At a glance
This table-service restaurant sits in Frontierland, inside Disneyland Park. Silver Spur Steakhouse takes its name from the silver spur, an iconic piece of cowboy gear, and you can spot one on the building’s facade.
The decor follows the style of an upscale Western saloon: a red and cream wooden facade, a balcony with a railing, a stylized sign, dim lighting, and wood paneling inside. The atmosphere is meant to be more intimate and hushed than at the other restaurants in the land. The dining room is part of the overall Thunder Mesa story, the fictional town it shares with Big Thunder Mountain and Phantom Manor.
The menu centers on grilled dishes and quality meats (especially steaks), along with chicken and fish dishes and options for vegetarian diets.
Thunder Mesa’s hushed steakhouse. This table-service restaurant looks like a luxurious gold rush saloon, with heavy wood paneling. The chefs cook grilled cuts of beef, prime rib, and American specialties in a kitchen that opens onto the dining room. The dim lighting makes for a calm, relaxing meal.

The most popular tables go fast, often several weeks ahead: I recommend booking as soon as your dates are set. Also look at the menu before you go, so you’ll know right away whether this restaurant appeals to you and won’t waste time once you’re there.

History
Opened on April 12, 1992, Silver Spur Steakhouse is the original big table-service restaurant in Frontierland.
It was designed to look like a luxurious private club for the mine owners of the fictional town of Thunder Mesa. Its elegant interior, open kitchen, and murals have never been significantly changed, so the restaurant still fits the land’s original story.

My verdict
Silver Spur Steakhouse is a full-service restaurant in Frontierland specializing in grilled meats, with a hushed saloon atmosphere. What it has going for it is its attentive table service, which is rare for this kind of food in the park.
I ate here in 2024, and the restaurant fits the land’s Western theme really well, with an intimate saloon setting. Plan on around €45 per adult and €25 per child at this spot, open since 1992, and making a reservation is recommended. My only complaint is that I find the dining room a bit dark, and the menu is mostly about meat, with few vegetarian options. The hushed atmosphere is still pleasant for a quiet dinner.
I’d recommend it for meat lovers looking for a relaxed dinner in Frontierland. It’s less of a fit for vegetarians or anyone who prefers a bright dining room.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 How can I reserve a table at one of the Disneyland Paris restaurants?
There are four ways to book. The easiest is still the official Disneyland Paris app ("Dining" section), signed in to your Disney account. You can also call the reservation line at +33 1 60 30 40 50, use the official website through the Dining menu, or book in person at City Hall, Studio Services, or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk. Before you decide, I suggest you download my free file by email, which gathers every Disneyland Paris restaurant menu in one place. It makes choosing so much easier.
02 How early can I make a Disneyland Paris restaurant reservation?
The booking window depends on where you’re staying. If you’re at a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed. That’s a real advantage for very popular restaurants like Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can reserve through the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website, or by phone at +33 1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book the moment the window opens for character dining and for weekend evenings or French school vacation evenings, or the time slots go fast.
03 Is it still possible to get a table the same day with no reservation?
Yes, it’s possible but not guaranteed. Some restaurants run a "walk-in line" depending on the seats that open up during the day. Go to the restaurant’s host stand and ask whether they have room. The app also shows time slots as they free up in real time (last-minute cancellations), and I check it often when I’m after a last-minute table. Otherwise, fall back on the quick-service counters and snack stands, which never require a reservation. Tip: eating lunch at off-peak times (before 12:00 or after 14:00) greatly improves your chances of getting a table without a reservation.
04 How do you cancel a Disney restaurant reservation?
Canceling is easy in the official Disneyland Paris app. Go to "Account > My dining reservations", pick the reservation you want, and confirm the cancellation. You can also cancel by phone at +33 1 60 30 40 50. Cancel as soon as you know you won’t make it: it frees up a spot for other guests and it’s a nice thing to do. Important: you can’t change the time or the number of people in your party directly in the app. If you need a change, you have two options: cancel and make a new reservation (if time slots are still open), or call the reservation line at +33 1 60 30 40 50.
05 When I book, can I request a high chair or a birthday cake, or say I’m using a meal plan?
Yes. When you book (app, phone, or website), you’ll find a "Special Request" field where you can make several requests. You can ask for a high chair for your baby, a birthday cake (at an extra charge), mention a food intolerance or allergy, or let them know you want to use your half-board meal plan. For the birthday cake, I suggest asking right when you book to be sure one is available. If you didn’t, you can also ask when you arrive at the restaurant, and they’ll try to work something out depending on what they have that day.
