At a glance
The Auberge de Cendrillon is a table-service restaurant in Fantasyland, in Disneyland Park, behind Sleeping Beauty Castle. It’s inspired by the film Cinderella (1950) and offers a meal with the Disney Princesses, plus a meet and greet with the mice Suzy and Perla. The princesses go from table to table during the meal for photos and autographs. Apart from Cinderella, no princess is guaranteed to be there.
The restaurant has five dining rooms of different styles and sizes, designed like the inside of a fairy-tale castle: tapestries showing scenes from the film, columns topped with carvings of mice and birds, a fireplace decorated with a bas-relief of the pumpkin turning into a carriage and paintings of Cinderella and the Prince. A life-size replica of Cinderella’s carriage takes pride of place at the entrance.
The menu is French-inspired and fairly upmarket, with service in the morning (Princess Breakfast), at lunch and in the evening. The number of characters depends on the meal: 4 in the morning, up to 8 at lunch and dinner. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
Dining with the Disney Princesses. Their royal highnesses go from table to table to sign autographs and pose for photos in their official costumes. The setting is inspired by the animated film Cinderella, with old tapestries and the great carriage on display in the courtyard. The price includes a traditional French gourmet set menu served at your table.

History
Opened on 12 April 1992 along with the park, the Auberge de Cendrillon is one of the original restaurants in Fantasyland.
Designed from the start to offer meet and greets with Disney characters, the restaurant has kept its romantic castle theme inspired by the classic fairy tale. The space has had several technical and decorative updates over the decades, but it has always kept its name and its purpose: table-service meals in a grand setting.

My verdict
The Auberge de Cendrillon is the most sought-after character restaurant in Disneyland Park. It’s themed on Cinderella, and the Disney Princesses come to meet you right at your table. Its big draw is the palace setting and the French set menu served at lunch and dinner, which make it a really special place to eat.
I haven’t eaten here yet. My opinion is based on my research and on what I’ve heard from people I know and from Disney fans. Reviews all praise the quality of the time spent with Cinderella and the princesses and the immersive setting, for a high budget of around €100 per adult and €50 per child on a fixed set menu. Booking is almost essential, ideally 60 days ahead, and slots go fast, especially during French school holidays. Open since 1992, it’s above all a character meal.
I’d recommend it for families with princess-loving kids or to mark a special occasion. It’s less suited to you if the food is your main priority, as the concept is first and foremost a meal with characters.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 Which restaurants offer character dining at Disneyland Paris?
Five restaurants offer character dining at Disneyland Paris. In Disneyland Park, there’s Plaza Gardens Restaurant on Main Street (all-you-can-eat buffet with Mickey, Minnie and Donald, currently closed for refurbishment until 2027) and Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland (table service with the Princesses). Since March 2026, Regal View Restaurant & Lounge has been open in Disney Adventure World with a Princess buffet. At the hotels, Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumière at the Disneyland Hotel also offer character dining: see the Hotels FAQ section for details.
02 How much does a character meal cost and how do you book one?
Character meals cost between €50 and €120 per adult, depending on the restaurant. Plaza Gardens is around €50-80 (closed for refurbishment until 2027), the Auberge de Cendrillon between €60 and €95, and the Regal View Restaurant is in the same range. At the hotels, the Royal Banquet costs around €100 per adult and La Table de Lumière €120. These prices come from the official Disneyland Paris website and may change. In particular, they’re higher during special events such as Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve. To book, use the official Disneyland Paris app, the Disneyland Paris website or call +33 1 60 30 40 50.
03 Which characters can you meet at the Auberge de Cendrillon and at Plaza Gardens?
At the Auberge de Cendrillon (Fantasyland), you meet the Disney Princesses on rotation: Cinderella of course, but also Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, Merida, Rapunzel and Tiana. They aren’t all there at the same meal, and the line-up changes from day to day. At the Plaza Gardens Restaurant on Main Street, you’ll see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh and other friends, with a more relaxed all-you-can-eat buffet format (watch out, the restaurant is currently closed for refurbishment until 2027). In both cases, the characters go from table to table to sign autograph books and pose for photos.
04 How do you book a table at a Disneyland Paris restaurant?
You have four ways to book. The easiest is the official Disneyland Paris app ("Dining" section), from your Disney account. You can also call the booking line on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50, use the official website via the Dining menu or book on site at City Hall, Studio Services or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk. Before you choose, I suggest downloading my free file by email, which brings together all the menus of the Disneyland Paris restaurants. It really helps you make up your mind.
05 How far in advance can you book a restaurant at Disneyland Paris?
It depends on how you’re visiting. If you’re staying in a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed: a real advantage for the most popular restaurants like the Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day, without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can book in the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website or by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book as soon as the window opens for character restaurants and for evenings at weekends or during French school holidays, otherwise the slots disappear fast.
