At a glance

Staged at the Studio Theater, TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure runs roughly 30 minutes. Its hero is Charlie, a young music lover whose dream is to lead the orchestra at his school’s year-end gala. On the eve of the concert, a sudden blast of wind sends his treasured sheet music flying. Once he drifts off to sleep, the Pixar toys he loves most (Toy Story’s Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear) wake up and head out to recover the pages, now scattered through one Pixar world after another.

The journey carries the audience through five worlds: Toy Story, Coco (with Miguel), Up (Carl Fredricksen and Russell), Monsters, Inc. (Mike Wazowski and Sulley in the Monstropolis factory), and Finding Nemo (Marlin, Nemo, and Dory). Over 30 performers and Pixar characters move across the stage, along with a live orchestra playing an original score woven together with the iconic songs from the movies.

The production mixes cutting-edge technology with classic stagecraft: puppets, live dancers and singers, full-size moving sets, giant LED screens, contemporary choreography, inventive lighting effects, and multisensory touches, with water droplets sprayed into the theater and scents released throughout the show. While you wait in line, an activity called "The Pixar Challenge" keeps guests busy.

What sets it apart

A symphony orchestra playing live, plus scents and water droplets: the theater changes with every Pixar world. Toy Story, Coco, Up, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo follow one another on stage, with over 30 performers.

History

The Studio Theater stands for the big indoor shows of the second park. It was home to the CinéMagique film from 2002 to 2017, then to Marvel Super Heroes United. After a long temporary closure, TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure opened on July 15, 2023 as the grand finale of Disneyland Paris’s 30th anniversary, bringing large-scale musical productions back to this huge theater. Following a break, the show returned on March 7, 2026, just before the park officially became Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026.

Created by Disney Live Entertainment and directed by Arnaud Feredj (who also directed Disney Notre-Dame de Paris) and Matthieu Robin, the show stands out sharply by pairing a symphony orchestra that’s physically on stage with retractable LED video walls. Detailed video mapping covers the stage and pulls the audience into one animated world after another. Because the orchestra moves around and physical effects reach into the seats, the usual line between the audience and the stage disappears.

Theme & world

The TOGETHER film concert takes guests through five Pixar worlds (Toy Story, Coco, Up, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo) seen through the eyes of Charlie, a music-loving kid who dreams of conducting an orchestra. Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Miguel, Carl Fredricksen, Russell, Mike Wazowski, Sulley, Marlin, Nemo, and Dory take the stage one after another, backed by a live symphony orchestra.

My verdict

Visually, this show is extremely polished, and I find the music played live by the orchestra especially moving. No other Disney park has a multisensory show with an orchestra on stage like this one, and it shows how ambitious the resort’s big productions have become. The sight and sound together are wonderfully immersive.

Keep in mind that you’ll wait standing in line beforehand, and seats go fast on busy weekends. There’s even a paid access option to deal with the demand. My tip: try to sit as close to the center of the theater as you can, so you get the most out of the scents and the musicians’ flawless sound (and even a little surprise that drops from the sky).

Map & getting there

The show takes place in Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park), at the Studio Theater in the World Premiere Plaza area (formerly Production Courtyard), close to the interactive show Stitch Live! You’ll spot the theater by its red and gold Art Deco facade lit up with rows of retro light bulbs. At about 650 m², its stage is the largest ever built at Disneyland Paris.

Your questions about this show

01 Which stage shows are playing at Disneyland Paris in 2026?

In 2026, 7 major stage shows are on the schedule: Mickey’s PhilharMagic, The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands, Animation Academy, Mickey and the Magician, Minnie’s Dream Factory, Stitch Live!, and TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure. They play in air-conditioned theaters at Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, with several performances a day.

02 Is a reservation required for theater shows?

No. Theater shows cost nothing extra and come with your ticket, using the regular standby line. Guaranteed Access, roughly €15, is an optional add-on: you skip some waiting and are sure to get a seat, even when the show is full.

03 Guaranteed Access for €15: what is it, and which shows are eligible?

It’s a paid service that guarantees you a seat in the theater without waiting in line, for €15 per person (one price for everyone ages 3 and up). You book it in the Disneyland Paris app for the eligible shows: The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands, Mickey and the Magician, and TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure. You need a valid park ticket, and it’s in your name. Arrive 15 to 20 minutes early.

04 How can you check the day’s schedule for shows and parades?

In the Disneyland Paris app (under Today in the Park) or on my blog. Showtimes change every day depending on the season and crowds, so I recommend checking that same morning.

05 Are shows and parades included with your ticket?

Yes, all daytime shows, parades, and nighttime shows (Disney Tales of Magic and Disney Cascade of Lights) are included in the ticket price, in the free viewing areas. The only optional extras are the paid premium viewing spot (a reserved spot closer to the stage) and Guaranteed Access to a theater show, both sold in the Disneyland Paris app.
