September instead.
148 Should you avoid French school vacations at Disneyland Paris?
If you want to dodge the crowds, yes: school vacations (French ones, but also English and Spanish breaks) push attendance up, especially at Christmas, Toussaint (the French fall school break), and in spring. The exception is the French winter break (February): the park stays calmer, since lots of families head off skiing.
149 Is Disneyland Paris crowded on July 14?
Yes. Crowds are usually heavy to very heavy: summer season, school vacations across Europe, the French national holiday, and sometimes a long weekend all pile up. To plan ahead, check the crowd calendar.
150 Which thrill rides are in the dark?
Hyperspace Mountain, Avengers Assemble Flight Force, and Crush’s Coaster all run in darkness. On Crush’s Coaster, the dark comes on top of the spinning car, which is even more disorienting because you can’t see the moves coming. Big Thunder Mountain, by contrast, is mostly out in the open air.
151 Where can you rent a stroller in the parks?
At the entrance of each park. At Disneyland Park, stroller rental is at Town Square Terrace, on the right just after the Main Street U.S.A. train station. At Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios), it’s at the entrance on the right, next to Studio Photo.
152 Is Space Mountain gone?
No, it’s still there. Disney simply renamed it Hyperspace Mountain. Same ride, fresh name, new theming, and you can still ride it in Discoveryland.
153 Why did Walt Disney Studios lose so many attractions?
The second park is going through a major transformation. Several original attractions from 2002 (Studio Tram Tour, Armageddon, Moteurs... Action, CinéMagique, Animagique) were closed or torn down to make room for new areas, including Avengers Campus.
154 Can Disneyland Paris reach full capacity?
Yes. On extremely busy days, Disneyland Paris can hit maximum capacity and close its gates: guests without a dated ticket are then turned away. The only real way to guarantee your entry is to book a ticket for a set date ahead of time, then show up early in the morning.
155 Where should I stand to get great photos and video?
For photos and videos of Disney Tales of Magic, I recommend the technical booth across from the Casey’s Corner terrace (spot 3). You get a clear view of the castle, there aren’t many people around, and low walls let you lift kids up. Remember to turn off your flash, which lowers image quality and bothers other guests.
156 Where should I stand to get out of the park quickly after the show?
To leave quickly after Disney Tales of Magic, stand near the park entrance (spot 5) or halfway down Main Street U.S.A. (spot 4): you still enjoy the show while being among the first to reach the exit. Otherwise, wait ten minutes or so after it ends to let the crowds thin out.
157 What happened to the rides on the Rivers of the Far West?
Two rides on the Rivers of the Far West in Frontierland are gone: Les Canoës (Indian Canoes), closed as early as 1994, and the River Rogue Keelboats, shut down for good around 2009-2010. Both suffered from low ride capacity.
158 What counts as a refurbishment at Disneyland Paris?
A refurbishment is a temporary ride closure for maintenance or renovation. It’s scheduled and announced in advance, and the ride reopens afterward. That’s different from a breakdown (an unplanned, short closure) and from a permanent closure (a ride that’s removed and never reopens).
159 How long before showtime should I grab my spot?
That varies with the park, the area you want, and how busy it is. In my viewing-spot guide for each show, I list the exact lead time for every area.
160 Is the show OK for little kids?
Yes, both shows are open to everyone. The music and effects can be loud for little ones, so ear protection is a good idea for babies and young children.
161 Which rides are closed right now at Disneyland Paris?
The list of closed rides changes regularly. My calendar of ride closures lists scheduled closures month by month. It also shows, live, the rides closed today and the ones broken down right now. It’s the most reliable way to find out what’s closed during your dates.
162 What time do the Disneyland Paris parks open and close?
Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World usually open around 9:30, run on nearly identical hours, and close in the evening. Exact times depend on the season, the day, and any events, so check the banner at the top of the park hours page or the official app for your date. Disneyland Paris is open 365 days a year. Only the hours change.
163 How do I find showtimes and parade times on the day of my visit?
Open the official Disneyland Paris app on the morning of your visit: it shows that day’s times for parades, shows, and character meets. In the parks, you’ll also find signs outside the theater entrances and at City Hall.
164 Is Disneyland Paris a good fit for autistic visitors?
Yes, as long as you plan your visit. The park offers a guide that rates each ride on sensory criteria, a priority card to skip the lines, quiet places, and trained Cast Members. The setting is still very stimulating, so preparing ahead is what makes the difference.
165 What is the Disneyland Paris Blue Booklet?
The Blue Booklet (Livret Bleu) is the official document for people with autism spectrum disorder or a cognitive disability. It rates every ride and restaurant on sensory criteria (noise, darkness, motion, visual and smell stimulation), using pictograms and a scale from 1 to 4. You can download it for free from the Accessibility page of disneylandparis.com.
166 Is Premier Access included with a Club room?
No. Premier Access is never included, whether in a Deluxe room or the Castle Club. The Castle Club’s private elevator makes getting into the park easier, but it gives you no advantage in the lines.
167 How much is the birthday cake?
Expect about €25 for a small cake (serves about 2) and about €45 for a large one (serves about 6), at a buffet or table-service restaurant. Order it ahead of time, since quantities are limited.
168 Where can I find quiet areas in the park?
The Blue Booklet first lists the First Aid Centers, found in each park and in Disney Village. The shore of Lake Disney, in Disney Village, is calm during the day and has benches. Each land also has quieter corners, so ask a Cast Member to point you to the nearest quiet area.
169 How does the character virtual queue work?
It all happens in the official app, once your ticket has been scanned at the park entrance (not before, and only for that same day). You book a free time slot. Slots usually open in two waves (in the morning when the park opens and in the early afternoon), sometimes with a third in the late afternoon. Only one booking can be active at a time, with a limit of 6 people per slot and up to 5 character meets per day. Everyone in your group, kids included, has to be counted.
170 Do you need a portable charger at Disneyland Paris?
Absolutely, it’s the single most useful thing in your bag. Your phone acts as your ticket, your app, your Premier Access, and your camera, so it runs out of juice quickly. A solid power bank (10,000 mAh or more) gets you through the whole day. Pack the charging cable too.
171 Does Disneyland Paris lend noise-canceling headphones or sensory equipment?
No. The park doesn’t lend noise-canceling headphones or sensory vests. The Blue Booklet recommends bringing your own gear: earplugs or headphones, sunglasses, and a comfort item. No sensory room and no early entry specifically for autism is officially offered.
172 Is the hotel pool open to people who aren’t staying there?
No. Only guests of that hotel can swim there, and it comes with the stay. Day visitors can’t get in, and neither can people staying at a different hotel. Your room key card opens the door, and it stops working once you check out.
173 Can I breastfeed at Disneyland Paris, and where?
Yes. The Baby Care Centers have armchairs in a closed, peaceful space, away from the noise and the crowds, so you can breastfeed or bottle-feed in peace. See the Baby Care Center for their locations.
174 Should I bring my own stroller or rent one from Disney?
Bring your own. The rental stroller isn’t suited to a baby (rigid seat, no recline for naps). I go over everything in my article on strollers.
175 Can you vape at Disneyland Paris?
Not in the parks. Disney’s park rules treat e-cigarettes exactly like cigarettes, so both are banned. Outside the parks, though, vaping is fine in the resort’s open-air spaces, like Disney Village or the grounds around the hotels.
176 Is my child allowed to come in costume?
Yes. Kids under 12 may wear costumes year-round, including at Halloween. Any mask has to keep the eyes showing, and skip capes or props that trail along the ground. Starting at age 12, costumes are off-limits unless there’s a medical reason. There are a few special days when that rule is lifted, October 31 for Halloween being one, and then anyone can dress up.
177 Castle or Main Street: which spot is better?
Both options have their perks for watching Disney Tales of Magic. Near the castle, you get a better view of the projections and the fountains. On Main Street U.S.A., you enjoy the projection mapping on the building facades and have much more space around you, which is ideal with a family. The choice comes down to what matters most to you.
178 Is there a bag size limit at the entrance?
Yes. Bags must not exceed 55 x 40 x 25 cm, wheels, pockets, and handles included. Large hard-shell suitcases are turned away, but there’s paid luggage storage outside the parks, near the entrance.
179 Can you smoke while waiting in line?
No. Every line sits within the parks, where smoking is banned. You’ll need to head to one of the designated smoking areas.
180 Is smoking allowed in Disney hotels or on a balcony?
Disney hotel rooms, along with any covered or enclosed hotel space, are smoke-free, and that includes vaping. Outdoors at the hotels, no specific rule banned it when this was published, but please keep your distance from other guests.
181 Which rides close during a thunderstorm?
Lightning is the trigger, and strong wind can also shut everything down. Outdoor roller coasters like Big Thunder Mountain close, as do open-air rides like Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and even some tall structures that are actually covered, like Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. Rides that are fully indoors, like Pirates of the Caribbean or Phantom Manor, stay open.
182 A storm closed the ride: is my Premier Access lost?
No, your purchase isn’t wasted. The app issues you a fresh QR code. Use it once the ride reopens, or switch it to another eligible ride without a set time slot. You won’t get a refund for Premier Access, but it stays valid after the storm clears.
183 In a thunderstorm, are shows, the parade, and character meets still on?
Indoor shows go on as scheduled, and indoor character meets carry on too. Parades, open-air nighttime shows, and outdoor character meets, however, can be canceled or cut short in heavy rain, wind, or a thunderstorm, for the safety of performers and guests alike.
184 What time of year gets you the lowest prices?
The cheapest periods are also the quietest: January (especially weekdays in mid-January), March, September after back-to-school, and November outside French school vacation. With dynamic pricing, your arrival date is what matters most: avoid Saturday, the most expensive day, and arrive on a Sunday or a weekday instead.
185 Can I get the Easy Access Card for fibromyalgia, endometriosis, or an RQTH?
Not on that basis alone. The Easy Access Card is issued on a medical certificate confirming a recognized ALD (a long-term condition recognized by the French health system). Fibromyalgia, endometriosis, or an RQTH (French official recognition of disabled worker status) on its own isn’t enough. Depending on your situation, other documents may qualify you for the Priority Card. The exact conditions and the cases that aren’t eligible are covered in the Easy Access Card.
