At a glance
The Lucky Nugget Saloon is a table-service restaurant in Frontierland, in Disneyland Park. The saloon’s name ("the lucky nugget") echoes the gold rush imagery that runs through all of Thunder Mesa.
The decor recreates a large Wild West theatre saloon on two levels: a big hall built around a stage with a piano and a red curtain, carved wooden balconies overlooking the room, gilded chandeliers decorated with female busts and strings of pearls, stained glass, murals of the Wild West (mountains, a steamboat, gold prospectors) and a long curved wooden bar. The show hall can host entertainment depending on the time of year.
Service is at the table, with a menu centred on American and Tex-Mex food (burgers, dishes with chips, themed desserts).
A gold rush theatre saloon. This restaurant offers table service in a nineteenth-century cabaret setting with carved wooden balconies. You order Western burgers, pork ribs or fried fish facing a central stage. Puppet shows are regularly put on there during the day.

History
Opened on 12 April 1992, The Lucky Nugget Saloon started out as a dinner show venue presenting The Lucky Nugget Revue, a Wild West music hall show.
The show was dropped over the decades, and the venue switched between different formats (character buffet, quick service, set menu with table service) while keeping its large stage and its lavish gold leaf decor.

My verdict
The Lucky Nugget Saloon is a full table-service restaurant in Frontierland, set in a gold rush era theatre saloon. Its strong point is the table service in richly detailed surroundings, which is unusual at this price level.
I’ve eaten here several times and I love this restaurant. It’s a bit pricey for fast food, but the table service makes up for it, at around €28 per adult and €16 per child, in a venue open since 1992. I really liked the special Halloween theming and I hope it comes back every season. Two drawbacks: you can’t book and the queue gets longer in peak season. The long opening hours are still handy.
I recommend it for a Western meal with table service that won’t break the bank. Less suited if you want to book ahead or avoid queuing.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 Where can you eat cheaply in the Disneyland Paris parks?
To keep costs down, go for the quick-service counters rated €. Casey’s Corner serves hot dogs on Main Street, Café Hyperion does burgers and nuggets in Discoveryland, Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant serves pizza slices in Adventureland, and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland is still a good deal. Over at Disney Adventure World, Stark Factory and Super Diner remain affordable. Tip: Mobile Order (Click & Collect) in the app also lets you order at some counters without having to queue. And if you’re a bit peckish, a snack (waffle, churros, ice cream) for €5 to €10 does the job nicely.
02 Are there kids’ menus in the Disney restaurants?
Yes, almost all Disneyland Paris restaurants offer a child price (ages 3-11). In the all-you-can-eat buffets, children pay around half price: Agrabah Café at €25, Cape Cod at €25, La Cantina at €20. Classic table-service restaurants also have a children’s set menu with a suitable starter, main course and dessert. At the quick-service counters, you’ll find kids’ set meals with a drink and a dessert included. You can ask for a high chair when you book, using the "special request" field.
03 Are there vegetarian and vegan options in the Disneyland Paris restaurants?
Yes, more and more Disneyland Paris restaurants offer vegetarian and vegan options. The Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland serves a full vegan set menu, and Toad Hall Restaurant in Fantasyland has really nice breaded plant-based crispy bites. Most other table-service restaurants and buffets have at least one vegetarian dish on the menu. Simpler buffets such as Agrabah Café or Cape Cod also offer meat-free alternatives. To check the details, download my free file by email with all the Disneyland Paris restaurant menus: that way you can spot the veggie options before your visit.
04 Where can you get an afternoon snack or a quick bite in the parks?
The parks are full of kiosks and snack stands for when you’re a bit peckish. For something sweet, there’s Cookie Kitchen on Main Street U.S.A., March Hare Refreshments in Fantasyland, waffle and churros stands just about everywhere, and roaming popcorn and ice cream sellers. For something savoury, the hot dogs at Casey’s Corner. Allow €5 to €10 per snack. Little tip: some stands sell reusable collectible popcorn buckets that make lovely souvenirs and give you refills at a reduced price all day.
05 How much does a meal cost at Disneyland Paris?
Prices vary a lot depending on the type of restaurant. As a rough guide (prices change), allow around €15 to €25 per adult at a quick-service counter (€), €30 to €50 at a classic table-service restaurant (€€), and €60 and over at the premium buffets or signature restaurants (€€€ and €€€€). To give you some concrete benchmarks: the Agrabah Café buffet is €45 per adult / €25 per child, Cape Cod €45 / €25, La Cantina €35 / €20. Character dining set menus such as Auberge de Cendrillon go up to €60-95 per adult. For snacks (ice cream, waffle, churros), allow €5 to €10. These ranges are approximate, and you can check the exact price on each restaurant’s menu.
