Disneyland Paris meal plans: the complete guide

Disneyland Paris meal plans change for arrivals from 1 April 2027. The new options are called Essential, Extra, Signature and Royal. For arrivals up to 31 March 2027, it’s still half board or full board. Here’s how the meal plans work, what they cost and how to tell whether they’re worth it for your stay.

Disneyland Paris meal plans change for arrivals from 1 April 2027. I’ll start with the new plans, then cover the ones that apply to arrivals up to 31 March 2027.

Booking a stay at a Disney hotel and wondering how the meal plans work? These plans, which some people also call "meal vouchers", can only be booked with a hotel stay. They aren’t available to day visitors.

They let you plan your meals in advance, keep your budget under control and, in some cases, save a little money. I explain everything below, from how they work to whether they’re worth it.

What are the new meal plans from April 2027?

The new meal plans come in four options: Essential, Extra, Signature and Royal. They apply to arrivals from 1 April 2027. What counts is your arrival date, not the date you book. You’ll find the official guide on the meal plans page of the Disneyland Paris website (in French).

With the new plans, the names "half board" and "full board" disappear. Breakfast plus 1 meal per night is the equivalent of half board. Breakfast plus 2 meals per night is the equivalent of full board. But breakfast is booked separately: it isn’t included in the price.

As now, the plan is bought in advance, never on the spot. You put it together in three steps.

Disneyland Paris meal plans: Standard, Plus, Extra Plus and Premium until 31 March 2027, then Essential, Extra, Signature and Royal from 1 April 2027
Step 1

The number of meals

You choose 1 meal per night (lunch or dinner) or 2 meals per night (lunch and dinner). The 2 meals per night are only for Disney hotels. Your vouchers can be used whenever you like, including on the day you leave.

Step 2

The option

Outside the Disneyland Hotel, you choose Essential, Extra or Signature. At the Disneyland Hotel, it’s Signature or Royal. The higher the option, the more restaurants you can choose from.

Step 3

Breakfast, if you want it

It’s no longer included and isn’t compulsory. Booked in advance at your hotel, it costs up to 17% less than on the spot. You can also have it in the parks or at Disney Village, except at the Disneyland Hotel.

What do the Essential, Extra, Signature and Royal options include?

The 4 new options, for arrivals from April 2027, according to the official guide. Each option includes all the restaurants of the one before. Disney hotel restaurants are included at dinner only.

How much do the new meal plans cost?

Here are the prices announced by Disney, per person per night. They’re up to date as of October 2026. A child pays half the adult price.

Breakfast is no longer included in the plan, unlike the current half board and full board. To compare, add the price of breakfast if you’re having it.

An example: 2 adults and 1 child, 3 nights on the Extra option with 2 meals per night. That comes to €600, without breakfast.

Option1 meal per night (adult / child)2 meals per night (adult / child)
Essential€32 / €16€60 / €30

✓: meal included with this option, for arrivals from April 2027. Disney hotel restaurants are included at dinner only. A restaurant may be closed: check its page.

Your voucher is also accepted in the other restaurants in the parks and Disney hotels. If the meal costs more than your voucher, you pay the difference. At Disney Village, some restaurants don’t accept vouchers. These include McDonald’s, The Royal Pub, Starbucks, Earl of Sandwich, Five Guys, Brasserie Rosalie, Casa Giulia and Vapiano.

In table-service restaurants, the voucher covers a set menu chosen from a selection. This set menu includes at least a starter and a main course, or a main course and a dessert. In buffet restaurants, it covers the all-you-can-eat buffet and a soft drink. In quick-service restaurants, it’s a main course, a side and a soft drink. The kids’ menu adds a dessert.

I’d recommend booking your tables as soon as your stay is confirmed, on the app or the official website. If you’re staying at a partner hotel, you can book them up to 2 months ahead.

Is character dining included from April 2027?

Only the Royal option includes character lunches and dinners. It’s only for Disneyland Hotel guests, who can also choose Signature. With Royal, each meal voucher can be used for a character lunch or dinner. It covers four restaurants: Auberge de Cendrillon, The Regal View Restaurant, Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumière.

With Essential, Extra or Signature, these meals aren’t included. You can still book them, but you pay the difference.

