Disneyland Paris Friends Tickets: invite friends at a discount

Friends Tickets are a Disneyland Pass perk: when you hold an active pass, you can buy discounted 1-day 2-park admission tickets for your friends and family. The deal is occasional, opening a few times a year for a limited time and in limited quantities.

A Friends Ticket gets you into both parks on the same day: Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World (which includes World of Frozen). It’s a regular admission ticket, not a pass: it’s for bringing your loved ones along, not for replacing a membership.

This deal follows the former Privilege Ticket, which ended along with the old pass lineup. Disneyland Paris brought it back in late 2023 under this new name and with new terms.

As a Disneyland Pass member since 2016, I buy Friends Tickets every time a window opens so my loved ones can join me at the park. For how the pass works in general, see the complete Disneyland Pass guide.

What you should know before buying:

Limits

up to 5 tickets per day, per transaction, and per pass, with a cap of 20 tickets per pass over the length of the deal. Both caps apply at the same time.

Name-specific tickets

you enter each guest’s first and last name when you buy. Tickets can’t be changed or refunded.

Who qualifies

you need a permanent adult pass that’s currently valid. Every valid adult tier (Bronze One, Bronze Max, Silver, or Gold) can access the deal.

Availability

the deal is subject to availability, in limited quantities.

Online purchase

forget the ticket booths at the park gates, which stopped selling them. The app and the official website are now the only places to get them.

No reselling

tickets are strictly for personal, non-commercial use. Reselling them can get your Disneyland Pass suspended.

Your guests can visit on their own: you don’t need to come along. Their tickets’ QR codes show up in your Disney account, you pass them on, and your friends and family go into the parks by themselves. With the old Privilege Ticket, the passholder had to be there, and that’s the main change.

The price of a Friends Ticket depends on the visit date you choose and on the current deal. In the app, a color code on the calendar shows the price tiers by date: the most popular dates usually cost more.

For exact prices, check the current deal cards higher up on this page. I don’t list any fixed price here, because it changes with every deal.

Either way, a Friends Ticket still costs noticeably less than the dated ticket sold to the general public. The deal quickly becomes worthwhile once you invite several people on the same day. It’s for Disneyland Pass members only.

By default, a Friends Ticket doesn’t include Extra Magic Time (early entry to the parks). There are two exceptions:

• A guest staying at an official Disney hotel does qualify, for instance with a room-only night (a hotel night booked without a park ticket) that you reserved together: see a hotel deal.
• If you’re a Gold passholder, you keep your Extra Magic Time for yourself, but not for your guests on a Friends Ticket.

As for parking: for Bronze or Silver members, access to Disney parking depends on whether your own pass is valid that day, not on the Friends Ticket.

One last handy tip: if your pass is blocked out on a given day, you can’t get in with it. But nothing stops you from buying a Friends Ticket for yourself to get in that day. Be sure to check the dates you want to come: see book your visit dates.

The deal comes back several times a year, with the same terms each window: only the available visit dates and the prices change. The table below sums up the full history of deals offered since launch, to give you an idea of the timing and price ranges from one deal to the next.

Two windows come around each year: one in the off-season, usually from January to March, and a longer one during the warmer months, which can stretch from June to October. These are general patterns, not guaranteed dates.

When a deal is already open (you’ll see it higher up on this page), the next window is usually the following one on this calendar. I don’t announce a specific date until Disneyland Paris makes a new deal official. As soon as it’s confirmed, I add it to the current deal section.

Friends Tickets took over from the old Privilege Ticket, which was dropped when the previous pass lineup ended. What changes for you: as the passholder, you no longer need to come along. Your guests get their QR codes from you and go in on their own. If you’d like to know how the old offer worked, read the article on the Privilege Ticket.

Friends Tickets are for Disneyland Pass members only: without an active pass, you can’t access them. If you visit the park often, the pass can be worth it and opens up this option to invite your loved ones at a discount. To compare tiers and find out whether it pays off for you, see the complete Disneyland Pass guide.
