Disneyland Paris accessibility: access card and support services
Planning a Disneyland Paris visit with a disability takes a few specific steps: applying online for the Priority Card, checking the restrictions for each type of disability, finding the support services, and locating the priority lines.
Your questions, my answers
The questions that land most often in my emails and DMs. Answers with real numbers, double-checked and tested on site.
01 Are there viewing areas for guests with reduced mobility at the nighttime shows?
Yes, each park has a viewing area for guests with reduced mobility, open to holders of the Disney priority card. The guest concerned can bring up to two companions. Ask at the park entrance or at City Hall for the exact location on the day itself.
02 What proof is accepted for a disability (PSH) ticket at Disneyland Paris?
To get the 25% discounted price, you need to show one of these documents, currently valid: the CMI (France’s official disability card) marked for disability or priority, the European parking card for people with disabilities, an MDPH or MDA notice confirming the disability, or a certificate of military disability pension. Important: the RQTH (France’s recognition of disabled worker status) on its own isn’t accepted for this price. Also remember to bring a valid photo ID to the park entrance.
03 What’s the difference between the Priority Card and the Easy Access Card?
Disneyland Paris offers two separate cards. The Priority Card is for guests with a recognized disability (the CMI, France’s official disability card, a French invalidity card, or an MDPH decision from the French disability office): it gives priority access through a dedicated line and covers rides, shows, parades, Character meet-and-greets, and the registers at restaurants and stores. The Easy Access Card is for guests with one of the 30 recognized long-term conditions (ALD, a long-term condition recognized by the French health system): it doesn’t skip the line but works by appointment (a Cast Member gives you a return time), and it applies to rides and Character meet-and-greets. So the right card depends on your medical situation and the proof you can show. Full details are in the Priority Card and the Easy Access Card.
04 Where and when should I buy a disability (PSH/PMR) ticket for Disneyland Paris?
The disability ticket (PSH/PMR) is bought online and in advance, on the official Disneyland Paris website or through the dedicated disability phone line. At the park gates, buying it on the day is only possible if you pay in cash, with French vacation vouchers, or with a gift card, and if there’s still availability that day: the discount is then applied when you show your valid proof. I wouldn’t count on it, since the park can sell out and the standard price is used as the base, often higher than online. So plan your booking ahead with your proof (CMI, MDPH notice, etc.) and keep it safe: you’ll be asked for it at the entrance, along with a photo ID.
05 How and where can I collect my Priority Card at Disneyland Paris?
You have two options. Option 1 (recommended), online: you fill in the dedicated form on the official Disneyland Paris website in several steps (checking your disability documents, entering your visit date, a questionnaire about how independent you are, your contact details, and uploading a digital ID photo), then you get a confirmation email. On the day, you simply pick up your card at City Hall (Disneyland Park), at Studio Services (Disney Adventure World), or at the concierge desk of your Disney hotel. Option 2 (not the best choice), everything on site at City Hall, Studio Services, or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk: you can do it all on the day with your proof and an ID photo, but the process takes noticeably longer, so I don’t recommend it. Important: your card is valid for 6 days. If you postpone or cancel your trip, you’ll need to submit a new request with the new date. Have your digital ID photo and your proof (the valid original) ready before you start.
