At a glance
Tucked behind Sleeping Beauty Castle in Fantasyland (Disneyland Park), the Auberge de Cendrillon is a sit-down restaurant with table service. It takes its cue from the 1950 feature film Cinderella and serves a meal hosted by the Disney Princesses, with the mice Suzy and Perla joining in. During your meal, the princesses make the rounds of the tables to pose for pictures and sign autographs. Only Cinderella is a sure thing. The others may or may not appear.
You’ll find five dining rooms, each with its own size and atmosphere, built to look like the interior of a storybook castle. Look for tapestries depicting moments from the film, pillars crowned with carved mice and birds, a fireplace whose bas-relief shows the pumpkin becoming a coach, and portraits of Cinderella with her Prince. Right by the door sits a full-size copy of Cinderella’s coach.
The food leans French and on the upscale side. Meals are served in the morning (Breakfast with the Princesses), at midday, and in the evening. How many characters you see depends on the sitting: 4 at breakfast, as many as 8 at lunch or dinner. There are vegetarian and vegan choices as well.
Dining with the Disney princesses. Their royal highnesses go from table to table to sign autographs and pose in their official costumes. The decor draws on the animated movie Cinderella, with old tapestries and the large carriage on display in the courtyard. The price includes a traditional French gourmet menu served at your table.

History
Open since April 12, 1992, the day the park opened, the Auberge de Cendrillon is one of the original restaurants in Fantasyland.
Designed from day one for character meet and greets, the restaurant has kept its romantic castle theme inspired by the classic fairy tale. Over the decades, the space has had several technical and decor updates, but it has always kept its name and its purpose: table-service meals in a regal setting.

My verdict
The Auberge de Cendrillon is the most sought-after character dining restaurant in Disneyland Park. It’s devoted to Cinderella, and the Disney Princesses come right to your table. Its strengths are the palace setting and the French menu served at lunch and dinner, which make it a very special place to eat.
I haven’t tried this restaurant yet. My opinion is based on my research and on what I’ve heard from people I know and from Disney fans. Feedback is unanimous in praising the time spent with Cinderella and the princesses and the immersive decor, for a high budget of around €100 per adult and €50 per child on a set menu. Booking is almost essential, ideally 60 days ahead, and tables go fast, especially during French school vacations. Open since 1992, it’s first and foremost a character meal.
I recommend it for families whose kids love princesses, or to celebrate a special occasion. Less suited if food is your top priority, since the concept is still a character meal.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 Which restaurants at Disneyland Paris let you dine with Disney characters?
Five restaurants at Disneyland Paris offer character meet and greets. In Disneyland Park, there’s Plaza Gardens Restaurant on Main Street (all-you-can-eat buffet with Mickey, Minnie, and Donald, currently closed for renovation until 2027) and the Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland (table service with the Princesses). Since March 2026, Regal View Restaurant & Lounge has been open in Disney Adventure World, with a Princess buffet. At the hotels, Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumière at the Disneyland Hotel also offer meet and greets. For the details, check the Hotels section of the FAQ.
02 What does a character meal cost, and how can you reserve it?
Character meals cost between €50 and €120 per adult, depending on the restaurant. Plaza Gardens is around €50-80 (closed for renovation until 2027), the Auberge de Cendrillon runs between €60 and €95, and Regal View Restaurant falls in the same range. At the hotels, Royal Banquet costs about €100 per adult and La Table de Lumière €120. These prices come from the official Disneyland Paris website and may change. In particular, they go up during special events like Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve. To book, use the official mobile app or the Disneyland Paris website, or call +33 1 60 30 40 50.
03 Which characters will you meet at the Auberge de Cendrillon and Plaza Gardens?
At the Auberge de Cendrillon (Fantasyland), you meet the Disney Princesses on rotation: Cinderella of course, but also Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, Merida, Rapunzel, and Tiana. They aren’t all there at the same meal, and the rotation changes from day to day. At Plaza Gardens Restaurant on Main Street, you’ll run into Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh, and other friends at a more laid-back all-you-can-eat buffet (heads-up: the restaurant is currently closed for renovation until 2027). In both places, the characters go from table to table to sign autograph books and pose for photos.
04 How can I reserve a table at one of the Disneyland Paris restaurants?
There are four ways to book. The easiest is still the official Disneyland Paris app ("Dining" section), signed in to your Disney account. You can also call the reservation line at +33 1 60 30 40 50, use the official website through the Dining menu, or book in person at City Hall, Studio Services, or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk. Before you decide, I suggest you download my free file by email, which gathers every Disneyland Paris restaurant menu in one place. It makes choosing so much easier.
05 How early can I make a Disneyland Paris restaurant reservation?
The booking window depends on where you’re staying. If you’re at a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed. That’s a real advantage for very popular restaurants like Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can reserve through the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website, or by phone at +33 1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book the moment the window opens for character dining and for weekend evenings or French school vacation evenings, or the time slots go fast.