186 Where do I report something I left on the shuttle or train?
For the Magical Shuttle, Troov has a dedicated page, separate from the one for the parks. For an item lost on the train or the RER (Paris commuter train), contact Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station or use the SNCF lost and found form.
187 Do I have to pay for the Disneyland Paris app?
Yes. The official Disneyland Paris app costs nothing, on iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play) alike. You don’t pay anything to download it or to check wait times, the map, or park hours. Premier Access and PhotoPass are the only paid services.
188 Does the app require an account?
Yes, for most of the useful features. A free Disney account keeps your tickets, Disneyland Pass, reservations, and photos all in one place. You can create it right in the app. If you’re not signed in, some features, like the virtual queue for character meets, won’t work.
189 Best thrill rides for teenagers?
In Disneyland Park: Big Thunder Mountain, Hyperspace Mountain, Indiana Jones (the most intense, at 140 cm), and Star Tours. Over in Disney Adventure World: the Tower of Terror, plus Flight Force and Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure in Avengers Campus, then Ratatouille, RC Racer, and Crush’s Coaster (closed from September 2026 to summer 2027) in Worlds of Pixar.
190 Will prices drop if I hold off?
Rarely in a way you can count on. With dynamic pricing, the price mostly depends on demand for your arrival date, and Disneyland Paris hardly runs classic vacation sales anymore. New dates at a discounted price can show up, about 90 days ahead at the earliest, but nothing guarantees your date will get cheaper if you hold off.
191 What if my child gets scared of a big ride at the park?
Never push. Ask the Cast Members at the entrance for advice, have one parent try the ride first, and accept a no. After a scare, head to a gentle ride so you finish on a good note. Beforehand, watch a POV video of the ride together at home before your trip.
192 What is Single Rider, and which rides have it?
Single Rider fills empty single seats with guests riding alone, which cuts the wait a lot. It’s free and perfect for an independent teen. It runs on rides including Hyperspace Mountain, Flight Force, Ratatouille, Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure, and Crush’s Coaster (when it’s open). Watch out: Disney opens or suspends it depending on crowds, so don’t count on it every day.
193 Is a gluten-free or lactose-free breakfast available?
Yes. All Disney hotels and some restaurants in the parks offer a range of gluten-free, and/or dairy- and lactose-free, and/or egg-free products at breakfast, at no extra charge. These products aren’t on the regular buffet, so ask a manager when you arrive and they’ll have them brought out for you.
194 Where and how do I get the Easy Access Card?
In the parks, at the dedicated desk at the park entrances: City Hall in Disneyland Park and Studio Services in Disney Adventure World. Bring your original medical certificate and your ID. You can prepare your application online at Disneylandparis.com before your trip to save time, but you still have to show the originals in person. The card is issued free of charge.
195 Can I ask for a custom-made dish because of an allergy?
No. Kitchens don’t cook custom dishes on request, for safety reasons. What you can pick from: menu items that are compatible with your allergy, or the range of dishes made without the major allergens, available there.
196 Is there somewhere in the park to heat a bottle or baby food?
Quick-service restaurants will warm up your bottles and baby food for free, even if you’re not eating there. So there’s no need to carry a travel bottle warmer. The Baby Care Centers also have a microwave you can use. And you’re absolutely allowed to bring baby food (jars, milk, snacks).
197 At what age does a child really get the most out of Disneyland Paris?
Ages 4-8 are the sweet spot: your child can do all of Fantasyland, try their first big rides depending on height, and make the most of the character meets and shows. For a breakdown by age, see what age to take your child.
198 How tall do you need to be for Big Thunder Mountain, and how are kids measured?
The minimum height for Big Thunder Mountain is 102 cm. Kids are measured against a measuring stick at the entrance, with shoes on: the sole counts, but no inserts or heel lifts are allowed. Have your child measured as soon as you arrive so you know right away which rides they can do.
199 Are rides at Disneyland Paris OK during pregnancy?
Thrill rides (roller coasters, drops, simulators) are not recommended for pregnant visitors, and you may be turned away at boarding. You can enjoy the gentle rides with no worries (it’s a small world, boat rides, carousels, Disneyland Railroad). For shows and parades, a pregnancy wristband (Thumper wristband) gives you access to the dedicated viewing areas on request.
200 How much does the premium viewing spot for the nighttime show cost?
The show is included in your park ticket. As an option, there’s a reserved premium viewing spot for the nighttime shows, from €24 to €29 per person, bookable in the official app. Be wary of lower prices you might see elsewhere: they’re often out of date or refer to the daytime shows.
201 Eating at Disneyland Paris with a child who has food allergies: how does it work?
Choose a table-service restaurant and book your table ahead of time, so the staff has time to help you. Mention your child’s allergy as soon as you arrive, ask to see the allergen chart, and don’t hesitate to ask for the manager about the selection of dishes free from major allergens, which also comes in a kids’ version. For all the services available, see the accessibility guide.
202 Is Disney Illuminations the same as the Paris Christmas lights?
No. It’s a nighttime show projected onto the Disneyland Paris castle, and it has nothing to do with the holiday lights on the streets of Paris.
203 When do Disneyland Paris flash sales and deals come out?
Flash sales (Veepee, Showroomprivé) come back several times a year, often with no advance notice and for a short time. For vacation packages, their prices aren’t always lower than on the official website. To keep track of deals, sign up for the official newsletter and turn on notifications from these platforms. More in deals and offers.
204 Can you get married in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle?
Yes, you can, right at the foot of the castle, before or after the park’s public opening hours. Very few Disney parks offer this, and Disneyland Paris is one of them. As an extra, you can even arrive in a horse-drawn carriage with an escort of guards.
205 Do seniors get a discount at Disneyland Paris?
No, there’s no senior discount and no special price for guests over 60 at Disneyland Paris. The only option tied to mobility is the special-price ticket for guests with reduced mobility (about 25% off), reserved for eligible guests who show proof, and linked to the Priority Card or the Easy Access Card.
206 Can Disney characters come to the wedding?
Yes, as an add-on rather than as standard. Mickey, Minnie, and other characters can make an appearance at your event. You need to reserve them ahead of time, so bring it up in your quote request if it’s important to you.
207 How do I get photos of my proposal?
Ask a Disney PhotoPass photographer to stand at the spot you’ve picked, then pop the question. The Disney PhotoPass+ bundle costs €90 in 2026 (unlimited photos and videos, 10 days). Have a friend or family member hiding with a phone as a backup plan.
208 Where should I propose at Disneyland Paris?
Sleeping Beauty Castle is the top choice, with an open backdrop on its left side (toward Dragon’s Lair). The plaza in front of the castle and the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel also make beautiful settings. Aim for first thing in the morning, when the park is almost empty.
209 Can I propose during the nighttime show in front of the castle?
You can, but during Disney Tales of Magic the plaza is jam-packed and there’s no way to get a quiet corner. Let the show be your backdrop, and pick the moment right before it starts or right after it ends, so you can actually hear each other and keep it personal.
210 Can you visit Disneyland Paris alone?
Yes, absolutely. Plenty of guests come alone every day (fans, locals, annual passholders), and the park works just as well solo as in a group. You even gain freedom over your pace and get more done, with no compromises to make with anyone.
211 Is there a paid package that handles everything?
Yes. Disney offers a turnkey package through the Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings program, with a dedicated photographer, a private setting, and optional characters, on a quote basis. The details are in getting married at Disneyland Paris.
212 What ticket discount is there for guests with disabilities?
Guests with disabilities pay 25% less for park tickets, the Disneyland Pass, and evening tickets. This covers the person concerned plus one companion, with official proof of disability. While ticket prices change daily (dynamic pricing), the 25% rate itself never moves. Hotel packages are excluded, and holding only the Easy Access Card (ALD) doesn’t make you eligible. Everything is explained in the discounted ticket for guests with disabilities.
213 Is it easy to eat alone at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, no problem at all. Tables for one or two are easy to get, and nobody pays any attention. At a table-service restaurant, a solo guest is even seated faster than a group at peak times. At counter service, just shift your mealtimes to find a table without the rush.
214 Solo trip: is Single Rider worth using?
It’s a free service, included with your ticket, that puts guests riding alone in the single seats groups leave empty. Solo, it’s your most effective tool: it really pays off as soon as the standby line goes past half an hour or so. How much time you save depends on crowds, from a few minutes to sometimes over an hour.
215 Does the park close when it rains at Disneyland Paris?
No, rain doesn’t shut the park. Most rides have a roof over them, so your day can carry on. A few outdoor rides might pause for safety, mostly when the wind picks up or the rain gets heavy.
216 My child panics right at the ride entrance. What should I do?
Never force them. Get them ready at home with an onboard ride video, work up to the more intense rides gradually, and use Rider Switch: one parent rides while the other waits with the child, then you swap without lining up again. Don’t confuse it with Single Rider, which splits up your group.
217 What does a round of golf cost at the Disneyland golf course?
There’s no fixed rate: the price varies with the season, the day, and whether you have a golf card. Expect roughly €40 to €80 for an 18-hole green fee, or more in peak season or on weekends, to be confirmed when you book your tee time.
218 Where exactly is the Disneyland golf course?
You’ll find it on rue de la Mare Houleuse in Magny-le-Hongre (77700), just minutes by road from the parks and resort hotels. No shuttle runs between the parks and the course, so plan on driving, a taxi, or a rideshare.
219 How do I book a tee time at Golf Paris Val d’Europe?
Reserve ahead, either by calling +33 1 60 45 68 90 or online, on the golf course’s own website or on green fee booking platforms. Have your date, preferred time, and number of players ready.
220 How many holes does the golf course have?
There are 27 holes in total, laid out as three 9-hole loops that can be paired up. Each one has a theme: Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, or Peter Pan. For an 18-hole round, you pick two of the three loops. All of them begin and end right by the clubhouse.
