Disneyland Paris is open 365 days a year. Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) open at 9:30 on quieter days and at 9:00 on the busiest ones (French school vacation, fall weekends, special events). Closing time usually falls between 21:00 and 22:40, but it can be as early as 19:00 on some November evenings and as late as 23:00 on Halloween night. It all comes down to the season, the day of the week, and what events are on.
Since the second park got its new name, the 2 parks keep almost identical hours. Those hours shift all year long, mostly because the evening closing follows the nighttime show, which itself depends on when the sun goes down. The banner above shows today’s hours for each park. For the precise times on the day you visit, the official Disneyland Paris app is still the place to check.
What time does Disneyland Paris open and close?
The 2 parks open at the same time in the morning and close at the same time at night. The banner at the top of this page shows the day’s opening time, closing time, and Extra Magic Time for both Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World.
Exact park hours only come out about 2 months ahead, and they can still be adjusted at the last minute. For tomorrow, for this week, or for the exact day you’re going, always check the official app or the Disneyland Paris website: once your date is set, those are the only sources you can count on.
How do park hours change through the year?
In winter, the parks open later and close earlier. In summer, they open earlier and stay open much later, since the nighttime show only starts once the sun has set. Weekends, French public holidays, and French school vacation also mean longer hours than a regular week.
To give you an idea: in the middle of summer, it gets dark late, so the nighttime show runs in the evening after sunset and closing comes right after. In December, darkness falls early, the show runs much earlier, and the parks close sooner. That sunset logic accounts for most of the changes.
The figures below are typical hours for the 2 parks. Think of them as a guide, not guaranteed times: always check the exact day in the official app.

In practice, expect short days in the off-peak season (January outside school breaks, for example) and long days in peak season (Christmas, July-August, long weekends). If you’re looking for park hours during a specific period like Toussaint (the French fall school break), Christmas, or August, the same rule applies: the busier the period, the later the parks stay open.
Extra Magic Time (get in 1 hour early)
Extra Magic Time (often shortened to EMT) lets you into the park 1 hour before official opening. It’s only for guests staying at Disney hotels and for some annual passholders (depending on the pass level). Only a selection of rides is running during that window, but crowds are very light: it’s the best time to do the big rides with no wait.
The window depends on that day’s opening time, since it always starts 1 hour earlier. The 2 parks both offer Extra Magic Time.

How late can you go on rides?
You can keep riding until the very end of the day: the line closes when the park closes, but if you got in line before then, you’ll still ride, even if you board afterward.
This is the reason the headliners are often last on my list: I slip into the line right before closing and still get to ride.
Most rides, stores, and restaurants stay open for as long as the park does.
Shows, on the other hand, run several times a day at set times, which you’ll find in the app. Some rides may also be closed for refurbishment on the day you visit, so be sure to check ahead of time.

Parking hours
The parking lot opens at 8:00, before the parks do, which comes in handy if you’re aiming for Extra Magic Time. As for leaving, you can get out for as long as Disney Village is open: you can have dinner or stroll around the Village after the parks close, then head back to your car.
However, you can no longer drive into the parking lot about thirty minutes after the last park closes.
During special events or very crowded days, these hours can change: plan your trip back accordingly, especially if you’re staying for the nighttime show.
Disney Village hours
Disney Village is home to stores and restaurants, and it’s free and open to everyone. It opens before the parks in the morning and closes after them at night: its hours often run well past park closing. It’s a convenient spot to make the evening last, grab dinner, or do a bit of shopping once the parks are closed.
As a rough guide, the majority of restaurants keep serving until about 23:00, while a few bars stay open longer, sometimes until 1:00 or even 2:00 on weekends. Exact hours depend on each venue and the time of year, so confirm them once you’re there or on the official website.
Disney hotel hours
Disney hotels are open around the clock for their guests: the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day for anyone staying there, so you can come and go at any time. Check-in is usually from 15:00, and check-out is around 11:00.
Here’s a practical tip many people miss: on the day you arrive, you can enjoy the park before your room is even ready. Drop your bags off at the front desk in the morning and head into the park, Extra Magic Time included, without waiting until 15:00. The same goes for your last day: you still have park access after check-out.
That said, hotel amenities keep their own hours. Stores, restaurants, and the pool aren’t open all night: ask at the front desk or check the app for their times, especially if you plan to eat late or swim in the morning before heading to the park.
Parades and nighttime show
The Disneyland Park parade runs once a day, at a time that changes with the season and special events. At night, each park puts on its own nighttime show at closing time: Disney Tales of Magic at Disneyland Park and Disney Cascade of Lights at Disney Adventure World.

Knowing the hours ahead of time makes a real difference to your day. You can aim for park opening, or even Extra Magic Time if you’re eligible, to do the big rides while things are calm. You’ll also know how long you can stay in the park, what time to grab a spot for the nighttime show, and when to plan your trip back.
Finally, think about the end of the evening: the parking lot closes shortly after the parks, and public transportation runs on its own schedule. Planning for the end of the day saves you long waits on the way out.

Open the official Disneyland Paris app on the morning of your visit: it shows that day’s times for parades, shows, and character meets. In the parks, you’ll also find signs outside the theater entrances and at City Hall.
06 Who’s eligible for Extra Magic Time, and does it require a reservation?
You qualify in three situations: if you’re staying at an official Disney hotel (on your arrival day, throughout your stay, and on your departure day), if you’re staying at Villages Nature Paris with a package that includes it, or if you hold a valid Disneyland Pass Gold. The Bronze One, Bronze Max, and Silver tiers don’t include early entry. There’s nothing to reserve: just show up at the park entrance about an hour before official opening with your MagicPass or your Gold pass. Hotel guests should do their online check-in so they can use it from day one.
