Disneyland Paris Friends Tickets: bring your loved ones for less

Friends Tickets are a Disneyland Pass offer: when you hold an active pass, you can buy discounted 1-day 2-park entry tickets for your friends and family. The offer is occasional, open a few times a year for a limited period and in limited numbers.

A Friends Ticket gives access to both parks on the same day: Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World (which includes World of Frozen). It’s a proper entry ticket, not a pass. It’s there to bring your loved ones along, not to replace a membership.

This offer replaces the former Privilege Ticket, which ended with the old range of passes. Disneyland Paris relaunched it at the end of 2023 under this new name and with new conditions.

A Disneyland Pass member since 2016, I buy Friends Tickets every time the window opens so my loved ones can come to the park. For how the pass works in general, see my complete guide to the Disneyland Pass.

Before you buy, here are the rules to know:

Quotas

a maximum of 5 tickets per day, per transaction and per pass, up to a limit of 20 tickets per pass over the whole offer period. Both caps apply at the same time.

Named tickets

you enter the first name and surname of each companion when you buy. Tickets can’t be changed or refunded.

Who is eligible

you need a confirmed adult pass that is currently valid. All valid adult tiers (Bronze One, Bronze Max, Silver or Gold) have access to the offer.

Availability

the offer is subject to availability, in limited numbers.

Online purchase

Friends Tickets are no longer sold at the park entrance. You can only buy them online, in the app or on the official website.

No resale

use is strictly personal and non-commercial. Reselling can lead to your Disneyland Pass being suspended.

You don’t have to go with your guests on the day of their visit. You get the tickets’ QR codes from your Disney account and send them to your loved ones, who go into the parks without you. That’s the key difference from the former Privilege Ticket, which required the passholder to be there.

The price of a Friends Ticket varies with the visit date you choose and with the current offer. In the app, a colour code on the calendar shows the price bands by date: the most popular dates are usually more expensive.

For exact prices, see the cards for the current offer higher up this page. I don’t show any fixed price here, because it changes with every offer.

Either way, a Friends Ticket is still noticeably cheaper than the dated ticket sold to the general public. The offer quickly becomes good value as soon as you invite several people on the same day. It’s only for Disneyland Pass members.

A Friends Ticket doesn’t include Extra Magic Time (early entry) by default. There are two exceptions:

• Your guest gets it if they’re staying at an official Disney hotel, for example on a room-only stay (a hotel night booked without a park ticket) booked with you, through a hotel offer.
• If you’re a Gold passholder, you keep your Extra Magic Time for yourself, not for your guests with a Friends Ticket.

As for parking: for a Bronze or Silver member, access to the Disney car park depends on whether your own pass is valid that day, not on the Friends Ticket.

One last useful tip: if your pass has a restricted day, you can’t get in with it. But nothing stops you buying a Friends Ticket for yourself so you can get in that day. Remember to check the dates you want to come: see how to book your visit dates.

The offer comes back several times a year, with the same conditions every window. Only the visit dates on offer and the prices change. The table below sums up the full history of offers since the launch, to give you an idea of the periods and price ranges from one time to the next.

Two windows come round each year: one in the quiet season, usually from January to March, and a longer one in the warmer months, which can run from June to October. These are rough guides, not guaranteed dates.

When an offer is already open (you can see it higher up this page), the next window is usually the following one in this calendar. I don’t announce a precise date until Disneyland Paris has made a new offer official. As soon as it’s confirmed, I add it to the current offer.

Friends Tickets replace the former Privilege Ticket, which ended at the same time as the old range of passes. The key difference for you: the passholder no longer has to be there. You send the QR codes to your guests, who go in without you. For the former offer and how it worked, see my article on the Privilege Ticket.

Friends Tickets are only for Disneyland Pass members: without an active pass, you can’t get them. If you visit the park often, the pass can become worth it and gives you this chance to invite your loved ones at a discount.
