Disneyland Paris Premier Access: is the paid line-skip worth it?

Disneyland Paris Premier Access is a paid way to skip the line, and it took over from FastPass. There are two options, the price changes daily, and what you want to know is whether it’s worth paying for.

Disney Premier Access is the paid skip-the-line service at Disneyland Paris. It took the place of the old FastPass, which was free. Since FastPass ended, there’s no free way to skip the line anymore, but a few free tricks can still cut your wait.

You can pick from two options: One (a single ride, from €5) and Ultimate (every eligible ride). Prices change each day based on crowds.

Still on the fence? Take my 4-question quiz and find out if Premier Access makes sense for your day.

What is Disney Premier Access?

Disney Premier Access is a paid service. It gets you into a separate line on the most popular rides.

You pay, you go in through a dedicated entrance, and you wait far less than in the standby line.

Disneyland Paris used to offer FastPass. It was a free line-skipping system, discontinued in 2021.

Since then, there’s been no free way to skip the line. Premier Access costs money. Disneyland Paris also sells or includes other services that don’t let you skip the line. This table helps you tell them apart.

ServicePaid?What it’s for
Premier AccessPaidUse a separate, shorter line on one or more rides.
Guaranteed AccessPaidA guaranteed seat at an indoor show, even when it’s full.
Premium viewing areaPaidA roped-off area with a clear view of the parades and the outdoor shows.
Extra Magic TimeIncluded (Disney hotels and Gold Pass)Park gates open roughly an hour early for these guests. It has no link to Premier Access.

Which rides are eligible?

Several rides are eligible for Premier Access, spread across Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World. At Disney Adventure World, the new headliner Frozen Ever After (World of Frozen) is on the list.

Ultimate covers all of them except one: Orbitron, which is available with One only. The list changes regularly, and you’ll find the current version below.

Premier Access One vs. Ultimate

How much does Premier Access cost?

There’s no set price for Premier Access: the cost goes up or down daily with the crowds.

Premier Access One costs between €5 and €23 per ride. Premier Access Ultimate costs between €110 and €230 per person. The One price is set for the whole day: what you see in the morning is what you’ll pay in the evening.

One prices, ride by ride

Lowest and highest prices, tracked automatically every day since June 2026.

How do you buy and use it?

You can buy Ultimate ahead of time (with your tickets or vacation package) or on the day.

One can only be bought on the day. Either way, the easiest route is the Disneyland Paris app. No smartphone? Head to City Hall (Disneyland Park) or Studio Services (Disney Adventure World).

Step 1

Buy your Premier Access

In the Disneyland Paris app or on site. It’s added to your Disney account automatically.

Step 2

Pick the ride

Tap the ride you want in the app, and you’ll get a QR code on screen.

Step 3

Go to the dedicated entrance

Find the Premier Access entrance at the ride and have your QR code scanned there.

Step 4

Show up in your time slot (One)

With One, you’re given a time slot. Arrive during that window. Ultimate has no time slot.

Can Premier Access sell out?

Yes, both One and Ultimate are sold in limited numbers. I’ve never seen Ultimate sold out.

One is a different story: it does run out, above all for the big-name rides as the day goes on. Its availability is checked automatically every 5 minutes.

The usual suspects are Crush’s Coaster, Ratatouille, and Frozen Ever After, typically once it’s past 15:00. In some weeks, One for these rides is gone nearly daily.

If there’s a headline ride you really care about, buy your One in the morning.

Is Premier Access worth it?

Pay for Premier Access when the park is packed and for the headline rides. When crowds are light, you gain next to nothing.

It mostly helps during school breaks and on weekends, on rides where the wait often goes past an hour, like Crush’s Coaster or Peter Pan’s Flight. On a quiet day, or on a ride that loads fast, you won’t wait long anyway.

If it’s your first trip and a short one (1 or 2 days), buying one or two One passes for the headline rides can save you a lot of time.

Once you stay 3 days or longer, there’s room to see it all for free. With a large family, the bill climbs quickly, so pick a few One passes carefully rather than buying Ultimate for the whole group.

My verdict: I save it for really packed days and for rides where the standby line gets discouraging. The rest of the time, a bit of planning is enough.

