Cookies

Why this site sets no tracking cookies, how I count visitors without following you around, and what booking links actually do.

Last updated:

I don’t use or set any cookies. No tracking, no banner to click, nothing to accept. You came here to plan your visit or your vacation at Disneyland Paris, not to have every move you make online followed. All I look at, anonymously and without cookies, is which pages are useful to you, so I can make the site better. That’s it.

A cookie is a small file saved on your device while you browse. It can be used, for example, to remember a choice you made or to count how many people visit a website.

How do I count visitors without following you?

To find out which pages help you, I measure traffic anonymously and without cookies, using a tool I host myself. Your data never goes to any other service.

Your device keeps only your light or dark display preference and, if you made a choice in the language banner, the language you picked. Neither is a cookie, and neither can track where you go.

What about booking links?

Booking links go through an affiliate platform (mainly TradeDoubler) before landing on the official Disneyland Paris website. An attribution cookie may be set at the moment you click, on their domains, but never on julieears.com while you’re simply browsing. The Affiliate disclosure page explains how it all works.

Nothing to accept, nothing to decline

Because nothing here is designed to track you, you have nothing to accept and nothing to turn down. There’s no cookie banner and no consent window popping up while you read. Just start browsing, freely.

Your display and language preferences sit in your browser’s storage, and you can of course clear or manage them yourself in the browser settings.
