What is a room-only stay at Disneyland Paris?

A room-only stay at Disneyland Paris means sleeping at a Disney hotel without any park admission tickets. You pay for the room and nothing else. Disney’s official name for this offer is "Room Only."

You spend the night at the hotel and can use its amenities and Disney Village. But your booking doesn’t come with any park access.

It’s a smart option when what you’re after is the calm and the vibe of a Disney hotel, with its pool, spa, or restaurants, and you don’t necessarily plan to spend that day in the park.

Can you stay at a Disney hotel without park tickets?

Yes. That’s exactly how a room-only stay works: you book a room with no park tickets. Most Disney hotels offer it. To pick where to stay, see the Disney hotels. Here’s what a room-only stay includes, and what it doesn’t.

How much does a room-only stay at Disneyland Paris cost?

There’s no set price: you book a room-only stay like any regular hotel night, and the rate depends on the hotel, the date, the season, and how many people are traveling. To give you an idea, I checked prices for nights over the coming months: they run from about €137 a night at Davy Crockett Ranch, the most affordable, up to about €663 at the Disneyland Hotel. These prices are estimates, per room, and they change with your dates.

Who is it a good fit for?

A room-only stay is mainly for people who already have park access, or who don’t need it that day.

  • Disneyland Pass members first and foremost: they already have park access, so they don’t need to buy another ticket just to stay on-site.
  • Frequent visitors who’d like a hotel break with no park on the agenda.
  • Anybody who just wants a relaxing night away in a quiet setting.
  • Anyone who wants to arrive the night before a park day, to be there first thing in the morning.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • No need to buy a park ticket when you won’t be using one.
  • You get to use the hotel’s amenities and Disney Village.
  • Great for arriving the night before and starting your park day well rested.
  • Pass members can book online instead of calling.

Cons

  • No park access without a valid ticket or Pass.
  • Breakfast isn’t included.
  • The tourist tax is charged on top.
  • The Disneyland Hotel (5-star) isn’t always available as a room-only stay, so check availability.

How to book a room-only stay

Depending on your situation, you have three booking options.

Book my vacation

For everyone: by phone

The official reservations center takes room-only bookings by phone at +33 9 69 32 60 61 (the line for vacation packages and tickets, charged at the standard rate). From outside France: +33 9 69 32 60 61.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:30-19:30, and Saturday 9:30-18:00.

For Disneyland Pass members: online

Passholders with a Disneyland Pass can make the booking themselves on the official website: log into My Account, then open the My Disneyland Passes section. This works year-round.

At certain times of year, hotel deals just for Pass members offer better rates. They’re marked with a colored logo on the booking calendar. You’ll find all the details in my article on Disneyland Pass hotel deals.

Another option: Booking.com

You can also book Disney hotels (and partner hotels) on Booking.com. It’s handy for comparing prices, and it’s sometimes cheaper than the official website. Vacation prices swing a lot from one date to the next, so to land a night at the best price, keep an eye on how vacation prices change.

Overnight without tickets, or a daytime hotel visit?

Don’t mix the two up. With a room-only stay, you sleep at the hotel, but without a park ticket. A day visit is the opposite: you explore the parks (and the hotels if you like) without spending the night. I explain it in my article on visiting the Disneyland Hotel without staying there.

Frequently asked questions

01 Does a room-only stay get you into the parks?

No. A room-only stay gives you no park access at all. To get in, you need a valid Disneyland Pass or a dated ticket bought separately.

02 Can you stay at a Disney hotel without park tickets?

Yes, that’s exactly what a room-only stay is. You book a night at a Disney hotel and pay only for the room, with no park ticket.

03 Is breakfast included with a room-only stay?

No. Breakfast is never included. You can add it for an extra charge or choose a half-board meal plan. See meal plans.

04 How does booking a room-only stay work?

Anyone can book by phone through the official reservations center at +33 9 69 32 60 61. Disneyland Pass members can also book online in My Account, under My Disneyland Passes. Booking.com is another option.

05 Does a Disney vacation package already include the tourist tax?

In a vacation package booked through Disneyland Paris or an official reseller, the tourist tax is already included in the price, so you have nothing to pay when you arrive. It’s charged per adult, per night, and the amount varies with the hotel’s category. It doesn’t apply to ticket-only purchases with no hotel night.