221 Which shows are best for a 4- to 8-year-old child?
At this age, shows matter as much as rides: aim for Mickey and the Magician, TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure, Stitch Live!, and Minnie’s Dream Factory, not forgetting the Disney Stars on Parade parade. Check the day’s showtimes in the app, since some take breaks at certain times of year.
222 How do I get the free birthday button?
When the birthday is within roughly 30 days, you can collect one free of charge, no proof required, at City Hall, at Studio Services, or at your hotel. From then on, Cast Members and characters will wish your child a happy birthday all day. You’ll find more in birthday.
223 Should I buy tickets in advance?
Yes, as early as possible. Tickets are all digital: book online, for a specific date, rather than counting on buying at the park. Since the price of a dated ticket rises as the date fills up, buying ahead often means paying less and having your pick of dates. Aim for a quiet period to enjoy your day more (the crowd calendar).
224 Are there noise-canceling headphones for babies?
Yes. Both parks lend noise-canceling headphones for free from 18 months, just ask (at City Hall in Disneyland Park, at Studio Services in the second park), with no deposit. They come in handy for parades and the evening fireworks.
225 Are there free water refill stations in the parks?
Yes. Free drinking fountains are spread across both parks, and you can find them on the Disneyland Paris app. Bring a reusable water bottle and refill it throughout the day, so you don’t have to buy bottled water there. You can also ask for a free glass of tap water at the food counters.
226 How tall or how old must my child be for the big rides?
It all comes down to height, measured at the entrance to each ride. At 8-12 years old, most of the big ones open up: 102 cm for Big Thunder Mountain and the Tower of Terror, 120 cm for Hyperspace Mountain, 140 cm for Indiana Jones. Check your child’s height before getting in line.
227 Which rides close in the rain at Disneyland Paris?
Covered rides stay open. Outdoor rides like Big Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, or RC Racer keep running in ordinary rain: they only close in strong wind or heavy rain. These closures happen without notice, so check the official Disneyland Paris mobile app for real-time status.
228 Space Mountain: how old do you need to be?
Space Mountain is now Hyperspace Mountain. The minimum height is 120 cm, which kids often reach around ages 8-10. It’s a fast coaster in the dark that throws you around: fine at that age if your child loves big thrills, but never push them.
229 What’s the best first big coaster for a child?
Big Thunder Mountain (from 102 cm). It’s the right step up: speed and drops, some dark stretches, but no loops or inversions. It’s the training ride before Hyperspace Mountain or the Tower of Terror.
230 Does my 12-year-old pay the child price?
No. The child price applies from ages 3 to 11 inclusive. From 12, your child pays the adult price, both for park tickets and for some meal plans. Keep it in mind for your budget if a child has just moved up an age bracket.
231 Is Crush’s Coaster OK for kids, and is it open?
Crush’s Coaster requires 107 cm, which many kids this age can manage. But it closes for refurbishment starting September 7, 2026, and reopens in summer 2027. That means its Single Rider line is gone for that whole period too.
232 Will a teenager still enjoy Disneyland Paris?
Yes, a lot, as long as you focus on the thrills. Teens get hooked fast on the coasters (Big Thunder Mountain, Hyperspace Mountain, Flight Force), and especially on Avengers Campus if they’re into Marvel. Give them some independence and let them pick part of the plan: that’s often what turns "I’m too old for this" into a great day.
233 Can you leave a teen on their own in the park?
Disneyland Paris doesn’t set an official minimum age for teens to walk around alone, but parents remain responsible for a minor. So nothing stops your teen from waiting in a line or going on a ride alone or with friends: it’s up to you to decide based on how mature they are. Set a specific meeting point, make sure their phone is charged, and agree on clear rules.
234 Where can I take shelter from the rain for free at Disneyland Paris?
In Discoveryland, the covered Videopolis theater runs screenings and shows that your ticket gets you into, and there’s plenty of seating. You can also duck under the Main Street arcades or into the stores and restaurants. For your soaked gear, paid lockers are available close to the park entrance.
235 How much are the meal plans at Disneyland Paris?
If you arrive by March 31, 2027, plan on €55 (Standard half-board meal plan) up to €245 (Premium full-board meal plan) for each adult and each night, breakfast included. What you pay comes down to the plan you pick (breakfast only, half board, or full board) and its tier (Standard, Plus, Extra Plus, Premium). Kids ages 3 to 11 get a lower rate. If you arrive on or after April 1, 2027, the new plans run €32 to €170 per adult per night, and kids pay half the adult rate. Breakfast stops being part of the plan. So to compare with half board, add on the cost of breakfast if you’ll be eating it.
236 Can I get a refund on my ticket because of the weather (rain, cold, or wind)?
No. Bad weather on its own won’t get you your money back: the park doesn’t close, and lots of indoor rides and shows keep going rain or shine. Depending on what kind of ticket you have, you may still be able to change your date or cancel within the allowed time. If the forecast worries you, read canceling your vacation and look at the undated ticket, which gives you more flexibility.
237 Do parades and the nighttime show go on in the rain?
In light rain, a shortened version of the parade may be offered. In heavy rain, parades can be changed, delayed, or canceled. The nighttime show is only canceled in very bad weather, mostly in strong wind.
238 Is Disneyland Paris closed when it snows?
No, the park stays open in snow and in bitter cold. It’s mainly the outdoor rides that may close temporarily, due to frost, black ice, or snow, for safety reasons. Indoor rides keep running as usual.
239 Which rides close when it snows?
Mostly the outdoor rides, with Fantasyland leading the way (Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Casey Jr.), as well as open-air thrill rides like Big Thunder Mountain or RC Racer. None of it can be predicted ahead of time, so check the official app on the day.
240 Is it possible to propose at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, couples love it as a place to pop the question or mark a special moment. The simplest move is to tell them about the occasion when you make your booking, at the restaurant, or at hotel check-in, and depending on the case, they may plan a small gesture. Nothing specific is promised, so check directly what can be done. For the backdrop, the castle as the day winds down or a table-service dinner both work beautifully.
241 Where can I have a romantic dinner at Disneyland Paris?
Three spots stand out. For elegance, there’s Walt’s on Main Street. For a multi-course gourmet menu, try La Table de Lumière inside the Disneyland Hotel. And for a cozy, intimate mood, Manhattan Restaurant at the Hotel New York. Reserve far ahead, because dinner times get snapped up quickly.
242 Is Disneyland Paris good for a couple without kids?
Yes, and it even feels like a different park when it’s just the two of you. Without kids, you get to set your own pace: you have dinner late, you take your time, you save the nighttime show for the end of the evening. Thrill rides, great restaurants, and the two nighttime shows are more than enough to fill a trip for two.
243 What are the most romantic rides at Disneyland Paris?
Dark rides where you can sit close together: Pirates of the Caribbean and Phantom Manor. For a softer pace, it’s a small world, Le Pays des Contes de Fées, and a ride on the Disneyland Railroad or the Main Street Vehicles give the two of you a breather between two big attractions.
244 What is there to do at Disneyland Paris if rides aren’t your thing?
Plenty: the seated shows (Mickey and the Magician, The Lion King, the nighttime shows), meeting Mickey and the princesses, a proper sit-down meal at a place like Walt’s - an American restaurant, and browsing the stores, out of the weather and with no time pressure. The rides are only one part of the visit.
245 Which hotel should a large family choose at Disneyland Paris?
Disney Hotel Santa Fe (with a Cars theme) is the cheapest official hotel, with family rooms sleeping up to 6 people and a free shuttle bus to the parks. If you want to cook for yourselves and save on meals, Davy Crockett Ranch offers cabins for up to 6 people with a fully equipped kitchen, but you’ll need a car.
246 How can a large family cut its food budget?
Go for quick-service spots (Toad Hall Restaurant, Casey’s Corner), the snack chalets on Adventure Way, and the options at Disney Village, which cost less than inside the parks. Picnics are allowed and remain the cheapest choice. Lodging with a kitchen, like Davy Crockett Ranch, also lets you make some of your meals yourself, which can save you around a hundred euros on food.
247 Does Disneyland Paris offer a large-family discount?
No, Disneyland Paris has no year-round deal for large families, although a Billets Tribu offer (4 to 6 people) sometimes appears for a limited time. Groups of 20 or more are the only ones that can get a reduced rate, which drops as the group grows, through a team that handles group bookings. If you want to pay less, pick weekday dates and watch for whatever promotions are running.
248 How do you plan a day with kids of different ages?
Splitting into smaller teams works best: a grown-up handles the gentle rides with the youngest, another heads to the thrill rides with the older ones, and everyone regroups for the rides the whole family likes, mealtimes, and the evening show. Before splitting up, always set a place and a time to meet.
249 Is a Disneyland Paris wedding a legally binding civil marriage?
No. The ceremony Disney offers is symbolic and has no legal standing. In France, a civil marriage can only be performed by a civil registrar, at the town hall. So most couples get legally married at town hall first, then hold their symbolic ceremony at Disneyland Paris.
250 Auberge de Cendrillon: is it worth the price, and what does it cost?
For kids ages 4 to 8, yes: it’s the character meal with the Disney Princesses (Cinderella guaranteed). Expect about €95 per adult and €50 per child for lunch or dinner (drinks extra), and around €60/€40 for breakfast, where Mickey has joined the Princesses since spring 2026. Breakfast has two seatings, both by reservation only: the 8:15 one can only be booked with Extra Magic Time (Disney hotel guests and Gold Pass holders), while anyone can book the 9:45 one. Reservations are required through the app. See Auberge de Cendrillon and character dining.
251 Can the drone show be canceled because of the weather?
Yes. The drones don’t fly when the wind is too strong, and the show may then run without them or be canceled. Rain can also disrupt it. Your safest bet is to check the day’s program in the official app before planning your evening around the show.
252 Should first-timers pay for Premier Access?
No, it isn’t essential. If you arrive right at opening and head for the headline rides first, you’ll cover the essentials without paying extra. Premier Access (a paid priority entrance, sold per ride or as a bundle) mostly makes sense on very busy days or if you can’t get there early. It’s never included, whether with a ticket or with a hotel room.
