At a glance
Nordic Crowns Tavern is the main food outlet in the World of Frozen land, right in the village of Arendelle, in Disney Adventure World. It’s a quick-service counter restaurant, open for lunch and dinner, with no booking possible.
The interior architecture is inspired by the Stavkirke, Norway’s traditional wooden churches, with vaulted solid wood ceilings, rustic furniture and banners in the colours of Arendelle.
The decor tells the story of the kingdom through galleries of paintings, including portraits of Anna and Elsa, as well as many objects linked to the royal family.
The menu offers Nordic and Scandinavian-inspired food, with dishes combining protein, vegetables and sauces. The specialities include Swedish meatballs and salmon fillet. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available.
Arendelle’s Scandinavian tavern. This large quick-service restaurant stands at the centre of the village from Frozen. Its carved wood architecture and Nordic murals recall the halls of Anna and Elsa’s castle. The menu features hot Nordic specialities, slow-cooked meats and Scandinavian desserts.

History
Opened on 29 March 2026 along with the World of Frozen land, the restaurant was built from scratch as part of the Disney Adventure World expansion. It brings a Nordic theme that never existed in the park’s original footprint.

My verdict
Nordic Crowns Tavern is a quick-service counter in the new World of Frozen land, in Disney Adventure World, serving Nordic food you won’t find elsewhere in the parks. Its big draws are the immersive theming that evokes Arendelle and a menu you can’t get anywhere else.
I ate here recently and the immersion in the world of Frozen is well done. Allow around €22 per adult and €14 per child at this tavern that opened in 2026, with a salmon fillet as the speciality. My reservations: I find the dining room a little dark and, in my opinion, the food isn’t the best in the park, with sauces that may surprise you. It gets very busy at peak times in this hugely popular land.
I recommend it for Frozen fans curious about Nordic food. Less suited if you’re after the best food in the park or a bright setting.

Your questions about this restaurant
01 Where can you eat cheaply in the Disneyland Paris parks?
To keep costs down, go for the quick-service counters rated €. Casey’s Corner serves hot dogs on Main Street, Café Hyperion does burgers and nuggets in Discoveryland, Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant serves pizza slices in Adventureland, and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue in Frontierland is still a good deal. Over at Disney Adventure World, Stark Factory and Super Diner remain affordable. Tip: Mobile Order (Click & Collect) in the app also lets you order at some counters without having to queue. And if you’re a bit peckish, a snack (waffle, churros, ice cream) for €5 to €10 does the job nicely.
02 Are there kids’ menus in the Disney restaurants?
Yes, almost all Disneyland Paris restaurants offer a child price (ages 3-11). In the all-you-can-eat buffets, children pay around half price: Agrabah Café at €25, Cape Cod at €25, La Cantina at €20. Classic table-service restaurants also have a children’s set menu with a suitable starter, main course and dessert. At the quick-service counters, you’ll find kids’ set meals with a drink and a dessert included. You can ask for a high chair when you book, using the "special request" field.
03 Are there vegetarian and vegan options in the Disneyland Paris restaurants?
Yes, more and more Disneyland Paris restaurants offer vegetarian and vegan options. The Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland serves a full vegan set menu, and Toad Hall Restaurant in Fantasyland has really nice breaded plant-based crispy bites. Most other table-service restaurants and buffets have at least one vegetarian dish on the menu. Simpler buffets such as Agrabah Café or Cape Cod also offer meat-free alternatives. 04 How much does a meal cost at Disneyland Paris?
Prices vary a lot depending on the type of restaurant. As a rough guide (prices change), allow around €15 to €25 per adult at a quick-service counter (€), €30 to €50 at a classic table-service restaurant (€€), and €60 and over at the premium buffets or signature restaurants (€€€ and €€€€). To give you some concrete benchmarks: the Agrabah Café buffet is €45 per adult / €25 per child, Cape Cod €45 / €25, La Cantina €35 / €20. Character dining set menus such as Auberge de Cendrillon go up to €60-95 per adult. For snacks (ice cream, waffle, churros), allow €5 to €10. These ranges are approximate, and you can check the exact price on each restaurant’s menu.
