At a glance
Plaza Gardens Restaurant is an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant on Main Street U.S.A., in Disneyland Park. It matches the land’s Victorian style and takes the shape of a large orangery with bright glass roofs.
Outside, it stands out with a richly decorated entrance: carved columns, double wooden doors with decorative stained glass, and a lit sign in retro lettering. Inside, it follows the style of Victorian winter gardens, with a spacious, bright dining room that opens onto the surrounding greenery.
The food is an all-you-can-eat buffet of French and international dishes, with appetizers, meats, fish, vegetables, sides, and a variety of desserts. At breakfast and dinner, the restaurant offers a "Character Dining" experience: about six characters take turns visiting the tables, from a lineup that changes (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Pinocchio, Captain Hook, and more).
All you can eat, 1900 style. This pavilion fills an elegant Victorian glass house where Main Street U.S.A. ends, with a broad spread of international food. Character dining is offered at breakfast and dinner. Mickey, Minnie, and their friends make the rounds from table to table for the whole length of your family’s meal.

History
Plaza Gardens Restaurant opened on April 12, 1992, and is the oldest all-you-can-eat buffet in Disneyland Park. While the park was being developed, the building was supposed to be called Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant, until that name went to another building.
The richly decorated Victorian architecture and the large picture windows facing Central Plaza have come through the years without any change of concept. In 2017, the restaurant added a new character dining experience.

My verdict
Plaza Gardens Restaurant is an all-you-can-eat buffet on Main Street U.S.A., set in an elegant Victorian orangery, with character meet and greets in the evening. What makes it shine is the huge choice of dishes paired with Disney characters coming to your table, perfect for the whole family.
It’s one of my favorite places to eat at Disneyland Paris, and I’ve been several times, most recently with my family and my little one. Plan on around €45 per adult and €25 per child at this 331-seat restaurant, open since 1992, with a varied buffet and visits from lots of characters like Mickey, Minnie, and their friends in the evening. My one small regret is that there’s no view of the castle, and the room gets noisy when it’s full. Booking ahead is strongly recommended, especially in peak season.
I recommend it for families who want a buffet and meet and greets in one meal. It’s less suited to you if you’re looking for peace and quiet or a castle view.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 Which restaurants at Disneyland Paris let you dine with Disney characters?
Five restaurants at Disneyland Paris offer character meet and greets. In Disneyland Park, there’s Plaza Gardens Restaurant on Main Street (all-you-can-eat buffet with Mickey, Minnie, and Donald, currently closed for renovation until 2027) and the Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland (table service with the Princesses). Since March 2026, Regal View Restaurant & Lounge has been open in Disney Adventure World, with a Princess buffet. At the hotels, Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumière at the Disneyland Hotel also offer meet and greets. For the details, check the Hotels section of the FAQ.
02 What does a character meal cost, and how can you reserve it?
Character meals cost between €50 and €120 per adult, depending on the restaurant. Plaza Gardens is around €50-80 (closed for renovation until 2027), the Auberge de Cendrillon runs between €60 and €95, and Regal View Restaurant falls in the same range. At the hotels, Royal Banquet costs about €100 per adult and La Table de Lumière €120. These prices come from the official Disneyland Paris website and may change. In particular, they go up during special events like Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve. To book, use the official mobile app or the Disneyland Paris website, or call +33 1 60 30 40 50.
03 Which characters will you meet at the Auberge de Cendrillon and Plaza Gardens?
At the Auberge de Cendrillon (Fantasyland), you meet the Disney Princesses on rotation: Cinderella of course, but also Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, Merida, Rapunzel, and Tiana. They aren’t all there at the same meal, and the rotation changes from day to day. At Plaza Gardens Restaurant on Main Street, you’ll run into Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh, and other friends at a more laid-back all-you-can-eat buffet (heads-up: the restaurant is currently closed for renovation until 2027). In both places, the characters go from table to table to sign autograph books and pose for photos.
04 How can I reserve a table at one of the Disneyland Paris restaurants?
There are four ways to book. The easiest is still the official Disneyland Paris app ("Dining" section), signed in to your Disney account. You can also call the reservation line at +33 1 60 30 40 50, use the official website through the Dining menu, or book in person at City Hall, Studio Services, or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk. Before you decide, I suggest you download my free file by email, which gathers every Disneyland Paris restaurant menu in one place. It makes choosing so much easier.
05 How early can I make a Disneyland Paris restaurant reservation?
The booking window depends on where you’re staying. If you’re at a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed. That’s a real advantage for very popular restaurants like Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can reserve through the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website, or by phone at +33 1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book the moment the window opens for character dining and for weekend evenings or French school vacation evenings, or the time slots go fast.