253 Is Golf Disneyland open to the public?
Yes. The golf course is open to the public year-round (except December 25 and January 1) and welcomes players of every level, from beginners to experienced golfers. You don’t need a Disney park ticket to come and play.
254 Can you rent a wheelchair (or a stroller) at Disneyland Paris, and how much does it cost?
Yes. Manual wheelchair and stroller rental is available at the park entrances: at Town Square Terrace for Disneyland Park (on Main Street, on your right just past the turnstiles) and at Studio Services for Disney Adventure World. The same counter handles both. You can’t reserve ahead (first come, first served, with limited supply), so head there right at opening on busy days. No proof is required, even for a temporary need. Expect about €25 a day plus a €200 deposit (double-check the amounts on site). The park doesn’t rent power wheelchairs or mobility scooters: for those, go through an outside partner company and book online. You can keep the wheelchair for several days and store it at your hotel overnight.
255 Are there drones in the show?
Yes. Disney Cascade of Lights uses hundreds of aerial drones as well as water drones. The water drones glide just above the surface, so for the best view, try to be in the front row at the edge of the lake.
256 Is the show OK for little kids?
Yes, anyone can watch it. Little ones may find the music and effects loud, so ear protection is a good idea for babies and young kids.
257 What’s the difference between the premium viewing area and Guaranteed Access?
The premium viewing area reserves an outdoor standing zone for parades and nighttime shows. Guaranteed Access is a separate paid service that gets you into an indoor show at the time slot you choose, even if the theater is full. They’re two different services.
258 Is it worth visiting Disneyland Paris on July 14?
The real draw is the evening fireworks, among the most beautiful in France. During the day, there’s no special entertainment, the crowds hit record levels, and the ticket price is high. Go for it if the nighttime show is your top priority, ideally as part of a stay of several days.
259 Is Disney Dreams! still running at Disneyland Paris?
No. Disney Dreams! hasn’t been performed since May 30, 2024. It’s no longer the park’s nighttime show. These days, Disney Tales of Magic plays on the castle, and has since January 10, 2025.
260 What was Disney Dreams?
Disney Dreams! was the nighttime show at Disneyland Park, projected onto the castle for about 20 minutes at park closing. It combined video projections, water jets, lasers, pyrotechnics, and LEDs, and followed Peter Pan’s shadow on a journey through the great Disney stories.
261 When did Disney Dreams start and end?
Its official opening was April 1, 2012 (after a preview on March 31, 2012), to mark the 20th anniversary of Disneyland Paris. The first run wrapped up on March 24, 2017. It returned on April 12, 2023, for the Grand Finale of the 30th anniversary, and its final performance was on May 30, 2024.
262 Will Disney Dreams ever return?
No return has been announced so far. Since May 30, 2024, the show has been off the schedule, and the castle now hosts Disney Tales of Magic. Another comeback is possible in theory, but nothing points that way for now.
263 What’s the difference between Disney Dreams and Disney Illuminations?
Disney Dreams! told a real story, following Peter Pan’s shadow as it traveled from film to film. Disney Illuminations, on the other hand, strung together scenes from various franchises and well-known songs, with no single storyline. That’s why many visitors found Disney Dreams! more moving.
264 Disney Princesses: where do you meet them, and is a reservation required?
This dedicated meet and greet is held at the Princess Pavilion in Disneyland Park, and since 2025 it works by reservation only, through the app’s free virtual queue. You can’t pick the princess: it’s a surprise. Elsa and Anna have their own meet and greet, A Royal Encounter with Elsa and Anna, over at Disney Adventure World (World of Frozen). Your ticket covers the meet and greet. You only pay for a meal such as Auberge de Cendrillon.
265 First trip to Disneyland Paris: what’s the worst mistake you can make?
Cramming everything into a single day, especially by going back and forth between the parks. It’s smarter to spend the day in a single park and save the other for another time.
266 When should you get there to beat the lines?
Aim for park opening: lines are at their shortest during the first hour. Use it to head straight for your most popular rides.
267 Do you need to reserve restaurants in advance?
Yes for sit-down restaurants, particularly during peak season, since they book up quickly. Quick-service counters work on a walk-in basis, no reservation needed.
268 Does Disneyland Paris have a new drone show in the works?
So far, no permanent new drone show has been announced. Every now and then the park stages special drone shows (an Avatar show in December 2025, for example), which are separate from the nightly show.
269 Disney Dreams is gone: which nighttime show is playing now?
Today, the nighttime show at Disneyland Park is Disney Tales of Magic, on the castle. For everything about the current nighttime shows, check out the nighttime shows guide.
270 How do you keep your child from being turned away at a ride?
Before you promise a ride to your child, look up its height requirement. A number of thrill rides set a minimum height.
271 Why recommend 2 days in 2026?
Because Disney Adventure World has grown a lot (World of Frozen, Adventure Way, a new nighttime show) and now deserves a full day of its own. Two days, one per park, is the best balance for most visitors.
272 Is Disney Village accessible for guests with reduced mobility and strollers?
Yes. Disney Village is set up for guests with reduced mobility, with access ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms. The outdoor areas and most restaurants are stroller-friendly. If you need any help, just ask the staff on site.
273 Can you bring a birthday cake to Disneyland Paris?
Yes, a cake is fine, for a birthday celebration for instance. Candles and open flames of any kind, though, aren’t allowed in the parks, for safety.
274 Do the fireworks and parades still go ahead in freezing weather?
The big nighttime show on the castle is rarely canceled because of cold alone: it usually goes on, even on bitterly cold nights. Only strong wind or occasional restrictions can scale it back. Outdoor parades and daytime shows, on the other hand, can be canceled if the weather turns too rough, sometimes at the last minute.
275 Which rides have height requirements at Disneyland Paris?
10 rides have a minimum height: Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop and Autopia (81 cm), Big Thunder Mountain, Star Tours, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (1.02 m), Crush’s Coaster (1.07 m), Hyperspace Mountain, Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, and RC Racer (1.20 m), and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril (1.40 m). All the other rides are open to everyone, with no height restriction.
276 Where can you get warm and see characters inside when it’s cold?
Take shelter in the covered galleries along Main Street (Discovery Arcade, Liberty Arcade), the indoor rides, the tea rooms, and Café Hyperion in Discoveryland. For indoor character meets, head to Meet Mickey Mouse, beneath the Fantasyland station, and the Princess Pavilion, next to it’s a small world. In winter, fire pits and gas heaters are also set up along Main Street.
277 Does Disneyland Paris close during thunderstorms?
No, the park stays open. Only some rides stop running: the outdoor and high ones, as long as lightning is nearby. Indoor rides keep operating and become your shelter while the storm passes.
278 How tall do you need to be for Big Thunder Mountain, Crush’s Coaster, and Tower of Terror?
Big Thunder Mountain and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror both require a height of 1.02 m, and Crush’s Coaster requires 1.07 m. Kids are measured at the ride entrance, shoes included.
279 At what height can my child start doing thrill rides?
At 81 cm, and riding with an adult, your child can take on Autopia (in the passenger seat) and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. At 1.02 m, the first big rides become possible: Big Thunder Mountain, the Star Tours simulator, and Tower of Terror.
280 What’s the best ride at Disneyland Paris?
My verdict: Big Thunder Mountain, in Frontierland at Disneyland Park. It has been my top ride for as long as I can remember: the thrills are real, but the whole family can handle them. On top of that, it’s the longest Big Thunder anywhere (1,205 m) and the only one sitting on an island.
281 Which rides should you prioritize at Disneyland Paris?
If you’re short on time, I’d go for Big Thunder Mountain, Frozen Ever After, and Crush’s Coaster first. Crush’s has the longest line in the park, so ride it right at opening. Ratatouille and Pirates of the Caribbean round out a great first day.
282 What are the new rides for 2026?
The headline opening is Frozen Ever After, in World of Frozen, a land of Disney Adventure World (the second park’s new name) that opened on March 29, 2026. This family-friendly boat ride takes you into the world of Frozen, and it jumped straight to the top of my list.
283 Disneyland Paris with a baby: which rides can you go on?
For a baby, stick to gentle rides with no height requirement where you stay right beside them: "it’s a small world," Le Pays des Contes de Fées, Le Carrousel de Lancelot, Casey Jr., or Dumbo. They’re calm rides, with no loud noises or surprises. Once your child can sit up unassisted, around 6 to 9 months, they can ride snuggled against you. The park also has a Baby Care Center for looking after little ones.
284 If a ride is closed, can you get your money back?
No, ticket prices don’t factor in closed rides, and there’s no refund for them. The park stays open with dozens of other attractions. That’s why I recommend checking closures before you book your dates.
285 How many parks and lands are there at Disneyland Paris?
There are 2 parks: Disneyland Park, which has 5 lands, and Disney Adventure World, which opened with 5 areas around the Adventure Bay lake (a sixth, The Lion King, is under construction). It isn’t a 3rd park: Disney Adventure World is the former Walt Disney Studios, transformed on March 29, 2026.
286 Are closures announced in advance?
Yes, nearly always. Disney generally gives two to three months’ notice of refurbishments. The exceptions are unexpected closures (a breakdown, the weather), which hit on the day with no warning.
287 Where can you download the Disneyland Paris map?
Scroll a bit further down this page to the Download the map section: you’ll find a PDF of both parks’ maps there. It costs nothing and you can print it on A4.
288 Do the partner hotels have a Club level?
No. Neither the partner hotels nor the hotels in Val d’Europe have Club rooms or a private lounge. You’ll only find Club service in Disney’s higher-end hotels.
289 How much does the spa cost?
Expect from about €80 for a short massage, up to nearly €290 for some longer rituals or premium parent-and-child packages. These prices are a guide only: check the treatment menu PDF for the exact amounts.
290 Outside the parks, what can you do at the Disneyland Paris hotels?
There’s a lot to do: swim in the pool, meet characters, take part in the Discovery Quest treasure hunt, unwind at the spa or in the sauna, shop, and have a meal at a themed restaurant. On top of that, every hotel has activities of its own, such as pony rides at the Cheyenne or Marvel workshops at the New York.
