Disneyland Paris with a baby: tips for parents
Visiting Disneyland Paris with a baby or a child under 3 takes careful planning: finding the breastfeeding areas, bringing a pushchair and using the free tips to make the most of queue times.
Height checker What can your child ride, based on their height?
Set your child’s height: I’ll show you the rides they can do, and the ones they’re still a little too short for.
No rides in this category at this height.
On the most popular rides they can do, the queues can be long. Premier Access lets you skip the queue whenever you like.

Your questions, my answers
The questions I get most often by email and DM. Answers with real figures, checked and tested on the ground.
01 Does my child under 3 need a ticket?
No, entry to Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World is free for children under 3. You don’t have to buy or show any ticket at the entrance, you just go through the turnstiles with your child. A practical tip: always keep proof of age (passport or ID card) in your bag. Disneyland Paris sometimes checks when in doubt, as there has been a lot of abuse, so it’s better to be prepared. Remember to bring a pushchair too, as the distances are longer than you’d think.
02 Is Disneyland Paris suitable for very young children?
Yes. Entry is free for under-3s (no ticket needed). Plenty of rides are suitable from a very young age, especially in Fantasyland ("it’s a small world", Le Carrousel de Lancelot, Peter Pan’s Flight). Rider Switch (formerly Baby Switch) lets parents take turns on rides with height restrictions without queuing again. There are Baby Care Centres (changing, breastfeeding, bottle warmers) in each park.
03 Where are the Baby Care Centres and what do they offer?
Each park has a Baby Care Centre. In Disneyland Park, it is at the end of Main Street U.S.A., on the Plaza Gardens side. In Disney Adventure World, it is near the park entrance, in the Place des Frères Lumière area. Inside you’ll find changing tables, a quiet breastfeeding area, a bottle warmer and microwave, baby food and nappies if you run out (paid) plus adapted toilets. Access is free and open during park opening hours.
04 Can you ask for a high chair or a birthday cake, or mention a meal plan, when booking?
Yes, when you book (app, phone or website), there’s a "Special request" field where you can make several requests. You can mention a high chair for a baby, a birthday cake (at an extra cost) or a food intolerance or allergy. You can also say that you want to use your half-board plan. For the birthday cake, I’d advise mentioning it as soon as you book to be sure one is available. If you didn’t, you can also ask directly when you arrive at the restaurant, and they’ll try to sort something out depending on what they have in stock that day.
05 Where can you buy baby items at Disneyland Paris?
Baby essentials, such as nappies, baby food, fruit juice, dummies or sun cream, are sold in the pushchair and wheelchair hire shops in both parks, as well as in the Disney hotel shops. My tip: still pack the essentials in your bag, as the choice on site is limited.
