At a glance

Agrabah Café is at the entrance to Adventureland, on the Central Plaza side, close to Le Passage Enchanté d’Aladdin. Opened on 23 December 1999, it takes up the space of three former shops of the Adventureland Bazar, and some visual references remain today (signs, murals, the word "Bazar" on the front). The theme is inspired by the film Aladdin (1992) and the world of the Arabian Nights.

The decor spreads over several connecting rooms, each with its own atmosphere (the Carpet Souk, the Fountain Room, the Tent, the Slipper Souk, an outdoor patio), with pierced metal lanterns, hanging Middle Eastern rugs, mosaic fountains, murals featuring the Genie and wooden balconies. It seats around 230 diners.

It’s an all-you-can-eat, self-service buffet, split into starters, main courses and desserts. The menu features Mediterranean and North African specialities: hummus, aubergine dip, tabbouleh, marinated olives, couscous, tagines, skewers, meatballs and kebab, plus Middle Eastern pastries (baklava, makrout) and mint tea served at the end of the meal. In summer, the restaurant sometimes serves an afternoon snack on the terrace.

What makes it stand out

Middle Eastern souk decor. This all-you-can-eat buffet serves Middle Eastern specialities such as tagines, couscous and lots of different kinds of hummus. The connecting dining rooms are richly decorated with pierced metal lanterns and hanging rugs inspired by Aladdin. Booking is strongly recommended for this spot at the entrance to Adventureland.

The most popular tables go fast, often several weeks ahead: I recommend booking as soon as your dates are set. Have a look at the menu before you go too, you’ll know straight away whether this restaurant suits you and you won’t waste time on the spot.

History

Opened in 1999, Agrabah Café Restaurant occupies the space of the former Adventureland Bazaar, a covered market that had been there since the park opened on 12 April 1992. The restaurant replaced some of its stalls, such as L’Echoppe d’Aladin and La Reine des Serpents, while the Les Trésors de Schéhérazade shop, still right next door, has been closed for several years with no reopening announced.

Following the huge success of the animated film Aladdin, the original space was turned into a Middle Eastern buffet restaurant. The setting of narrow alleys and Arabian tents was kept and adapted to fit the tables and food counters.

My verdict

Julie
Julie ★★★½☆ 200+ visits since 2023

Agrabah Café Restaurant is the only all-you-can-eat Middle Eastern buffet in Disneyland Park, at the entrance to Adventureland in carefully crafted souk decor. Its main strength is the choice of couscous, tagines and pastries that you won’t find anywhere else in the resort.

The last time I ate there was in 2025, and the Arabian Nights atmosphere works well, lanterns and mosaics included. Allow around €45 per adult and €25 per child for the buffet, which is reasonable compared with the rest of the park. That said, I find the temperature of the dishes varies depending on when you go, and the mildly spiced flavours can surprise palates used to traditional couscous. On the plus side, a last-minute booking is often possible, but there’s no table service.

I’d recommend it for families who fancy a change of scene and anyone who loves a generous buffet in Adventureland. Less suitable if you’re travelling with fussy young children, as Middle Eastern food isn’t to everyone’s taste.

Your questions about this restaurant

01 How do you book a table at a Disneyland Paris restaurant?

You have four ways to book. The easiest is the official Disneyland Paris app ("Dining" section), from your Disney account. You can also call the booking line on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50, use the official website via the Dining menu or book on site at City Hall, Studio Services or your Disney hotel’s concierge desk. Before you choose, I suggest downloading my free file by email, which brings together all the menus of the Disneyland Paris restaurants. It really helps you make up your mind.

02 How far in advance can you book a restaurant at Disneyland Paris?

It depends on how you’re visiting. If you’re staying in a Disney hotel, you can book up to 1 year ahead, as soon as your stay is confirmed: a real advantage for the most popular restaurants like the Auberge de Cendrillon or the character buffets. If you’re coming for the day, without a Disney hotel, you can book up to 2 months (60 days) ahead. You can book in the Disneyland Paris app, on the official website or by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50. My advice: book as soon as the window opens for character restaurants and for evenings at weekends or during French school holidays, otherwise the slots disappear fast.

03 Can you still get a table on the day without booking?

Yes, it’s possible but not guaranteed. Some restaurants run a "walk-in queue" depending on the tables freed up during the day. Go to the restaurant’s reception desk and ask if there’s any room left. The mobile app also shows slots that open up in real time (last-minute cancellations), and I check it regularly when I’m after a last-minute table. Otherwise, fall back on the quick-service counters and snack stands, which never need a booking. Tip: eating lunch at an off-peak time (before 12:00 or after 14:00) greatly improves your chances of finding a table without booking.

04 How do I cancel a Disneyland Paris restaurant booking?

You can cancel easily in the official Disneyland Paris mobile app. Go to "Account > My table reservations", select the booking and confirm the cancellation. You can also cancel by phone on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50. Remember to cancel as soon as you know you won’t make it: it frees up a table for other visitors and is a nice thing to do. Important: you can’t change the time or the number of diners directly in the app. If you need to change it, you have two options: cancel and make a new booking (if slots are still available), or call the reservations centre on +33 (0)1 60 30 40 50.

05 Can you ask for a high chair or a birthday cake, or mention a meal plan, when booking?

Yes, when you book (app, phone or website), there’s a "Special request" field where you can make several requests. You can mention a high chair for a baby, a birthday cake (at an extra cost) or a food intolerance or allergy. You can also say that you want to use your half-board plan. For the birthday cake, I’d advise mentioning it as soon as you book to be sure one is available. If you didn’t, you can also ask directly when you arrive at the restaurant, and they’ll try to sort something out depending on what they have in stock that day.