291 Do Hotel Cheyenne and Hotel Santa Fe have a swimming pool?
No, neither Disney Hotel Cheyenne nor Disney Hotel Santa Fe has a pool. You’ll find pools at Disneyland Hotel, the New York, Newport Bay, Sequoia Lodge, and Davy Crockett Ranch.
292 Is Minnie always with Mickey?
No. At her meet and greet location, Minnie tends to appear alongside her friends, often Daisy (and now and then Clarice, the chipmunk). Mickey greets guests at a separate spot of his own, and you may see the pair together at a character meal.
293 Is meeting Mickey at Disneyland Paris free, and where is he?
In Disneyland Park, you book his main meet and greet at no cost through the app’s virtual queue (it’s unrelated to paid Premier Access). In Disney Adventure World, you’ll find Mickey on Adventure Way (at the back of Worlds of Pixar), with a standby line and no booking. Meeting him is covered by your ticket. Character meals are the only part you pay for.
294 Where can you meet Minnie at Disneyland Paris?
In Disneyland Park, she usually greets guests at Videopolis (Discoveryland), where you can get a photo, a hug, and her autograph. Her spot may move with the seasons, so confirm it in the official app that day.
295 How do you find out when and where Minnie is meeting guests?
Open the official Disneyland Paris app on the day of your visit: it shows which character is scheduled, the location, and the times. Meet and greets can be changed or dropped without notice, so the app is the most reliable source.
296 Do you need a reservation to meet Stitch?
It depends on how things are set up at the time: some meet and greets are walk-up, while others require booking a time slot in the app. Check how it works that day in the Disneyland Paris app as soon as you arrive.
297 Stitch Live!: is it a meet and greet with Stitch?
No. Stitch Live! is an interactive show: Stitch talks with the audience through a giant screen. It’s a long-distance conversation, so there’s no hug or close-up photo. If you want to actually meet him, go to his meet and greet spot in Disneyland Park.
298 Do hotel character meets cost extra?
No. Meet and greets at your hotel are included in your stay at no extra charge. Only character meals cost extra, and they’re booked separately.
299 When during the day do characters appear at the hotel?
Usually in the morning and late in the day, in the lobby or near the front desk, at the quietest times. Times vary by hotel and season: check the app that morning or ask at the front desk.
300 How many official Disney Princesses are there?
There are 13 official Disney Princesses: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Moana, and Raya. The first is Snow White (1937) and the most recent to join is Raya. The lineup has held steady at 13.
301 Does Disney Premier Access cost extra?
Yes, you pay for it, and in return you get a separate line at selected rides. It took over from FastPass, a free system that’s now gone.
302 Do kids need their own Premier Access?
Yes. Everyone over 3 needs their own to use the dedicated line.
303 Can you get a refund on Premier Access?
No. Neither One nor Ultimate can be refunded or exchanged, and both are tied to a named guest. Double-check the height requirement before buying a One for a child.
304 Does Single Rider require a reservation?
No. You can’t book Single Rider. You simply show up at the Single Rider entrance at the ride, with no app or kiosk involved. That sets it apart from Premier Access, which you book and pay for in the app.
305 Are Disneyland Paris shows something you pay extra for?
No. All the indoor shows are free and included in your park ticket. Guaranteed Access is a paid option whose only purpose is to reserve a seat on busy days.
306 How do you book Guaranteed Access?
Through the Disneyland Paris app, in the Buy tab, or in the park on the day itself. Choose your show, date, and time slot, then check out. Each ticket carries a guest’s name.
307 What are the 2 parks at Disneyland Paris?
There are two parks at Disneyland Paris: Disneyland Park, the main one with the castle, and Disney Adventure World, known as Walt Disney Studios until its renaming on March 29, 2026.
308 Is the pregnancy wristband free?
Yes. The wristband, often called the Thumper wristband, is free. Just show a photo ID and a medical certificate confirming your pregnancy, issued less than 3 months ago and signed by a doctor.
309 What’s the best trimester to visit Disneyland Paris while pregnant?
The second trimester (months 4 to 6) is the most comfortable: you have more energy and handle getting around better. The first trimester is tricky, and the third is more tiring. Ask your doctor before you come.
310 Can you cancel a Disneyland Paris vacation for free?
Yes, most of the time. With flexible terms (the most common ones), you can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before your arrival. After that, the standard cancellation fee schedule applies.
311 How many days ahead can you cancel for free?
On flexible terms, you have until 7 days before your arrival date. Say you arrive on the 8th: free cancellation runs until midnight on the 1st. These time limits can change, so look at your booking confirmation.
312 Is the Disneyland Paris Wi-Fi free?
Yes. Disneyland Paris offers a Wi-Fi network that’s free and open to all guests, with no charge and no time limit for the day.
313 What’s the difference between PhotoPass and PhotoPass+?
With PhotoPass, you pay per photo or video, starting at €15 a picture, no bundle required. PhotoPass+ costs €90 as a bundle and lets you download every photo AND video from your visit, with no limit.
314 Is admission free for kids under 3?
Yes, kids under 3 get into both parks free, based on their age on the day of the visit, with no ticket or formalities needed. Have something that proves their age in case you’re asked. Ages 3 to 11 inclusive pay the child price, and from 12 on, it’s the adult price.
315 Is Lineberty free?
Yes. Reserving a slot with Lineberty is free of charge. The only thing you pay for is what you’re there to buy (a key, a pin), at the price shown.
316 Should you book a one-day ticket in advance?
Yes, it’s highly recommended. Dated tickets are almost always cheaper when booked ahead than at the last minute, because prices are dynamic, and some dates can sell out. If you’re planning late, the Bon Plan ticket (between 60 and 90 days ahead) offers a discounted price on certain low-crowd dates.
317 Is there Wi-Fi at the Disney hotels?
Yes. The Disney hotels have their own free Wi-Fi, separate from the park network. You connect the same way, through the hotel’s network.
318 Does 4G or 5G work well inside the park?
Not always. Because the park is so crowded, cell towers quickly get overwhelmed at the busiest times. The park’s Wi-Fi tends to be more dependable for the app or for sharing your photos.
319 What’s the tourist tax at each Disney hotel?
It’s charged per adult and per night, and the amount varies with the hotel’s category: from €3.25 at the Santa Fe up to €11.38 at Disneyland Hotel. See the table above for every hotel, current for 2026.
320 How do you get a Magic Shot at Disneyland Paris?
Ask a PhotoPass photographer in the park. Magic Shots aren’t available at every photo spot, and what’s offered varies by day. Look for a photographer in a beige T-shirt with the PhotoPass logo and the little Magic Shot sign, check whether one is available at that location, hold the pose you’re shown, then pick up the photo in your PhotoPass account. You’ll only see the effect once the photo has been uploaded.
321 How much is the kennel at Disneyland Paris?
Daytime boarding costs €25 per animal, water and food included. Overnight boarding is also available, at the same €25 per animal: day and night count as two separate periods, so plan on double for a full 24 hours.
322 The app isn’t working: what can you do?
First, make sure it’s up to date in the App Store or Google Play. Then close and reopen the app, or restart your phone. If the screen stays frozen, switch between the Disneyland Wi-Fi and 4G/5G depending on which works better, and sign back in to your Disney account if you were logged out.
323 Can you bring a stroller on the rides?
No. Strollers aren’t allowed in the lines or on the rides. You leave yours in the stroller parking area outside each attraction, then grab it on your way out.
324 What are the Baby Care Center’s hours?
The Baby Care Center is open during park hours, from opening in the morning to closing at night. So you can use it all day long, with no restricted time slots.
325 Can you see both nighttime shows on the same night?
No. The two shows run at the same time, at closing in each of their parks, which are separate: so you can’t see both on the same night, even with a 2-park ticket. The easiest option is to see one per night if you’re staying several days, or to decide ahead of time which one you’d rather see.
326 How many companions can go with the Priority Card?
The card covers the cardholder and up to 4 companions on rides (including at least one adult), and 2 companions at shows and parades. Kids under 3 don’t count toward that total and come along free. Don’t confuse this with the 25% ticket discount, which only applies to the person concerned and one companion.
327 How long is the Priority Card valid?
It lasts as long as your booked stay. Disneyland Pass members who apply in person at the Annual Passport desk get a card that’s valid for as long as their Pass. If your stay is moved to new dates or canceled, you have to submit a new request.
328 Does the Easy Access Card let you skip the line?
No. The Easy Access Card isn’t a line-skipping pass. At the ride entrance, you’re given a return time based on the current wait. You spend that time elsewhere, then come back at the time shown and board through a dedicated entrance. Your access is delayed, not immediate, and you can only hold one return time at a time.
329 How many companions does the Easy Access Card allow?
The cardholder can bring up to 4 people along on rides. Kids under 3 count as companions. If the cardholder doesn’t ride, their companions use the main line.
330 Does a temporary disability qualify you for a card?
No. A short-term condition like a broken leg doesn’t qualify you for any card, Easy Access or Priority. If your mobility is temporarily reduced, it’s better to postpone your visit if you can, or plan for wheelchair rental at the park entrance.
331 How do the sensory ratings for rides work?
Each ride is rated from 1 to 4 on several scales: 1 means low stimulation, 4 means very high stimulation. The main scales are noise, darkness, and motion, backed up by icons (visual or smell stimulation, surprise effects, strobe lights, splashes). These ratings are a guide only and were assessed with autism (ASD) experts.
332 How do you book a premium viewing area?
Your simplest option is the official Disneyland Paris app. Book a few weeks out, because the number of spots is limited. Log in with your ticket or your Pass, pick the show and the date, and pay. Entry is tied to your name.
333 When does the parade take place, and how often does it run?
Disney Stars on Parade runs a single time each day, generally late in the afternoon (earlier at some times of year). The route goes from Fantasyland to Town Square and takes about 33 minutes. Since the time shifts from day to day, look it up in the official app the morning you visit.
