Disneyland Pass Nights: how they work, booking and dates

Every year, a few Disneyland Pass Nights are held as private evenings for active Disneyland Pass holders: a whole park just for you, with brand-new shows and far smaller crowds. I go to them regularly, and here I explain everything you need to know to book, collect your wristband and enjoy the night with no nasty surprises.

What is a Disneyland Pass Night?

A Disneyland Pass Night is an event reserved for holders of an active, valid Disneyland Pass. For one evening, one of the two parks (Disneyland Park or Disney Adventure World, formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) is entirely private: only the members there enjoy the park, which is much less crowded than usual.

These evenings usually have a theme, linked to a season or a current event. On the programme: brand-new shows, rare character meets and exclusive activities you won’t find during the day. They aren’t just late openings, but evenings built around a common thread.

The running order is nearly always the same. Early entry is often from 18:30, but the heart of the programme (opening ceremony and shows) only starts late in the evening, usually around 21:00, and finishes late, at around 2:00 in the morning. During the event, only a selection of rides and restaurants stays open, often around fifteen rides, but with very short queues: it’s the moment to ride your favourites one after another without queuing.

Many of these evenings also offer a fun trail to follow around the park: a treasure hunt, a sticker book to fill in or passwords to find to open secret areas. As for characters, some of the meets are at selfie spots, for a quick photo, with no individual pose or autograph, which keeps queues down on an evening that’s already short.

They aren’t a permanent fixture: Disneyland Paris only holds a few a year. So you’ll need a Disneyland Pass to get in. To understand how the pass itself works, its tiers and what it includes, see the complete Disneyland Pass guide.

Disneyland Paris usually schedules several Disneyland Pass Nights a year, often spread across the seasons (in spring, in September and around the Christmas and New Year holidays). This pattern holds year after year, but nothing is guaranteed: neither the number of nights nor their dates are fixed in advance.

So you don’t miss the next one, keep an eye on Disneyland Paris announcements, especially on its official social media (and in fan news): that’s where a night and its date are revealed. Booking is done from your account: in "My Disneyland Pass", in the "Friends Tickets and Special Events" section, "Special Events" tab, as soon as sales open.

Be ready as soon as tickets go on sale, because places are in high demand and go fast.

How to book a night

Step 1

Check your Disneyland Pass is active

Booking is only open to holders of an active, valid Disneyland Pass. The condition applies at two points: when you book and on the day of the event. If your pass expires in between, you won’t be able to get in.

Step 2

Book as soon as sales open, in "Special Events"

You book from your account: in "My Disneyland Pass", scroll down to the "Friends Tickets and Special Events" section, click "Buy", then open the "Special Events" tab (the same route as for Friends Tickets). That’s where you choose your night, as soon as sales open. I recommend being ready from the first day: these evenings are in high demand and places go fast.

Step 3

Plan ahead, places sell out fast

The number of tickets is limited and demand is high. Keep an eye on the on-sale date so you don’t miss it, as places can sell out within a few hours.

Step 4

Add your guests (up to 2 depending on the night)

You can buy a ticket for one guest, or even two depending on the night. You pay for these tickets, which are added to yours when you book online.

Booking with a disability

Collecting your wristband and getting in

Once you’ve bought your ticket online (or at the desk on the day for the disability rate), there’s one step left before the night: collecting your wristband. It acts as your entry ticket.

The wristband is collected on the day, at the dedicated desks, usually from 12:00. I recommend going early: collection is quick in the early afternoon, much less so when everyone arrives at the same time late in the day. You then keep it on your wrist until the evening.

You get into the night via early entry, usually from 18:30, and the event carries on late into the night, often until 2:00. In practice, your wristband opens the gates of the private park for the whole evening: the shows, character meets, rides and exclusive activities on the programme.

If you’re only coming for the evening, turn up as soon as it opens to make the most of it, because the programme moves quickly.

Wristband or day access: don’t mix them up

Disneyland Pass Nights held so far

Above you’ll find all the nights I’ve been to since the new Disneyland Pass range. For the detailed programme, times and prices of each one, see my year-by-year write-ups: the 2023 nights, the 2024 nights, the 2025 nights and the 2026 nights.

Before the new range, Disneyland Paris was already holding this kind of evening for passholders: between 2018 and 2022, I went to nights such as The Hollywood Tower Hotel 10th Anniversary, a Marvel night, the 25th Anniversary Grand Finale, Mickey’s 90th birthday and the 30th Anniversary night in 2022.

Frequently asked questions

01 Do you need a Disneyland Pass to go to a Disneyland Pass Night?

Yes. These nights are reserved for holders of an active, valid Disneyland Pass, both when you sign up and on the night itself. Without an active pass, you can’t sign up.

02 How do you sign up for a Disneyland Pass Night?

You sign up from "My Disneyland Pass" ("Friends Tickets and Special Events" section, "Special Events" tab), as soon as tickets go on sale. Places are in high demand and go fast: I recommend booking as soon as sales open.

03 Can you bring someone with you to a Disneyland Pass Night?

Yes. Depending on the night, you can buy tickets for the people with you, up to two depending on the night. These companion tickets aren’t free and are bought online at the same time as you sign up.

04 How much does a Disneyland Pass Night cost?

You have to pay for a ticket: €65 per person for the September 2026 night, compared with €59 for the 2024 and 2025 nights. The price changes from one night to the next, and the exact amount is given each time tickets go on sale.

05 What time do you collect your wristband and get into the night?

You collect your wristband on the day, at dedicated ticket desks, usually from 12:00. Early entry to the night is then usually possible from 18:30. I recommend collecting your wristband early to avoid the end-of-day crowds.

06 How is it different from the Halloween party, New Year’s Eve or 14 July?

The Disneyland Pass Night is reserved for pass holders, in a park closed to the public. The Halloween party, the New Year’s Eve party on 31 December and 14 July are public evening events. They’re open to everyone with a dated ticket for that day. Some Pass Nights have a Christmas theme, but they’re still reserved for pass holders.
