At a glance
Walt’s - an American restaurant is a table-service restaurant on Main Street U.S.A., in Disneyland Park. It pays tribute to the life and career of Walt Disney, as shown by its fictional address, "1401 Flower Street", a nod to the address of Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale, California.
The outside has an elegant beige Victorian facade, with a turret, carved balconies, green awnings, an oval gilded sign and richly ornate architecture. Inside, spread over two floors, are several themed dining rooms recalling the world of Walt Disney and the spirit of the park’s different lands, with decorative touches such as a telescope on a tripod, crystal chandeliers, murals, dark wood furniture, red seats and heavy drapes.
The menu offers carefully prepared American food, with classic dishes given a new twist (such as chicken pot pie) and more creative dishes. Booking is recommended.
A front-row view of the parade. Set on the first floor of a grand townhouse on Main Street U.S.A., this top-end restaurant has six dining rooms, each themed on one of the park’s lands. The windows give you an unrivalled view of the floats in the daily parade. The menu is refined American cooking, a tribute to Walt Disney.

The most popular tables go fast, often several weeks ahead: I recommend booking as soon as your dates are set. Have a look at the menu before you go too, you’ll know straight away whether this restaurant suits you and you won’t waste time on the spot.

History
Opened on 12 April 1992, Walt’s - an American restaurant is a direct tribute to the company’s founder. Each upstairs room was designed to represent one of the park’s original lands.
This Main Street U.S.A. restaurant has kept the same theme since it opened. After a long closure during the health crisis of the 2020s, the historic restaurant reopened with its heritage concept unchanged.

My verdict
Walt’s - an American restaurant is a full table-service restaurant on Main Street U.S.A., paying tribute to Walt Disney through several themed dining rooms. Its big draw is the setting, steeped in history, with a view over Main Street and the parade.
Hands down my favourite restaurant at Disneyland Paris. Each room takes on the decor of a different land, and I love it! Mementos of Walt and the world of Disneyland are scattered everywhere: it’s really immersive. I’ve eaten here several times and it’s close to my heart for its history, its more or less hidden details and its atmosphere. Expect to pay around €55 per adult and €30 per child in this restaurant, open since 1992. I recommend booking for the time of the parade and asking for an upstairs table on the Main Street side. The only real catch: the dining room fills up quickly at peak times, so book early.
I recommend it wholeheartedly for a carefully prepared, immersive meal with a view of the parade. Less suited to a quick meal or a tight budget.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 How do you book a table at a Disneyland Paris restaurant?
You have four ways to book. The easiest is the official Disneyland Paris app ("Dining" section), from your Disney account. You can also call the booking line on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50, use the official website via the Dining menu or book on site at City Hall, Studio Services or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk. Before you choose, I suggest downloading my free file by email, which brings together all the menus of the Disneyland Paris restaurants. It really helps you make up your mind.
02 How far in advance can you book a restaurant at Disneyland Paris?
It depends on how you’re visiting. If you’re staying in a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed: a real advantage for the most popular restaurants like the Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day, without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can book in the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website or by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book as soon as the window opens for character restaurants and for evenings at weekends or during French school holidays, otherwise the slots disappear fast.
03 Can you still get a table on the day without booking?
Yes, it’s possible but not guaranteed. Some restaurants run a "walk-in queue" depending on the tables freed up during the day. Go to the restaurant’s reception desk and ask if there’s any room left. The mobile app also shows slots that open up in real time (last-minute cancellations), and I check it regularly when I’m after a last-minute table. Otherwise, fall back on the quick-service counters and snack stands, which never need a booking. Tip: eating lunch at an off-peak time (before 12:00 or after 14:00) greatly improves your chances of finding a table without booking.
04 How do I cancel a Disneyland Paris restaurant booking?
You can cancel easily in the official Disneyland Paris mobile app. Go to "Account > My table reservations", select the booking and confirm the cancellation. You can also cancel by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50. Remember to cancel as soon as you know you won’t make it: it frees up a table for other visitors and is a nice thing to do. Important: you can’t change the time or the number of diners directly in the app. If you need to change it, you have two options: cancel and make a new booking (if slots are still available), or call the reservations centre on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50.
05 Can you ask for a high chair or a birthday cake, or mention a meal plan, when booking?
Yes, when you book (app, phone or website), there’s a "Special request" field where you can make several requests. You can mention a high chair for a baby, a birthday cake (at an extra cost) or a food intolerance or allergy. You can also say that you want to use your half-board plan. For the birthday cake, I’d advise mentioning it as soon as you book to be sure one is available. If you didn’t, you can also ask directly when you arrive at the restaurant, and they’ll try to sort something out depending on what they have in stock that day.