334 Is the paid premium viewing area worth it?
It’s most worthwhile for an occasional visit or a first trip, when you want to see a nighttime show without waiting for ages. For parades, I find it less necessary, since a good free spot is often easy to find just a few minutes before. Watch out: at Disneyland Park (Tales of Magic), you can’t see the projections on the Main Street buildings from the paid zone. You never have to buy it, because the shows are free and come with your ticket.
335 How do you get home after the July 14 fireworks?
The crowd pours out all at once and the RER A (Paris commuter train) gets packed, so check when the last train to Paris leaves, and expect a slow exit from the parking lot. Staying the night on site is the most comfortable way to avoid the late rush.
336 What was Disney Illuminations?
It was a nighttime show lasting roughly 20 minutes, projected onto Sleeping Beauty Castle. Mickey acted as host on a trip through the great Disney movies, with a mix of projections, lasers, fountains, fireworks, and music.
337 Is Disney Illuminations still running at Disneyland Paris?
No. Disney Illuminations is no longer performed: its last show took place on January 9, 2025. You can only watch it again in archive videos. The current nighttime show at Disneyland Park is Disney Tales of Magic, projected onto the castle since January 10, 2025.
338 What’s the height requirement for Space Mountain (Hyperspace Mountain) at Disneyland Paris?
Space Mountain, as it used to be called, is now Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain. You need to be at least 1.20 m tall to ride, and it’s located in Disneyland Park (Discoveryland). Riders are measured at the entrance, shoes included.
339 Is height measured with or without shoes?
Height is measured with shoes on, at the entrance of each ride that has a requirement. However, buns, headbands, and caps don’t count. The signs and measuring bars on site have the final say, and the rule has no exceptions, not even for one centimeter.
340 If my child is too short, can I still go on the ride without lining up a second time?
Yes, with Rider Switch, which is free. A parent goes on the ride while the other stays with the child, then you trade places, and the second parent doesn’t have to line up all over again.
341 Are there roller coasters with a loop at Disneyland Paris?
Yes. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril features an open-air loop that flips you fully upside down. Hyperspace Mountain and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force also turn you over, but in darkness. Across the two parks, these three are the main rides with inversions.
342 What’s the budget for a couple’s trip to Disneyland Paris?
Count on several hundred euros for two people, depending on where you stay and what you add (check the figures when you book). Lodging takes the largest share: the fanciest hotels add up quickly, while partner hotels are easier on the wallet. Then come tickets, Premier Access if you want it, and food: a gourmet dinner at La Table de Lumière is a serious expense for a couple.
343 Which Disney hotels have a water slide?
Two Disney hotels have a water slide in their pool: Sequoia Lodge (Quarry Pool) and Davy Crockett Ranch (Blue Springs Pool). They’re the two best choices if a fun pool is your main priority.
344 Is there a spa where two people can unwind together at Disneyland Paris?
Yes. The Clarins spa at Disneyland Hotel offers treatments, duo treatments included, in a calm setting. Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel also has a wellness area (sauna, steam room). Book your treatment ahead, especially at busy times, and schedule it mid-stay to recharge between two park days.
345 How much does a Club room at the Disneyland Hotel cost?
Prices aren’t published and vary by season and offer. The only sure thing is the order: standard, then Deluxe, then Castle Club, the most expensive. To get a price for your dates, you need to submit a booking request.
346 Which Disneyland Paris hotels have Club rooms?
Four Disney hotels offer Club rooms: Disneyland Hotel (Castle Club), Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel (Empire State Club), Disney Newport Bay Club (Compass Club), and Disney Sequoia Lodge (Golden Forest Club).
347 Is the outdoor pool open in winter?
No. The outdoor pools close during the cold season. In winter, only the covered indoor pools are open. The outdoor sections reopen when the warm weather returns, depending on conditions.
348 Which Disney hotels don’t have a pool?
Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Hotel Santa Fe have no pool. They’re the two most affordable Disney hotels. Their guests can’t use another Disney hotel’s pool.
349 Which ride at Disneyland Paris lasts the longest?
In terms of running time, the full trip around the park on the Disneyland Railroad wins, at about twenty minutes, followed by the Thunder Mesa Riverboat cruise (roughly 15 minutes). Of the big ride-through adventures, Pirates of the Caribbean lasts longest, a little over 10 minutes, narrowly beating it’s a small world (roughly 9 minutes).
350 Rainy day at Disneyland Paris: which rides should you pick?
Go for covered rides: Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom Manor, and Ratatouille are all indoors. The Disneyland Railroad also makes a good dry break between showers.
351 At what age can kids go on rides at Disneyland Paris?
Once your child can sit up without help, typically between 6 and 9 months, most gentle rides are possible with you right beside them. Most of them have no height requirement at all. Until your child walks, favor boat rides and carousels, where you can keep them snug against you. By age 2 or 3, nearly every gentle ride is fair game.
352 Is the paper map of Disneyland Paris free?
Yes, every guest can get the paper map for free, no purchase required. Copies are handed out at City Hall (Disneyland Park) and at Studio Services (Disney Adventure World).
353 Can you rent a mobility scooter and take it on the shuttles?
The park doesn’t rent mobility scooters or power wheelchairs: you need to go through an outside rental company and book before your trip. Be aware that power wheelchairs and scooters aren’t allowed on the hotel shuttle buses (only manual wheelchairs are). And inside the park, the scooter doesn’t go through the line: you park it in the designated areas before each ride.
354 How can you get as close as possible to the parks if walking is hard for you?
By car, there’s a dedicated accessible parking area (Winnie parking, behind Disneyland Hotel, a reserved space with a daily code), plus a drop-off zone to let the person out as close as possible. The Indigo parking garage at Disney Village is often closer and cheaper than the main parking lot. See also the main parking, the shuttles, and the RER.
355 Which rides have no height requirement at Disneyland Paris?
Most gentle rides have no minimum height at all: carousels, boat rides such as "it’s a small world," the Disneyland Railroad, the vehicles on Main Street, and Pirates of the Caribbean too. A handful of gentle rides set a low height limit. My height requirements guide covers all the details.
356 Which rides are best for seniors?
For seniors, my picks are the rides where you can sit back without any effort: the Disneyland Railroad (the train that loops around the park), the Riverboat, the old-fashioned Main Street vehicles, and also Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom Manor, and "it’s a small world." They’re restful rides, many of them under a roof, with gorgeous sets and not much time on your feet in line.
357 Which rides won’t scare kids?
Gentle rides are built to avoid nasty surprises: no drops and no loud bangs. The most reassuring ones are "it’s a small world," the Carrousel, Dumbo, Casey Jr., and Le Pays des Contes de Fées. Peter Pan’s Flight and Snow White include a few dark scenes, so decide depending on how sensitive your child is.
358 What happened to Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster with Aerosmith?
It wasn’t removed: it was reworked. The coaster got a complete new theme and reopened in 2022 as Avengers Assemble: Flight Force. The ride structure hasn’t changed, only the Aerosmith look is gone.
359 Is the map available in French?
Yes. You can pick up the paper map in several languages, French and English among them. The PDF you can download here is the French version.
360 How do you get an interactive map on your phone?
Download the official Disneyland Paris app (free on iOS and Android): it offers a 3D map, location tracking, wait times, and showtimes. Battery rental stations are available at the entrance of both parks.
361 How late can you get on rides?
The line closes at park closing time, but if you’re already in line before then, you’ll still ride even if you board afterward. It’s a great time to save the big rides for the end of the day and do them with almost no wait.
362 Is breakfast with the princesses included, and with which Club?
Breakfast with the princesses is only for Castle Club guests at the Disneyland Hotel. It comes included, adults get a complimentary glass of champagne, and which princesses show up can change from one day to the next. In the other Club lounges (Empire State Club, Compass Club, Golden Forest Club), and with a Deluxe room (the upper room tier at the Disneyland Hotel), breakfast is included as a buffet, but without characters.
363 How does Castle Club differ from a Deluxe room at the Disneyland Hotel?
Castle Club gives you everything Deluxe does, then adds breakfast with the princesses, champagne, a lounge looking out on the Castle (nighttime show and fireworks), a private elevator into the park, dedicated floors, and suites. The rooms themselves are the same at both levels.
364 Deluxe or Castle Club: which one should you pick?
It comes down to what matters most to you. Deluxe is plenty if you mainly want a private lounge, plus breakfast and an afternoon snack included in a quiet setting. Castle Club is for those who want breakfast with the princesses, the view of the Castle, the private elevator into the park, or a suite.
365 Which hotels don’t offer Club rooms?
Disney Hotel Cheyenne, Disney Hotel Santa Fe, and Disney Davy Crockett Ranch have no Club rooms. Neither do any of the Partner Hotels or the hotels in Val d’Europe.
366 How do you book your way into the Disneyland Hotel?
Book one of the hotel’s services ahead of time: a table at a restaurant, a treatment at the Clarins spa, the Mon Rêve Royal experience, or a meeting room. Bookings go through official Disneyland Paris channels (the website, the app, or the restaurants’ phone line).
367 Can you go in just to see the store or have a drink?
No, not without a booking. Since November 2025, the store and the bar have been open only to hotel guests and to visitors who have booked one of the hotel’s services.
368 Is there childcare at the Disneyland Paris hotels?
Yes, at the Disneyland Hotel, with the Royal Kid Club. It’s free daytime childcare for kids ages 4 through 11, with supervised activities, for up to 2 hours a day.
369 Is it possible to use a Disney hotel’s activities if you’re not staying there?
Partly. The stores and some restaurants are usually open to non-guests, but the pool, childcare, and most supervised activities are for hotel guests only. At the Disneyland Hotel, there are ways in, and I explain them all in the dedicated article.
370 Do you have to pay for the Discovery Quest?
Yes, the Discovery Quest costs nothing at all. It’s an activity included for Disney hotel guests, with no extra charge and no booking. All you need is a phone to scan the QR code on the navigation map.
371 Which park has Stitch?
You meet Stitch at Disneyland Park, the one with the castle. The Stitch Live! show, on the other hand, is in the second park, Disney Adventure World.
