At a glance

Performed at Studio D, Minnie’s Dream Factory runs roughly 25 minutes on stage. Director Susan Plyer built this version around Minnie Mouse, who steps into the spotlight as the Factory’s caring boss.

The story kicks off when the magiscope, the show’s iconic dream machine, starts up again. Minnie leads her crew: Donald handles the technical side, Daisy brings the energy, and Chip ’n’ Dale are the comic duo. When the machine goes haywire, everyone has to work together to turn guests’ dreams into magic. The show explores teamwork, self-confidence, and imagination.

The staging leans toward a full stage musical, with singing, dancing, comedy, and more audience participation. The soundtrack is made up almost entirely of Disney Channel classics rearranged by Alexandre Vidal: "The Other Side of Me" from Hannah Montana, "Finally Me" and "Don’t Look Down" from Austin & Ally, "Better Together" from Descendants, "Shake It Up," and "Just Like a Butterfly" from Camp Minnie, framed by the original anthem "The Power of All of Us" by John Kavanaugh, previously released on Disney Junior Music: Dance Party! The Album. The French Sign Language performers, once limited to special performances, are now fully part of the staging.

Tiphaine Bonin redesigned the sets, which feature new lighting, costumes for the characters and the cast redesigned at Disneyland Paris, and iconic special effects such as the dream bubbles (a signature of the previous version, kept for continuity), along with brand-new surprises. Over 800 hopefuls auditioned in Paris for the 14 performers who made the cut, after rounds of solo singing, dance, vocal harmonies, and improv.

The show replaces Disney Junior Dream Factory, which played for six seasons in the same theater.

What sets it apart

100% live vocals over rearranged Disney Channel hits. No lip-syncing here: the cast sings live at every performance, in French and in English. Kids often walk out humming the chorus.

History

The stage at Studio D, in World Premiere Plaza, has long hosted shows for young audiences, including Disney Junior Live on Stage! and later Disney Junior Dream Factory, which ran there from 2021 until it went on hiatus in September 2024. The space was then reworked. Minnie’s Dream Factory gave its first performances on February 7, 2026, opening a new chapter for live musical entertainment in this part of the park.

The Disney Live Entertainment teams kept the industrial look of the earlier set but shifted the storyline toward Minnie Mouse and her talents. The stage itself sits on the same foundations, yet the engineering was reworked so the characters can make better entrances. The staging now weaves in street dance numbers and rearranged musical scores, which give the performance plenty of energy.

Theme & world

Minnie’s Dream Factory centers on the theme "believe in your dreams," with Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Chip ’n’ Dale running a huge dream factory. This reworked version follows Disney Junior Dream Factory and features Disney Channel covers plus an original anthem, all sung live on stage.

My verdict

I really love how fresh and high-energy this show feels. The live vocal performances give the production real character and keep it from becoming just another kids’ show. It’s a polished piece of theater, one of my favorites among the indoor shows, and as a bonus you get a proper break in comfortable seats.

The theater is large, which keeps disappointment to a minimum, but on busy days the outdoor line often means showing up at least 30 minutes before showtime. My tip: sit in the upper half of the seating. You’ll take in the whole stage without having to turn your head the entire time.

Your questions about this show

01 Which stage shows are playing at Disneyland Paris in 2026?

In 2026, 7 major stage shows are on the schedule: Mickey’s PhilharMagic, The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands, Animation Academy, Mickey and the Magician, Minnie’s Dream Factory, Stitch Live!, and TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure. They play in air-conditioned theaters at Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, with several performances a day.

02 Is a reservation required for theater shows?

No. Theater shows cost nothing extra and come with your ticket, using the regular standby line. Guaranteed Access, roughly €15, is an optional add-on: you skip some waiting and are sure to get a seat, even when the show is full.

03 Can shows and parades be canceled?

Yes. In bad weather (strong winds, thunderstorms, steady rain), nighttime shows can be canceled with no notice and no replacement. Parades sometimes are too. Check the status that day in the Disneyland Paris app.

04 How can you check the day’s schedule for shows and parades?

In the Disneyland Paris app (under Today in the Park) or on my blog. Showtimes change every day depending on the season and crowds, so I recommend checking that same morning.

05 Are shows and parades included with your ticket?

Yes, all daytime shows, parades, and nighttime shows (Disney Tales of Magic and Disney Cascade of Lights) are included in the ticket price, in the free viewing areas. The only optional extras are the paid premium viewing spot (a reserved spot closer to the stage) and Guaranteed Access to a theater show, both sold in the Disneyland Paris app.
