At a glance

The Regal View Restaurant is a table-service restaurant at Disney Adventure World, on Adventure Way, on the shore of Adventure Bay, next door to the lounge bar The Regal View Lounge. It’s part of the park’s extension and runs as character dining, from breakfast to dinner.

The exterior has a pink and blue Art Nouveau facade, decorated with large arches, an ornamental dome and a wrought-iron canopy made by the Schaffner workshops in Alsace. Inside is a refined setting, with large wooden arches, floral tapestries, delicate mouldings, hanging chandeliers and murals showing several princesses, including Snow White, Tiana and Moana. Every detail is carefully done, especially the decorative hand-made earthenware plates by Royal Delft, official supplier to the Dutch royal family. Some tables by the large arched bay windows have a view over Adventure Bay, the neighbouring kingdom of Arendelle and the night-time show Disney Cascade of Lights.

The experience includes meeting Disney Princesses at your table, among them Belle, Jasmine, Aurora, Ariel, Mulan and Merida, dressed in village outfits. The menu offers international food with table service. Booking is strongly recommended and is done through the Disneyland Paris app or website.

What makes it stand out

A royal dinner by the lake. The Art Nouveau glass windows of this grand restaurant look straight out over the waters of Adventure Bay. Your meal comes with regular visits from the Disney Princesses, who stop by to greet diners at their tables. Fine tableware and floral murals give this exceptional restaurant its identity.

My verdict

The Regal View Restaurant is the new character dining restaurant on Adventure Way, at Disney Adventure World, celebrating the Disney Princesses by the lake. Its big draw is the table service with princess meet and greets in richly detailed Art Nouveau decor.

I haven’t tried this restaurant yet. My opinion is based on my research and on what I’ve heard from people I know and from Disney fans. Opened in 2026, it offers a character meal with several princesses at a high price, around €100 per adult and €50 per child, with 250 covers. Feedback praises the decor and the time with the characters, but notes a sometimes noisy dining room, limited availability and booking that’s almost always essential. It’s one of the big new additions to the reimagined park.

I recommend it for families with princess-loving kids, in the second park. Less suited if the food or a quiet meal is your priority.

Your questions about this restaurant

01 Which restaurants offer character dining at Disneyland Paris?

Five restaurants offer character dining at Disneyland Paris. In Disneyland Park, there’s Plaza Gardens Restaurant on Main Street (all-you-can-eat buffet with Mickey, Minnie and Donald, currently closed for refurbishment until 2027) and Auberge de Cendrillon in Fantasyland (table service with the Princesses). Since March 2026, Regal View Restaurant & Lounge has been open in Disney Adventure World with a Princess buffet. At the hotels, Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumière at the Disneyland Hotel also offer character dining: see the Hotels FAQ section for details.

02 How much does a character meal cost and how do you book one?

Character meals cost between €50 and €120 per adult, depending on the restaurant. Plaza Gardens is around €50-80 (closed for refurbishment until 2027), the Auberge de Cendrillon between €60 and €95, and the Regal View Restaurant is in the same range. At the hotels, the Royal Banquet costs around €100 per adult and La Table de Lumière €120. These prices come from the official Disneyland Paris website and may change. In particular, they’re higher during special events such as Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve. To book, use the official Disneyland Paris app, the Disneyland Paris website or call +33 1 60 30 40 50.

03 How do you book a table at a Disneyland Paris restaurant?

You have four ways to book. The easiest is the official Disneyland Paris app ("Dining" section), from your Disney account. You can also call the booking line on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50, use the official website via the Dining menu or book on site at City Hall, Studio Services or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk. Before you choose, I suggest downloading my free file by email, which brings together all the menus of the Disneyland Paris restaurants. It really helps you make up your mind.

04 How far in advance can you book a restaurant at Disneyland Paris?

It depends on how you’re visiting. If you’re staying in a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed: a real advantage for the most popular restaurants like the Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day, without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can book in the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website or by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book as soon as the window opens for character restaurants and for evenings at weekends or during French school holidays, otherwise the slots disappear fast.

05 Can you still get a table on the day without booking?

Yes, it’s possible but not guaranteed. Some restaurants run a "walk-in queue" depending on the tables freed up during the day. Go to the restaurant’s reception desk and ask if there’s any room left. The mobile app also shows slots that open up in real time (last-minute cancellations), and I check it regularly when I’m after a last-minute table. Otherwise, fall back on the quick-service counters and snack stands, which never need a booking. Tip: eating lunch at an off-peak time (before 12:00 or after 14:00) greatly improves your chances of finding a table without booking.
