Disneyland Paris restaurants and menus

Disneyland Paris restaurants and menus compared, straight talk

Restaurants in the parks, at Disney Village, and in the Disney hotels: I cover most of them. Here’s my guide to where to eat at Disneyland Paris, sorted by budget, the atmosphere you’re after, and your needs (kids, allergies, characters).

How to choose

The right restaurant for your situation

Where you eat at Disneyland Paris sets the pace of your day and your budget. Over 2 days as a family, "dining" can make up 20 to 30% of the total bill. Better to make the right calls before you arrive.

I’ve split the restaurants into 4 categories: table service (book 60 days ahead, the full experience), all-you-can-eat buffets (families, big eaters), quick-service snacks (a fast lunch on the go), and character meals (Disney Princesses, Mickey and friends). Most of the time, here’s what I recommend: quick snacks at lunch, then a table-service or buffet dinner in the evening.

Table service, buffet, snacks, or character meals: the 4 types of restaurants

Category 1Table service

Table-service restaurants give you the full experience: a host to greet you, a server, and structured set menus (appetizer, main course, dessert). Budget at least €25/person. Book exactly 60 days ahead, or 365 days ahead if you’re staying at an official Disney hotel. Ideal for evenings, couples, and special occasions. A few standouts: Bistrot Chez Rémy, Walts, Captain Jack’s.

Category 2All-you-can-eat buffets

All-you-can-eat buffets work especially well for families and big appetites. Budget at least €35/person. Some offer both a lunch and a dinner option. Standouts: Agrabah Café, Plaza Gardens, PYM Kitchen.

Category 3Snacks and quick service

Ideal for a quick lunch on the go, no reservation needed. Burgers, pizza, hot dogs, salads, ramen. Budget at least €15/person. You’ll find them in every land (Café Hyperion, Casey’s Corner, Cool Post, Pizzeria Bella Notte). Takeout or eat-in.

Category 4Dining with the characters

Picture dinner with the Disney Princesses at Auberge de Cendrillon or Regal View Restaurant, or a meal with Mickey at Royal Banquet. Plan on €80/person at the very least. Booking exactly 60 days out is a must: during French school vacation, the slots are gone within 5 minutes.

When should you book your Disney restaurant?

For popular table-service restaurants, the rule is simple: exactly 60 days ahead through the Disneyland Paris app or the official website. Auberge de Cendrillon and Bistrot Chez Rémy sometimes fill up in minutes, especially during French school vacation. Guests at official Disney hotels get a head start: 365 days ahead.

3 tips to keep your dining budget in check

Over 2 days for a family of 4, "dining" can easily reach €200 to €450. To bring the bill down: go for snacks at lunch and a table-service dinner in the evening, order the kids’ menus, skip à la carte drinks (free still water), and use the Disneyland Pass discount of 10 to 15% depending on your pass type.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions, my answers

The questions that land most often in my emails and DMs. Answers with real numbers, double-checked and tested on site.

01 What does a meal at Disneyland Paris cost?

It depends a lot on the kind of restaurant. Roughly speaking (prices change over time), budget around €15-25 per adult at a quick-service spot (€), €30-50 at a standard table-service restaurant (€€), and €60 or more at premium buffets and signature restaurants (€€€ and €€€€). Some real examples: the Agrabah Café buffet costs €45 for adults / €25 for kids, Cape Cod €45 / €25, La Cantina €35 / €20. Character dining like Auberge de Cendrillon runs €60-95 per adult. Snacks such as ice cream, waffles, or churros cost €5-10. Treat these ranges as estimates and check each restaurant’s menu for the exact price.

02 Where can you find cheap eats in the Disneyland Paris parks?

To keep costs down, stick to the quick-service counters rated €. Casey’s Corner serves hot dogs on Main Street, Café Hyperion offers burgers and nuggets in Discoveryland, Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost has pizza by the slice in Adventureland, and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland is still a good deal. Over at Disney Adventure World, Stark Factory and Super Diner remain affordable. Tip: Mobile Order in the app also lets you order at some counters without waiting in line. And for a little snack, a waffle, churros, or ice cream for €5-10 hits the spot.

03 How early can I make a Disneyland Paris restaurant reservation?

The booking window depends on where you’re staying. If you’re at a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed. That’s a real advantage for very popular restaurants like Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can reserve through the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website, or by phone at +33 1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book the moment the window opens for character dining and for weekend evenings or French school vacation evenings, or the time slots go fast.

04 Is it still possible to get a table the same day with no reservation?

Yes, it’s possible but not guaranteed. Some restaurants run a "walk-in line" depending on the seats that open up during the day. Go to the restaurant’s host stand and ask whether they have room. The app also shows time slots as they free up in real time (last-minute cancellations), and I check it often when I’m after a last-minute table. Otherwise, fall back on the quick-service counters and snack stands, which never require a reservation. Tip: eating lunch at off-peak times (before 12:00 or after 14:00) greatly improves your chances of getting a table without a reservation.

05 How does a character meal (character dining) work?

You book a restaurant where characters stop by your table during the meal. Each visit comes with a photo and an autograph. Booking is highly recommended, sometimes several weeks ahead. You’ll find prices and the full list in my Restaurants FAQ and in my dedicated article.