Character breakfast isn’t included in any option. You can add it for a supplement when you book your stay. That isn’t possible if you’ve chosen breakfast in the parks or at Disney Village. A breakfast voucher from your hotel is also accepted at character breakfast: you pay the difference. Either way, these meals must be booked in advance. I go through everything in my article on character dining.

How do the meal plans work until March 2027?

Whichever plan you choose, it works the same way: the number of meals matches the number of nights booked, and you spread your vouchers across your stay as you like. The three plans fit around how you organise your days and how much time you want to spend on meals.

PlanWhat’s included (per night)
BreakfastA buffet breakfast at your Disney hotel (packed breakfast to take away at the Davy Crockett Ranch)
Half boardBreakfast + one meal (lunch or dinner) at an eligible restaurant
Full boardBreakfast + two meals (lunch and dinner) at eligible restaurants

What each plan includes, per night of your stay

Standard vs Plus vs Extra Plus vs Premium: what’s the difference?

For arrivals up to 31 March 2027, half board and full board come in four options, from Standard to Premium, via Plus and Extra Plus. Breakfast only has no options: it’s a single plan. The option available depends on the hotel you book: the higher the hotel category, the wider the choice of restaurants. From April 2027, these options make way for Essential, Extra, Signature and Royal.

OptionHotelsWhat it includes
StandardDavy Crockett Ranch, Santa FeBreakfast + meals at a selection of restaurants. Available with half board and full board.
PlusCheyenne, Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay Club, New York - The Art of Marvel. Also Davy Crockett Ranch and Santa Fe, but with full board only.Wider choice of restaurants than Standard. Available with half board and full board, except at the Davy Crockett Ranch and Santa Fe (full board only).
Extra PlusAll hotels except the Disneyland HotelFull board only. Includes one character meal per stay, plus an afternoon snack and a drink per night.
PremiumDisneyland Hotel onlyWidest choice of restaurants, character dining included. Available with half board and full board.

The options available by hotel and plan

How to use your meal vouchers at a restaurant

Your meal vouchers are loaded onto your MagicPass (your stay card, given to you at the hotel) when you arrive, on check-in day. At the restaurant, just show your MagicPass at the till to pay for your meal.

Your vouchers aren’t tied to a specific date. You can spread them as you like across your stay, as long as you use the total number before you leave. Nothing stops you, for example, from using two vouchers on the same day.

Good to know: with a meal plan, you can also eat at a non-eligible restaurant by paying the difference between its price and the value of your voucher.

For arrivals from 1 April 2027, it works the same way.

How much do the meal plans cost until March 2027?

For arrivals up to 31 March 2027, the price depends on the plan and option you choose. It ranges from breakfast only (the most affordable) to Premium full board (the most expensive). Here’s the breakdown per person per night. For arrivals from April 2027, see the prices of the new meal plans above instead.

How much does half board cost at Disneyland Paris?

Half board includes breakfast plus one meal per night. The price goes up with the option (Standard, Plus, Premium). The Extra Plus option doesn’t exist with half board. Expect to pay €55 per adult per night for Standard.

OptionAdultChild
Standard€55€35
Plus€65€40
Extra PlusNot availableNot available
Premium€135€75

How much does full board cost at Disneyland Paris?

Full board includes breakfast plus two meals per night. It’s available with all four options, including Extra Plus. Expect to pay €75 per adult per night for Standard, up to €245 for Premium.

OptionAdultChild
Standard€75€45
Plus€115€60
Extra Plus€150€80

Depending on your hotel, you’ll only have access to some of these options (see the options table above). For example, the Premium option is only available at the Disneyland Hotel, and the Extra Plus option at every hotel except that one.

How much does breakfast only cost?

The breakfast-only plan is priced by hotel. Its price is exactly what you’d pay on the spot, so it doesn’t save you anything. That changes for arrivals from April 2027. Booked in advance, breakfast at the hotel then costs up to 17% less than on the spot. To find out more, I go through everything in my guide to breakfast at Disneyland Paris.

Is a meal plan worth it?

It depends on the plan. With breakfast only, there’s no saving: the price is the same as paying on the spot. That changes for arrivals from April 2027. Booked in advance, breakfast at the hotel then costs up to 17% less than on the spot.

