Yes, you can (and I’d recommend you do) book a table at Disneyland Paris for buffet and table-service restaurants. Quick-service restaurants and snacks are walk-in only, with no booking needed.
There are four ways to book: the official mobile app (the easiest), the official website, by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50 (Monday-Friday 9:00-20:45, Saturday 9:00-19:00, Sunday 10:00-18:30) and on the spot on the day.
As for timing, you can book up to 2 months ahead if you’re visiting for the day or with a ticket only, and up to 1 year ahead if you’re staying at a Disney hotel. A standard table is free to book, with nothing to pay upfront.
Why book a restaurant at Disneyland Paris?
Booking guarantees you a seat, especially at peak times. The most popular tables fill up very quickly, sometimes weeks in advance, and some restaurants are almost impossible to get into without a booking.
It also makes things easier on the day: you know where and when you’re eating, with no wandering around at lunchtime looking for a free table. For me, it’s the one step that takes the most stress out of planning a trip.
One thing to know: a booking gives you priority seating, not a table guaranteed to the minute. You may still wait a little when you arrive, but you’ll go ahead of people without a booking.
When should you book a table?
It depends on your situation. If you’re visiting for the day or with a park ticket only, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) before your visit. If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed.
Either way, my advice is simple: book as early as possible. Slots at the most popular restaurants go within minutes on the day bookings open.
Day visitor or ticket only
Up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. Booking opens exactly 60 days before the date you want.
Staying at a Disney hotel
Up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed. You can secure your tables well in advance.

- At the concierge desk of your Disney hotel, if you’re staying there.

Which restaurants do you need to book?
Only buffet and table-service restaurants take bookings. Quick-service restaurants and snacks are walk-in only: no booking, you just turn up.
Book first, and as early as possible: the most popular tables and character dining, which go very quickly. For character meals, Auberge de Cendrillon, The Regal View, Royal Banquet and La Table de Lumière, as well as La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert, are the ones to go for as soon as bookings open.
For everything about character dining (how it works, prices, which to choose), have a look at my dedicated guide.
Bistrot Chez Rémy
A Ratatouille-themed table-service restaurant serving Parisian bistro food at La Place de Rémy, in the Worlds of Pixar land of Disney Adventure World.
Walt’s - an American restaurant
An iconic table-service restaurant on Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland Paris, paying tribute to Walt Disney with refined American cooking.
Auberge de Cendrillon
A French-inspired table-service restaurant themed on Cinderella, offering character dining with the Disney Princesses.
Do you have to pay when you book?
Booking a standard table is free: no prepayment and no bank card needed for a regular booking through the app, the website or by phone. You pay for your meal at the restaurant.
Character dining works differently: it can be prepaid or included in a meal plan as part of your stay. All the details are in my guide to character dining.
How to cancel or change your booking
For a standard table, it’s flexible: open the official app, go to "Account" then "My table reservations" and cancel in a few taps. You can also call the booking line on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50.
For a prepaid meal or one included in a meal plan, the conditions are stricter (refund to your payment card, a deadline to meet before you arrive). If in doubt, contact the booking line, which will tell you the exact rule for your booking.
My tips
- Book early, especially for the most popular tables (Bistrot Chez Rémy, Walt’s, Auberge de Cendrillon).
- Fully booked? Keep an eye on the app: cancellations regularly free up slots.
- Staying at a Disney hotel? The concierge can sometimes find a last-minute table.
- As a last resort, some restaurants run a "walk-in" queue on the day, if you’re patient at the entrance.
- Have the date, number of guests and meal ready before you log in so you can book faster.

Frequently asked questions
01 Do I need to book a restaurant in advance at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, for buffet restaurants and table-service restaurants, I strongly recommend it: tables go quickly, especially at weekends and in the school holidays. Quick-service restaurants and snack kiosks are walk-in, with no booking. Book as early as possible, up to 2 months ahead for a day visit and up to 1 year ahead if you’re staying at a Disney hotel.
02 How far in advance can you book a restaurant at Disneyland Paris?
It depends on how you’re visiting. If you’re staying in a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed: a real advantage for the most popular restaurants like the Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day, without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can book in the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website or by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book as soon as the window opens for character restaurants and for evenings at weekends or during French school holidays, otherwise the slots disappear fast.
03 Can I book a restaurant once I’m there or on the day?
Yes, subject to availability: at City Hall (Disneyland Park), at Studio Services (Disney Adventure World), at the restaurant entrance or at your Disney hotel’s concierge desk.
04 Do I need a bank card to book a table?
No, booking a standard table is free and doesn’t require prepayment. Only character meals may be prepaid or included in a meal plan.
05 What can I do if the restaurant is full?
Keep an eye on the app: cancellations often free up slots. You can also ask your Disney hotel’s concierge desk or try the restaurant’s "walk-in" queue on the day.
06 Which restaurants should I book as early as possible?
Bistrot Chez Rémy (the hardest), Walt’s, Auberge de Cendrillon and La Forêt Secrète par Jean Imbert, as well as the character meals, which go very quickly as soon as bookings open.
07 What happens if I’m late for my reservation?
There’s usually a grace period of about 15 minutes. After that, your table can be given to other guests and the reservation lost. If you’re running late, let the restaurant know as soon as possible.