372 Which rides have a Single Rider line at Disneyland Paris?
At Disneyland Park, mainly Hyperspace Mountain. At Disney Adventure World, Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure and Flight Force in Avengers Campus, plus Ratatouille in Worlds of Pixar (Crush’s Coaster offers it too). The list changes, so always check the app on the day you visit. You’ll find the full, up-to-date details in my Single Rider article.
373 Where do Woody and Jessie meet guests at Disneyland Paris?
There are two ways to meet them. At Barrel of Monkeys, right in Toy Story Playland (Disney Adventure World), you just get in line on the spot, no booking needed. A Toy Story character is waiting for you there, usually Woody. Jessie meets guests without a booking next to Crush’s Coaster. In the morning, one of the two also greets visitors in the lobby of Disney Hotel Cheyenne, which is open to everyone. The meet and greet is free and included with your ticket.
374 Is it possible to meet the princesses during the parade?
No, not really. During the parade, one float is devoted to the princesses and you watch them go by, but it isn’t a real meet and greet: no close-up photo, no autograph, no hug. It’s handy for catching a glimpse of them without a booking.
375 Is it really possible to meet Stitch at Disneyland Paris?
Yes. Stitch is among the characters who pose for photos and give hugs. His spot and schedule move around a lot, so once your ticket is scanned, open the Disneyland Paris app to see if he’s out today.
376 Do you have to reserve a spot to meet Darth Vader?
Most of the time, yes: you get in through a virtual queue that you book in the app. The way it works has changed now and then, so the safe move is still to check the app on the day you visit. Everything is explained in the virtual queue guide.
377 Do you need to book character meet and greets at the hotels?
It depends on the hotel. At the Disneyland Hotel (princesses, royal meet and greets) and at Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel (superheroes), you book them in the Disneyland Paris app. At the other hotels, the daily meet and greet is included, no booking needed.
378 Is Darth Vader still around in 2026?
The Darth Vader meet and greet at Star Port runs year-round. Since the schedule can change, the easiest thing is to check the Disneyland Paris app on the day you visit.
379 Where does Darth Vader meet guests at Disneyland Paris?
At Star Port, a building in Discoveryland (Disneyland Park), right next to the Star Tours ride. It’s where you meet the Star Wars characters.
380 Which Star Wars characters are there to meet?
Day to day, mostly Darth Vader, with Chewbacca sometimes stepping in for him. Other characters such as Rey show up depending on the schedule, especially on Star Wars Day in May.
381 Where do the princesses meet guests at Disneyland Paris?
Princesses have their own dedicated spot, the Princess Pavilion, inside Disneyland Park. They also appear in the parade, or at a themed meal like Auberge de Cendrillon. My guide to meeting the princesses at Disneyland Paris walks you through how it all works.
382 Can you actually get married at Disneyland Paris?
Yes. The Resort hosts ceremonies and receptions through its Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings program, with a team of dedicated coordinators. Disney handles the whole event, from the ceremony to the reception.
383 Do Elsa and Anna count as Disney princesses?
No. Elsa and Anna are part of Frozen, a franchise Disney runs apart from its Disney Princess line. People often point to another reason too: over the course of the story Elsa is crowned queen, and queens sit outside the princess lineup.
384 Is Disneyland Paris safe if you go alone?
Yes. The park is fenced, monitored, busy, and well lit, so it’s considered safe, including for women visiting alone. A few simple habits are enough: keep your bag zipped when crowds are heavy to deter pickpockets, stick to the main paths in the evening, and stay alert on the RER (Paris commuter train) at night.
385 Are there Disney princes to meet at Disneyland Paris?
Only once in a while. You may run into some princes during special events, but they aren’t part of the regular meet and greets. Take a look at my articles on meeting the princesses and on character meet and greets in the park.
386 Can you get PhotoPass photos when you’re on your own?
Yes, and it’s a real perk of going solo. The PhotoPass photographers are happy to shoot guests on their own, so you can bring home great photos of yourself in the park instead of settling for arm’s-length selfies.
387 How is Single Rider different from Premier Access?
With Single Rider, you pay nothing, there’s no time slot, and you board by yourself. With Premier Access, you pay, pick a time slot, and ride alongside your group. One saves time at no cost, the other locks in a ride while your group stays together.
388 What exactly is Disney VIP Tours at Disneyland Paris?
It’s a high-end service: a private, tailored tour of the parks led by a dedicated guide for the whole visit (6 hours minimum). You get no-wait access to the rides, reserved spots for the shows, and priority meet and greets with the characters.
389 Is the Single Rider line really faster?
Often, yes, especially at peak times: on Crush’s Coaster or Ratatouille, I usually save 20 to 30 minutes compared with the standby line. But not always. On quiet days, the gap shrinks or even flips, and the Single Rider line itself can get busy. Check the posted wait times before you pick your line. If you’re traveling alone or don’t mind splitting up for a moment, it’s the most effective free tool for making the most of your day.
390 Can you do Disneyland Paris in one day?
One day is enough to discover a single park, not both. With a well-planned day, you can see the big rides, a show, and get a feel for one park. For a first visit, go with Disneyland Park.
391 Can you stay with your group in the Single Rider line?
While waiting, yes, the whole group stands in line side by side. Once boarding, no: each rider gets placed alone in whatever seat is free. Everyone rides the same attraction, just in different vehicles.
392 Which shows offer Guaranteed Access?
Guaranteed Access covers certain indoor shows at Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World. The current list is in this article. Outdoor shows come under the reserved viewing area instead.
393 How early should you get there before the show?
Head to the dedicated line about 30 minutes before your booked time. If you’re late, you can be turned away with no compensation.
394 With kids, how many days should you plan at Disneyland Paris?
Plan on two days at least to avoid rushing around, and three is better with a baby or toddlers, so naps fit in and the pace stays easy.
395 Is spending three days at Disneyland Paris too much?
No, especially as a family or if you want to see it all at an easy pace. Three days or more let you ride your favorites again, take breaks, and enjoy the hotel without any stress.
396 Is a park ticket required to ride PanoraMagique?
No. Anyone can walk into Disney Village for free, and PanoraMagique sells its own tickets. Taking the flight doesn’t require park admission.
397 Where is the Disney Village movie theater?
The movie theater sits in Disney Village, right next to the World of Disney store. The Village is open to everyone, free of charge, at Disneyland Paris.
398 What are the Disney Village movie theater’s hours?
The theater usually has showtimes from 10:30 in the morning to 22:30 at night. Times vary with the movies showing and the season.
399 What’s the difference between IMAX, 4DX, and a regular screen?
A regular screen means a standard 2D showing. IMAX gives you a giant screen, a very sharp picture, and surround sound. 4DX adds moving seats, wind, water, and scents, often with movies in 3D.
400 Can you watch a movie in its original English version at Disney Village?
Yes. Most movies are shown dubbed in French (VF), but some Disney and Marvel blockbusters regularly play in VOSTFR (original version with French subtitles). Check the format of the showtime when you book.
401 Do you need to book PanoraMagique ahead of time?
No, there’s no booking. You buy tickets right on the spot, at the foot of the balloon in Disney Village. Since flights depend on the weather (wind above all), the safest bet is to show up and make sure the balloon is flying that day.
402 Does Disneyland Paris check bags at the entrance?
Yes, every bag is checked at the park entrances: it gets opened and inspected, often along with a walk through a metal detector. The setup feels a lot like an airport. A banned item may not be let in, and you’ll then have to leave it in luggage storage or leave it behind. Get there a little early to cut down the wait.
403 Is it possible to do both parks in one day?
Yes, with a 1-day 2-park ticket, or if you stay at a Disney hotel (your tickets then cover both). With a 1-day 1-park ticket, you get one park for the day.
404 Where are the nighttime shows held?
Each park has its own: Disney Tales of Magic in front of the castle at Disneyland Park, and Disney Cascade of Lights on Adventure Bay lake at Disney Adventure World.
405 Do both parks have thrill rides?
Yes. At Disneyland Park: Hyperspace Mountain and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril. At Disney Adventure World: Crush’s Coaster, Tower of Terror, and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force.
406 Is the birthday button free?
Yes. The birthday button is free and can be personalized with your first name. So is the sticker. Both are available to every age, adults included.
407 Where do you pick up the birthday button?
All you have to do is ask, at City Hall (Disneyland Park), Studio Services (guest services at Disney Adventure World), or the concierge desk of your Disney hotel. When the parks run out of buttons, hotel concierges tend to be the surest bet.
408 How long before park opening does Extra Magic Time start?
Usually about an hour before official opening. The exact time depends on the season and the day, so check today’s park hours.
409 Will Mickey really call on your birthday?
Yes, if you ask at City Hall. The call is free and offered in several languages, depending on what’s available that day.
410 Can you use your annual pass discount on a meal plan?
No, for arrivals up to March 31, 2027. Meal plans aren’t eligible for annual pass discounts or shareholder discounts. For arrivals from April 2027 on, the official guide doesn’t say. Meal plans can also only be booked together with a hotel stay.
411 Does the meal plan include character meals?
If you arrive by March 31, 2027, character meals come included only with Extra Plus (one meal per stay) and Premium (as many as your coupons cover). Standard and Plus don’t include them, though you can trade in a coupon and pay a supplement. If you arrive on or after April 1, 2027, the Royal option is the only one covering character lunches and dinners, and it’s limited to Disneyland Hotel guests. With Essential, Extra, or Signature, booking them is still possible, you just pay the difference.
412 For a day at Disneyland Paris, when should you get there?
Get there at least 30 minutes before official opening. That gives you time to clear security, scan your ticket, and be in place at the entrance as soon as the gates open. The first few minutes pay off the most: the headline rides show very short wait times then, sometimes none at all.
413 Does Disneyland Paris close when it’s windy?
No. Disneyland Paris stays open in strong winds, and the vast majority of rides are indoors, so they run as usual. Outdoor entertainment is hit first, especially parades and evening shows. Check the day’s schedule before planning your evening.