With half board and full board, it all depends on which restaurants you choose. They can be worth it if you’re aiming for all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants or table-service restaurants, with full meals: starter, main course and dessert. On the other hand, if you mostly eat at quick-service restaurants or have light meals, the plan can end up costing you more than paying on the spot. Do the same maths with the new meal plans.

My advice: before your trip, look at the menus and prices of the restaurants you’re interested in, then compare the cost with and without a plan. If you’re travelling on a tight budget, also take a look at eating cheaply at Disneyland Paris.

Plus half board, one adult, 2 nights at the Newport Bay Club: €130 against €160 paid on the spot (€30 saved). With two quick-service meals, €34 more
Comparison over 2 nights at the Newport Bay Club: Plus half board plan or the same meals paid on the spot.

My tips to get the most out of your meal plan

  • Find out the prices of the restaurants you’re interested in.
  • Go for all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants or table-service restaurants, which are often more expensive than quick-service ones.
  • Choose the most complete set menu included in your plan.
  • Book your restaurants in advance to be sure of getting a table: I explain how in my guide to booking a restaurant.

Which meal plan is right for you?

The table below applies to arrivals up to 31 March 2027. For arrivals from April 2027, look instead at what each new option includes.

OptionWho is it for?
StandardTight budgets, short stays, simple meals.
PlusFamilies, stays of 2 to 4 days, for a good balance of price and choice.
Extra PlusAnyone who wants a character meal and the afternoon snack included, on full board, and wants to treat themselves at mealtimes.
PremiumAnyone who wants the character dining restaurants and an upmarket stay.

Who each option suits best

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Budget under control: you know in advance how much you’ll spend on meals.
  • Time saved once you’re there.
  • Peace of mind during your stay.
  • Possible savings, depending on your choice of restaurants and set menus.
  • You can eat at a non-eligible restaurant by paying the difference between its price and the value of your voucher.

Cons

  • You need to compare beforehand to make sure the plan is worth it for you.
  • You still need to book your restaurants in advance.
  • Less flexibility if you want to change your plans.
  • Only available with a hotel stay, not with a ticket on its own.

Which restaurants are included in your meal plan until March 2027?

You have breakfast at your Disney hotel. Your voucher is also accepted, up to its value, in some restaurants in the parks and at Disney Village that serve breakfast.

For lunch and dinner, you choose from all the restaurants in the parks (Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World), all the Disney hotel restaurants and a selection of restaurants at Disney Village. Here are the main ones, by category. For the full details, see the best restaurants at Disneyland Paris. For arrivals from April 2027, see the restaurants for the new meal plans above instead.

  • La Cantina (Santa Fe)
  • Chuck Wagon Café (Cheyenne)
  • Cape Cod (Newport Bay Club)
  • Hunter’s Grill and Beaver Creek Tavern (Sequoia Lodge)
  • Downtown Restaurant (New York - The Art of Marvel)
  • La Table de Lumière (Disneyland Hotel, Premium option only) and Royal Banquet (Disneyland Hotel, Premium and Extra Plus options)

Quick-service restaurants and afternoon snacks

Most quick-service restaurants and snack outlets in the parks also accept meal plans, for example Casey’s Corner, Cowboy Cookout Barbecue, Pizzeria Bella Notte or Toad Hall. The Extra Plus afternoon snack can be had at most snack outlets in the park (ice cream stands, pastry shops, cafés) and at some restaurants. The full, up-to-date list is on the official Disneyland Paris website.

Is character dining included?

Character meals are only included with the Extra Plus (one meal per stay) and Premium (as many as your vouchers allow) options. With Standard and Plus, they aren’t included, but you can use a voucher and pay a supplement. They’re served at Auberge de Cendrillon, The Regal View Restaurant, Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumière (the last two at the Disneyland Hotel). For arrivals from April 2027, only the Royal option includes character lunches and dinners. It’s only for Disneyland Hotel guests. I go through everything in my guide to character dining.

Good to know

The guide to the new meal plans, for arrivals from April 2027, doesn’t mention the points below.

  • Meals not used by the end of your stay are lost and aren’t refunded.
  • Meal plans don’t qualify for annual pass or shareholder discounts.
  • There’s no plan for under-3s: they share your plate, or you buy them a meal on the spot.
  • The child price applies to children aged 3 to 11 inclusive.
  • The plan applies to everyone in the room, for the whole stay.
