At a glance
Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel is a four-star hotel that pays tribute to New York culture and to comic book artists. With 561 rooms, this Disney hotel works like a permanent exhibit, gathering hundreds of original pieces tied to the Avengers and their allies.
The architecture takes direct inspiration from Manhattan skyscrapers, for a refined urban setting. Inside, the mood is that of a modern loft or a sophisticated art gallery. Every space, from the hallways to the common areas, showcases the work of the artists who shaped the look of the super heroes.
What sets this hotel apart from the other places to stay at Disneyland Paris is a theme you won’t find anywhere else in the world. It goes beyond a place to sleep, with creative activity spaces and exclusive character meeting spots. Guests also get handy perks like the free shuttle and park access before official opening time.
When it comes to food, you can pick between an international buffet and refined table service. Families will appreciate the family rooms and the drawing workshops, which mix comfort with themed entertainment. Half-board meal plans that include breakfast can be added to your stay.
Super Hero Station. This immersive photo spot is reserved for guests staying at this hotel only, and it’s where you meet Spider-Man or other Avengers. You’ll also have creative spaces for kids and a permanent exhibit of over 350 original Marvel artworks. The rooftop-style bar gives you a panoramic view over the New York skyline.

Who it’s made for
Pros and cons
The highlights
- Right next to the parks, an easy walk away
- A one-of-a-kind dive into the Marvel universe
- Heated indoor and outdoor pool
- Early park access with Extra Magic Time
The downsides
- Prices higher than at the other resort hotels
- Buffet restaurant can get noisy, and the spa areas (sauna and steam room) are separated by gender
My verdict
This four-star hotel makes a statement with its urban, modern style, a sharp break from every other Disney hotel. What makes it shine is the feel of a contemporary art gallery and its carefully run upscale services.
I’ve stayed here 2 times, the last one in 2024. What I enjoy most is the mood at the Super Hero Station when it’s photo time, along with the original signature cocktails at the Skyline Bar. Rooms are roomy and modern. Still, in my experience the evening buffets can get a bit noisy at the busiest times. It’s not cheap, but a ten-minute walk to the parks makes the money worth it.
If you’re a couple, or a family with teens who are big Marvel fans, I can’t recommend it enough. If a more traditional Disney feel is what you want, pick another hotel.

Your questions about this hotel
01 What’s the best Disney hotel for Marvel fans?
Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel is the hotel for super hero fans. Fully redesigned around Marvel art, it displays over 350 original works (Iron Man, Spider-Man, Avengers, Black Panther). The vibe is more chic and contemporary than you might expect, and it really is as much a Marvel museum as a hotel. It’s a 10-minute walk from the parks, right on the Disney lake.
02 Which of the Disney hotels have a pool?
5 of the 7 official Disney hotels have a pool: the Disneyland Hotel (indoor pool only, with a hot tub, steam room, and sauna), Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel (indoor and outdoor), Newport Bay Club (indoor and outdoor, with a large pool), Sequoia Lodge (indoor and outdoor), and Davy Crockett Ranch (indoor, the biggest at the resort, with a waterslide). Hotel Cheyenne and Hotel Santa Fe don’t have a pool.
03 What theme does each Disney hotel have?
Each Disney hotel has its own world: the Disneyland Hotel is themed around princesses and royalty, Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel celebrates Marvel superheroes through works of art, Newport Bay Club evokes seafaring New England, Sequoia Lodge takes you into a Bambi-style forest, Hotel Cheyenne recreates a Wild West town complete with a saloon, Hotel Santa Fe draws on Cars and Route 66, and Davy Crockett Ranch offers cabins out in the woods.
04 What’s the difference between the Standard, Plus, Extra Plus, and Premium dining options?
Right now there are four options for arrivals up to March 31, 2027, and your hotel determines which one applies. Standard is for Davy Crockett Ranch and the Santa Fe. Plus is for the Cheyenne, Sequoia Lodge, Newport Bay Club, and New York - The Art of Marvel. Each one opens up a set of restaurants, and the higher the tier, the bigger the choice. Extra Plus (every hotel but the Disneyland Hotel, with a full-board meal plan) gives you one character meal per stay. On top of that, you get an afternoon snack and a drink each night. Premium (only at the Disneyland Hotel) covers character meals, as many as your vouchers allow. Arrivals starting April 1, 2027, will switch to Essential, Extra, Signature, and Royal instead.
05 What’s the best Disney hotel for a couple without kids?
For a couple’s getaway, the Disneyland Hotel is still my top pick: a royal atmosphere, a princess theme, polished service, and it’s so close to the parks that heading back to your room is easy. Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel also wins over couples with its chic vibe and contemporary design inspired by Marvel artwork. If you want peace and quiet, Davy Crockett Ranch in the forest lets the two of you really unplug.