414 Which rides close because of wind at Disneyland Paris?
There’s no set list. Open-air, lightweight rides can be paused, but the call is made on site, in the moment, based on actual safety conditions. No wind thresholds are published ahead of time. The good news: most rides are housed in a building and don’t depend on the wind.
415 Why do the umbrellas vanish from the patios when it’s very windy?
For safety: an umbrella or a light shelter catches the wind like a sail and can blow away. So when the wind picks up, they all get put away. It’s the change you’ll notice most during the day, since they’re used a lot on restaurant patios and in the lines for character meet and greets. You eat and wait out in the open, so go for indoor seating and indoor meet and greets.
416 Does the wristband let you ride everything?
No. Wearing it doesn’t override any safety rule. Lots of thrill rides stay off-limits for pregnant guests because of over-the-shoulder restraints, jolts, and abrupt braking. Others come with a warning against riding.
417 How early do you need to get there?
Plan on being there 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes ahead. The show draws a bigger crowd every year, and the good spots facing the castle go fast.
418 Is a medical certificate required to visit while pregnant?
No, you can visit the parks without one. But you do need a medical certificate confirming your pregnancy to get the free priority wristband, so remember to bring it if you want one.
419 Does a room-only stay get you into the parks?
No. A room-only stay gives you no park access at all. To get in, you need a valid Disneyland Pass or a dated ticket bought separately.
420 Can you stay at a Disney hotel without park tickets?
Yes, that’s exactly what a room-only stay is. You book a night at a Disney hotel and pay only for the room, with no park ticket.
421 Is breakfast included with a room-only stay?
No. Breakfast is never included. You can add it for an extra charge or choose a half-board meal plan. See meal plans.
422 Which rides should you not skip on your first visit to Disneyland Paris?
For a first visit, at Disneyland Park I go for Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Phantom Manor, and at Disney Adventure World for Ratatouille : L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, Crush’s Coaster, Frozen Ever After, and Tower of Terror. Do Crush’s Coaster right at opening, since it has the longest line. Add Peter Pan’s Flight and it’s a small world if you’re with family.
423 How does booking a room-only stay work?
Anyone can book by phone through the official reservations center at +33 9 69 32 60 61. Disneyland Pass members can also book online in My Account, under My Disneyland Passes. Booking.com is another option.
424 Which rides can you do in the rain at Disneyland Paris?
Stick to covered rides: Pirates of the Caribbean, Phantom Manor, Peter Pan’s Flight, it’s a small world, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, or Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. At Disney Adventure World (the second park), Ratatouille, Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror keep you dry as well.
425 Which gentle rides work with young kids?
With young kids, aim for rides with no big thrills and, most of the time, no height requirement: it’s a small world, Le Pays des Contes de Fées, Le Carrousel de Lancelot, Dumbo, Casey Jr., Peter Pan’s Flight, the Disneyland Railroad, and Ratatouille. No drops, no sudden scares, and you stay right beside your child.
426 Does it cost anything to get a lost item back?
No, picking it up in person is free. Bring proof of ID or a precise description to the lost and found office. Only shipping by mail costs money, with postage that varies by item and destination.
427 Dropped something on a ride? Here’s what to do
Report it to the ride staff and to the lost and found office. Keep in mind that on some rides, the tracks can only be checked after closing, at the end of the day. So a dropped item may not turn up until that evening.
428 At what point should you download the app?
A few days before your trip. That leaves you time to set up your account, link your tickets, and add the members of your party (up to 6 people) without any rush. Arrival day, standing at the entrance, is never the right moment.
429 Which thrill rides can my child do based on height (1 m, 1.02 m, 1.20 m)?
From 81 cm (with an adult): Autopia riding as a passenger, plus Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. From 1.02 m: Big Thunder Mountain, Star Tours, and Tower of Terror. 1.07 m unlocks Crush’s Coaster. 1.20 m opens up Hyperspace Mountain, Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, and RC Racer. 1.40 m is needed for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril. Cast Members measure kids right at the ride entrance, with their shoes on.
430 Booked directly with Disneyland Paris? Here’s how to cancel
Through the Customer Relations Center: the phone number on your confirmation, a letter to the Customer Relations address (listed on your confirmation and on the official website), or the website’s contact form.
431 What are the independence questionnaire and the colored sticker on the card for?
When you arrive, you fill out an independence questionnaire with a Cast Member. It sets your level of independence, shown by a colored sticker on your Priority Card, so evacuation measures can be adapted. Access to each ride then depends on how your level of independence matches up with that ride’s own boarding, unloading, and evacuation conditions. The sticker system is official. The colors give you a sense of your level of independence, but access is always decided by how they match each ride’s own conditions, so rely on the Accessibility Maps and on Cast Members.
432 How is Premier Access One different from Ultimate?
One gets you a single ride on one attraction, at an assigned time slot. Ultimate gets you one ride on every eligible attraction during the day, with no time slot, once each. You buy One ride by ride, and Ultimate as a day pass, depending on availability.
433 How do cancellation fees vary depending on how far ahead you cancel?
Here’s the idea: with a flexible booking, canceling is free as long as you’re more than 7 days from arrival. After that, fees go up as the date gets closer, until the stay often becomes nonrefundable in the very last days. The exact amounts depend on your offer and are listed on your confirmation.
434 Does the park close during a heat wave?
No. Disneyland Paris stays open in hot weather. Only some outdoor rides may close temporarily for safety during the most extreme spells, and the nighttime shows run in a scaled-back version. The vast majority of the park operates normally, and close to 80% of the rides are under cover.
435 Which rides close when it gets too hot?
Just outdoor rides, and only in the hottest spells. Examples include Big Thunder Mountain, Dumbo, Autopia, Casey Jr., Orbitron, Indiana Jones, or RC Racer over at Disney Adventure World (the second park). Each closure is a safety call made case by case. Rides under a roof keep running.
436 How do I cancel if I booked through a travel agency or a site such as Booking?
You need to go through that seller, not Disneyland Paris. Their terms are the ones that apply, often less flexible and sometimes nonrefundable. Read their terms of sale.
437 Is there an area set aside for guests with reduced mobility?
Yes. There’s a dedicated area for guests with reduced mobility, and it’s often made bigger on July 14 to meet the heavy demand. You get in by showing your Disney Priority Card.
438 Are the access card and the 25% discount linked, or do you need both?
No, they’re two separate systems. The access card (Priority or Easy Access) sets how you go through the lines. The 25% discount applies to the price of tickets and the Disneyland Pass. You can have one without the other, and you apply for each separately.
439 Is parking free for guests with disabilities?
No, parking costs the same for everyone, with no special exemption. There is, however, a parking area closer to the entrance, available when you show a disabled parking permit. Details on access and prices are in parking.
440 What age can you get face painting at Disneyland Paris?
Face painting is available from age 3, with no upper age limit. From there, the service is open to everyone, kids and adults alike.
441 Does face painting at Disneyland Paris require a reservation?
No, you don’t need a booking. You buy the design you’ve picked at the store next to the booth, you get a ticket, and then you hand it in at the face painting booth.
442 Where are the face painting booths at Disneyland Paris?
There’s one at Disneyland Park, behind the castle close to the candy shop Confiserie des 3 Fées, and another at Disney Adventure World, at the entrance to World Premiere. The World of Frozen land has its own booth too, and seasonal booths open depending on the events going on.
443 What does Single Rider mean, and which rides offer it?
Single Rider is a free line, included with your ticket, that seats you on your own to fill an empty seat. It’s offered on some rides, mostly at Disney Adventure World (Crush’s Coaster, RC Racer, Avengers Flight Force…) and a few at Disneyland Park (Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril). The list changes, so check the app on the day you visit. Since you ride alone, it doesn’t suit young kids who need to stay with an adult.
444 Does Disneyland Paris have fireworks every night, and do they cost extra?
Yes. Since March 29, 2026, each park has had a nighttime show every evening, included with your ticket: Disney Tales of Magic at Disneyland Park and Disney Cascade of Lights at Disney Adventure World. Only a reserved viewing area costs extra, as an option.
445 Is summer really too hot for a visit?
Not most of the time. In July and August, afternoons average around 25°C, with only a few days a month above 30°C. It’s during real heat waves that afternoons can top 35°C. If that happens, save outdoor things for early morning and the evening, and indoor ones for the hottest hours.
446 Is the evening show canceled if it rains or gets windy?
Rarely. In strong wind or a thunderstorm, the show is usually adjusted (drones or fireworks pulled) rather than canceled. Light rain generally doesn’t stop it. The drones in Cascade of Lights are the most sensitive to wind. Check the day’s schedule on the evening of your visit.
447 Is PhotoPass+ worth it?
The bundle pays off when you expect to take lots of pictures, meet characters, or spend several days on site. If it’s a short visit with only a few shots, paying per photo from €15 does the job.
448 How early should you arrive to get a good spot for the evening show?
It depends on where you want to stand. Allow 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes for the foot of the castle and 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes for Central Plaza. Near the show control booth (the little green house in front of Casey’s Corner), plan on 30 to 45 minutes. For Main Street, U.S.A. or the park entrance, count on 15 to 45 minutes. For Cascade of Lights, by the lake, 30 to 45 minutes is usually enough. On busy days, get there at least 45 minutes ahead.
449 What can City Hall help you with?
It’s where you get practical information, help with bookings and purchases if the app isn’t working, free birthday and name badges, accessibility information, directions for lost items, and a chance to thank a Cast Member.
450 Are tickets more expensive on July 14?
Yes. July 14 is one of the three big dates of the year, along with October 31 and December 31. A dated ticket for that day costs more than on most other days. Also note that the undated ticket isn’t valid on July 14. Check the date you have in mind when you book.
451 Does City Hall cost anything, or do you need a ticket to go in?
No. Once you’re inside the park, City Hall and Studio Services are open to you. You don’t need an extra ticket or a booking to walk up to the counter.
452 Do the birthday badges cost anything?
No. Both the birthday badge and the kids’ first-name badge come free. Simply ask guest services for one.
