At a glance
The Disneyland Hotel is the most prestigious hotel at Disneyland Paris. The Victorian-style building is easy to spot with its pink facade and grand rooftops. A complete renovation, wrapped up in early 2024, put the princes and princesses of Disney’s animated films front and center.
This Disney hotel has 487 rooms. Its interior pays tribute to eleven classic and modern films, mixing artistic nods with modern features like screens built into the mirrors.
Location is its biggest selling point, since it literally serves as the front door to the main park. Amenities are upscale across the board: wellness areas, an indoor pool, royal-themed activities and entertainment, chances to meet the Disney Princesses, and several themed places to eat.
Guests get Extra Magic Time, which lets them into the parks before they officially open to the general public. It’s a top pick for anyone who wants maximum comfort and to be right next to the rides.
Located INSIDE the park. You walk from the hotel lobby straight through the park gates. No bus, no long walk to reach the rides. Suite guests get direct, private access through the Castle Club so they can make the most of every minute of their stay.
History
Opened on April 12, 1992, together with the park at Disneyland Paris (then called Euro Disney Resort), the Disneyland Hotel is the resort’s signature hotel, designed in the Victorian style of Florida’s grand palace hotels.
After being closed for nearly three years, the hotel reopened on January 25, 2024, completely transformed around a Royal & Princesses theme, with a new lobby, refurbished rooms, and brand-new Signature Suites, the most immersive and luxurious rooms at Disneyland Paris.

Pros and cons
The highlights

- Extra Magic Time to enjoy the parks before they open to everyone else
- A heated indoor pool beneath a glass roof that floods it with light
The downsides

- No free shuttle running straight to the train station or the other hotels
- Some restaurants and services are sometimes limited to hotel guests
My verdict
The Disneyland Hotel charges sky-high rates, and the only thing that justifies them is its unbeatable location. It’s the one hotel where you can get from your room to the park turnstiles in under a minute flat.
I’ve never actually stayed there or tested it firsthand. Everything here comes from the hotel’s own website, feedback from people I know, online reviews, and my own walk through the lobby and shared areas, nothing more. Guests praise the quality of the royal-style service since the January 2024 reopening, and the Castle Club rooms clearly stand out thanks to exclusive perks like the private elevator. For a standard, no-frills family trip, other hotels at the resort offer a far more reasonable trade-off on price.
Book it if you want to go all out for a big occasion like a wedding anniversary or a memorable first trip. Skip it if all you need is a bed between two packed days of rides.

Extra services
Want an even more memorable stay? The Disneyland Hotel also sells a range of add-on services.
For example, you can ask for flowers or champagne in your room, exclusive gifts from the hotel shop, a birthday cake, or a personalized message.
You can only order them once you already have a reservation, by getting in touch with the hotel’s concierge team. Disneyland Paris may change the prices and services, and everything depends on availability.

Your questions about this hotel
01 Which Disney hotel is best for a luxury stay?
By a long way, the Disneyland Hotel is the resort’s top luxury option. Since its full renovation, every floor carries a princess theme, and you’ll find a spa (named Le Spa du Château), gourmet restaurants, and the highly exclusive Castle Club. If you want the very best, Castle Club rooms add breakfast with the princesses, a private lounge, and a dedicated concierge. No other Disney hotel at the resort is rated luxury.
02 What theme does each Disney hotel have?
Each Disney hotel has its own world: the Disneyland Hotel is themed around princesses and royalty, Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel celebrates Marvel superheroes through works of art, Newport Bay Club evokes seafaring New England, Sequoia Lodge takes you into a Bambi-style forest, Hotel Cheyenne recreates a Wild West town complete with a saloon, Hotel Santa Fe draws on Cars and Route 66, and Davy Crockett Ranch offers cabins out in the woods.
03 Disneyland Hotel Castle Club: what is it?
The Castle Club is the premium room category on the top floor of the Disneyland Hotel, a space set aside for guests who want an exceptional stay. It has only 41 rooms, a private lounge (the Castle Club Lounge), its own front desk, a private elevator, and personalized concierge service. It’s the most upscale experience at the resort.
04 Does the Disneyland Hotel have a spa?
Yes. The Disneyland Hotel’s wellness area includes an indoor pool, a hot tub, a steam room, and a sauna, all in an elegant, carefully designed space. For spa treatments (massages, body treatments), ask the hotel concierge directly: they offer a tailored program with a partner brand (Clarins).
05 Which Disneyland Hotel restaurants can you eat at without staying there?
Three Disneyland Hotel restaurants are open to non-guests with a confirmed reservation: Royal Banquet, La Table de Lumière, and La Forêt Secrète. You can book through the Disneyland Paris mobile app or by calling the restaurant reservations line. I recommend booking several weeks ahead, especially on weekends and during special seasons.
