At a glance
La Table de Lumière is the fine-dining restaurant at the Disneyland Hotel, the 5-star hotel standing at the entrance to Disneyland Paris. It opened with the hotel’s full renovation. The concept pairs high-end French cuisine with a Beauty and the Beast theme.
The room takes its cue from the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles, with chandeliers, mirrors, elegant furniture, and an Enchanted Rose in the middle of every table. At the center of the room, an animated statue shows Belle and the Beast dancing.
There’s one fixed-price menu with table service: an amuse-bouche, an appetizer, a main course, a dessert, and petits fours, all built around refined French cooking. A champagne option is available. The experience includes Disney royal couples visiting your table (Belle, Ariel, Tiana, Snow White, and Aurora, each with her prince), who take time to chat with diners. Five couples take turns: three are there at every meal, and the lineup changes each day. The service is personal, in the style of top restaurants.
Dinner with Disney royal couples. The Disneyland Hotel’s signature restaurant, inspired by Beauty and the Beast: three royal couples (out of five who rotate) come by to greet each table in exclusive costumes. Refined French food in a salon setting with animated candelabras.

The most popular tables go fast, often several weeks ahead: I recommend booking as soon as your dates are set. Also look at the menu before you go, so you’ll know right away whether this restaurant appeals to you and won’t waste time once you’re there.

History
La Table de Lumière opened on January 25, 2024, replacing California Grill, which ran from 1992 to 2021, after the Disneyland Hotel’s complete transformation.
The renovation completely reworked the old California-style dining room to recreate the hall of mirrors in the Beast’s castle from Beauty and the Beast. It became an exclusive fine-dining spot where royal couples join you for the meal.

My verdict
La Table de Lumière is the Disneyland Hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, with a Beauty and the Beast theme inspired by the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. What sets it apart is the lavish setting and getting to meet Disney royal couples right at your table, something you won’t find anywhere else in the resort.
I haven’t tried this restaurant yet. My take is based on my own research and on what friends and fellow Disney fans have told me. Opened in 2024, it serves a fixed-price upscale French menu for €120 per adult and €60 per child, with a chance to meet the princes and princesses. People rave about the decor and the very attentive service, but opinions on the food are mixed, reservations are hard to get, and there are no à la carte dishes. Above all, it’s a high-end character meet and greet.
I recommend it for a special-occasion dinner and for princess fans ready to splurge. It’s less of a fit if you expect Michelin-level food or want to stick to a reasonable budget.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 Which restaurants at Disneyland Paris let you dine with Disney characters?
Five restaurants at Disneyland Paris offer character meet and greets. In Disneyland Park, there’s Plaza Gardens Restaurant on Main Street (all-you-can-eat buffet with Mickey, Minnie, and Donald, currently closed for renovation until 2027) and the Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland (table service with the Princesses). Since March 2026, Regal View Restaurant & Lounge has been open in Disney Adventure World, with a Princess buffet. At the hotels, Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumière at the Disneyland Hotel also offer meet and greets. For the details, check the Hotels section of the FAQ.
02 What does a character meal cost, and how can you reserve it?
Character meals cost between €50 and €120 per adult, depending on the restaurant. Plaza Gardens is around €50-80 (closed for renovation until 2027), the Auberge de Cendrillon runs between €60 and €95, and Regal View Restaurant falls in the same range. At the hotels, Royal Banquet costs about €100 per adult and La Table de Lumière €120. These prices come from the official Disneyland Paris website and may change. In particular, they go up during special events like Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve. To book, use the official mobile app or the Disneyland Paris website, or call +33 1 60 30 40 50.
03 How can I reserve a table at one of the Disneyland Paris restaurants?
There are four ways to book. The easiest is still the official Disneyland Paris app ("Dining" section), signed in to your Disney account. You can also call the reservation line at +33 1 60 30 40 50, use the official website through the Dining menu, or book in person at City Hall, Studio Services, or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk. Before you decide, I suggest you download my free file by email, which gathers every Disneyland Paris restaurant menu in one place. It makes choosing so much easier.
04 How early can I make a Disneyland Paris restaurant reservation?
The booking window depends on where you’re staying. If you’re at a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed. That’s a real advantage for very popular restaurants like Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can reserve through the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website, or by phone at +33 1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book the moment the window opens for character dining and for weekend evenings or French school vacation evenings, or the time slots go fast.
05 Is it still possible to get a table the same day with no reservation?
Yes, it’s possible but not guaranteed. Some restaurants run a "walk-in line" depending on the seats that open up during the day. Go to the restaurant’s host stand and ask whether they have room. The app also shows time slots as they free up in real time (last-minute cancellations), and I check it often when I’m after a last-minute table. Otherwise, fall back on the quick-service counters and snack stands, which never require a reservation. Tip: eating lunch at off-peak times (before 12:00 or after 14:00) greatly improves your chances of getting a table without a reservation.