Ride by ride

Look closer and it really varies from ride to ride. Below are the rides where paying gets you a real time gain, followed by those where your money is better spent elsewhere.

Worth itWhy
Big Thunder MountainA hugely popular coaster, long lines all day.
Peter Pan’s FlightThe busiest dark ride, with long waits nonstop.
Star Wars Hyperspace MountainSkips the whole outdoor line. Single Rider available.
Star ToursThe fast line starts just before boarding.
Buzz Lightyear Laser BlastAverage capacity, the line builds quickly.
AutopiaLow capacity, very popular with families.
Crush’s CoasterOften the longest wait in the park. Single Rider available.
RatatouilleLow to average capacity, a big family favorite. Single Rider available.
Spider-Man W.E.B. AdventureA very popular newer ride, long lines. Single Rider available.
Tower of TerrorVaries by day, mostly when some of the elevators are out of service.
Frozen Ever AfterThe World of Frozen headliner, in high demand. Single Rider available.

The rides where skipping the line really saves time, the ones to target first.

Rarely usefulWhy, and the free alternative
Indiana Jones and the Temple of PerilShort to moderate wait. The free Single Rider line is enough.
it’s a small worldVery high capacity. Come early or go in the evening.
Phantom ManorModerate wait, quietest in the evening.
Pirates of the CaribbeanOften quiet in the evening.
OrbitronQuiet in the evening. Sold as One only.
Avengers Flight ForceLoads fast. The free Single Rider line is enough.
Cars ROAD TRIPUsually not crowded, short wait.
Raiponce Tangled SpinA small spinning ride, the wait stays short.

Here, keep your money: the wait is short or a free trick does the job.

Free alternatives to skipping the line

  • Single Rider a solo line offered on some rides. If you’re fine riding without your group, you board much sooner, and it costs nothing.
  • Get there at opening crowds are lightest early on. Make the big rides your first stops of the day.
  • Aim for quieter times during meals, parades, and the nighttime show, the lines empty out.
  • Pick a quiet day outside school breaks and weekends, the wait is much shorter everywhere.
  • I go over all these tips in my guide to wait times.

My tips

  • Run a price check for your date before you book.
  • Set up your account in the Disneyland Paris app before your visit and link your tickets to it.
  • Check your child’s height before buying a One: it can’t be refunded or exchanged.
  • Check the crowd forecast first. If the day looks quiet, you can likely skip it.
  • Go for the big, popular rides, where the time saved is the most obvious.
  • Buy One early in the day for Frozen Ever After and Ratatouille, since it tends to run out by the afternoon.

Frequently asked questions

01 Does Disney Premier Access cost extra?

Yes, you pay for it, and in return you get a separate line at selected rides. It took over from FastPass, a free system that’s now gone.

02 How is Premier Access One different from Ultimate?

One gets you a single ride on one attraction, at an assigned time slot. Ultimate gets you one ride on every eligible attraction during the day, with no time slot, once each. You buy One ride by ride, and Ultimate as a day pass, depending on availability.

03 Do kids need their own Premier Access?

Yes. Everyone over 3 needs their own to use the dedicated line.

04 Can you get a refund on Premier Access?

No. Neither One nor Ultimate can be refunded or exchanged, and both are tied to a named guest. Double-check the height requirement before buying a One for a child.

05 Is there free skip-the-line access at Disneyland Paris?

No, there hasn’t been any free line-skipping since FastPass was discontinued in 2021. Today, Premier Access is the only way to cut your wait, and you have to pay for it. There are still free ways to save time: arrive at opening, head to the big rides first, use Single Rider where it’s available, and ride during a parade or a show, when the lines get shorter.

06 Is Premier Access worth it for a first visit?

It depends on the day. Premier Access costs extra on top of your ticket, from €5 per ride and per use, and the price climbs on busy days. On crowded days (French school vacations, weekends, Halloween and Christmas seasons) and on the big rides where the wait often tops an hour, it’s worth it for one or two high-demand rides. On a quiet day, you don’t need it: if you arrive at opening and follow a logical touring order, you’ll wait very little without paying anything. You buy it in the official app, on the day itself for the One. The Ultimate can also be bought ahead of time. All the details are in my Premier Access guide.
