At a glance
The Disneyland Hotel is the most prestigious hotel at Disneyland Paris. This Victorian-style building stands out with its pink frontage and grand roofs. It had a full renovation, completed in early 2024, to showcase the princes and princesses of the animated films.
This Disney hotel has 487 rooms. Its interior design pays tribute to eleven classic and modern films, with artistic references and modern touches such as screens built into the mirrors.
Its location is its biggest asset, as it is literally the gateway to the main park. It offers upmarket services including wellness areas, an indoor pool, royal activities and entertainment, meet and greets with the Disney Princesses and several themed places to eat.
Hotel guests get Extra Magic Time, so they can enter the parks before official opening to the general public. It’s a top choice for anyone who wants maximum comfort with the rides right on the doorstep.
Located AT the park. You walk through the entrance gates straight from the hotel lobby. No transport or long walk is needed to reach the rides. Suite guests get direct, private access via the Castle Club to make the most of every minute of their stay.
History
Opened on 12 April 1992 at the same time as Disneyland Paris (then Euro Disney Resort), the Disneyland Hotel is the resort’s signature hotel, designed in the Victorian style of the grand Florida palace hotels.
After closing for nearly three years, the hotel reopened on 25 January 2024, fully renewed with a Royal & Princesses theme, a new lobby, refurbished rooms and the creation of the Signature Suites, the most immersive and luxurious at Disneyland Paris.

My verdict
The Disneyland Hotel charges sky-high prices that are justified only by its exceptional location. It’s the only hotel where you can go from your room to the park turnstiles in under a minute flat.
I haven’t stayed there or tried it myself. My opinion is based only on the hotel’s website, feedback from people I know, online reviews and a visit to the lobby and common areas only. Feedback highlights the quality of the royal service since the reopening in January 2024, and the Castle Club rooms clearly stand out with exclusive perks such as the private lift. For a classic, no-frills family stay, other hotels in the resort are a far more reasonable compromise on price.
Book it to mark a big occasion such as a wedding anniversary or a memorable first holiday. Avoid it if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep between two busy days of rides.

The Disneyland Hotel also offers extra services to make your stay even more special.
For example, you can order flowers or champagne in your room, exclusive gifts from the shop, a birthday cake or a personalised message.
These services are available only to guests who already have a booking and you need to contact the hotel concierge. Prices and services may be changed by Disneyland Paris and are subject to availability.

Your questions about this hotel
01 Which Disney hotel for a luxury stay?
The Disneyland Hotel is the resort’s luxury hotel, by a long way. Fully renovated, it has princess theming on every floor, a spa called Le Spa du Château, fine-dining restaurants and the very exclusive Castle Club. For the ultimate stay, Castle Club rooms include breakfast with the princesses, a private lounge and a dedicated concierge. It is the only Disney hotel in the resort rated as luxury.
02 What are the themes of the Disney hotels?
Each Disney hotel has its own world: the Disneyland Hotel has a princess and royal theme, Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel celebrates the Marvel superheroes through works of art, the Newport Bay Club recalls nautical New England, the Sequoia Lodge takes you into the forest in the style of Bambi, Disney Hotel Cheyenne recreates a Wild West town with its saloon, Disney Hotel Santa Fe draws on Cars and Route 66, and the Davy Crockett Ranch offers mobile homes deep in the woods.
03 What is the Castle Club at the Disneyland Hotel?
The Castle Club is the premium room category on the top floor of the Disneyland Hotel, in an area set aside for guests looking for an exceptional stay. It has only 41 rooms, a private lounge (the Castle Club Lounge), a dedicated reception, a private lift and a personal concierge service. It’s the most upmarket experience in the resort.
04 Is there a spa at the Disneyland Hotel?
Yes, the Disneyland Hotel has a wellness area with an indoor pool, hot tub, hammam and sauna, in an elegant, well-kept setting. For treatments (massages, body treatments), I suggest checking directly with the hotel concierge, who offers a programme with a partner (Clarins).
05 Which Disneyland Hotel restaurants can you visit without staying there?
Three Disneyland Hotel restaurants are open to non-residents with a confirmed booking: Royal Banquet, La Table de Lumière and La Forêt Secrète. You can book in the Disneyland Paris mobile app or by phone with the restaurant booking service. I recommend booking several weeks ahead, especially at weekends and during special seasons.
