At a glance
Pride Lands is the upcoming Disney Adventure World land devoted to The Lion King, the first anywhere in the world built around the 1994 movie. It will sit on the shore of the Adventure Bay lake, right next to World of Frozen.
The land will be centered on Pride Rock, with an announced height of 37 meters. Its headline ride will combine a water journey with next-generation Audio-Animatronics: a trip down through the movie’s iconic scenes, set to its songs, ending with three drops, one of them 16 meters. Character meet and greets, plus a themed restaurant and store, will round it all out.
The land is meant to bring guests into the Pride Lands: you follow Simba’s adventures, from the caves beneath Pride Rock all the way to the savanna.

Where the inspiration comes from
The world’s first land devoted to The Lion King, with nothing like it in any other Disney park. Its water ride follows in the tradition of Disney’s log flume rides.
