It’s really common to misplace something during a day at the park. Getting it back is straightforward, and collecting it in person won’t cost you a cent. Below is the exact process, both while you’re still inside and once you’re back home.
Lost something at Disneyland Paris? Here’s what to do
Still in the park: tell a staff member. Report the loss where you think you dropped the item (ride, restaurant, or store). Staff can start a first search.
Still in the park: stop by the lost and found office. Go to City Hall (Disneyland Park) or right next to Studio Services (the guest services desk at the entrance to the second park). Both offices are open during park hours.
Already gone: file a report online. Back home, or nothing found on site? Submit a report about your item through Troov, the official platform. The Disneyland Paris mobile app works for this too.
Where are the lost and found offices?
There are two lost and found offices, open during park hours.
For Disneyland Park, head to City Hall, the building on Main Street right after you walk in. For Disney Adventure World (the second park), the office is beside Studio Services, the guest services desk by the entrance.
To pinpoint both locations and see everything you can take care of there, check out City Hall and Studio Services.
How do you report a lost item online?
Disneyland Paris runs its lost and found through the Troov platform. Every online loss report goes through the Troov site set up for the resort. It covers both parks, the Disney hotels, and Disney Village.
Filing a report is free. You describe the item, the date, and roughly where you lost it. The team then checks whether anything matches your description. You can also report the loss from the Disneyland Paris mobile app.
Good to know: Troov doesn’t physically store anything. The platform matches your report with the park’s lost and found department, which holds the items and verifies them.
To reach the department directly by phone or email, see contacting Disneyland Paris.
How long does Disneyland Paris keep lost items?
Items are kept for a limited time before being cleared out. Valuables (wallet, bag, phone, camera, credit or debit card) are usually held longer than small everyday things.
The department doesn’t publish a set timeframe, and these periods can vary. So the safest move is to report your loss as soon as possible, without waiting.
How do you get a found item back?
Once your item has been identified, you’ll be contacted through your report. You then have two options:
- Pickup in person
- it’s free. Show proof of identity or give a precise description at the lost and found office.
- Shipping by mail
- also possible, but you cover the postage. It depends on the item and where it’s going.
You pay nothing to have the item returned. The only cost is postage if you want it mailed.
With certain rides, the team can’t inspect the track until the ride shuts down at the end of the day. That means anything you drop mid-ride might only turn up that evening. Don’t panic if there’s no news straight away.
Lost something in transit
If you lost something outside the park, you’ll be dealing with someone else:
- Magical Shuttle
- Troov has a separate page for the shuttle. You report it there, not on the parks page.
- Train or RER (the Paris commuter train)
- contact Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station or use the SNCF lost and found form.
Before you file anything, figure out where the item most likely went missing, because the park and your transportation are handled by separate departments.
Lowering the risk of losing things
- Put your name and cell number on anything valuable.
- Use the lockers for your fragile belongings while you’re on thrill rides.
- Take pictures of your things before your visit: handy for describing them if they go missing.
- Check your pockets and your bag when you exit each ride.

Frequently asked questions
01 How long are lost items kept?
Items are held for a limited time, and valuables are generally kept longer than small everyday things. Lost and found doesn’t publish a fixed time frame, and it can vary. So report your loss as soon as you can, without waiting.
02 Does it cost anything to get a lost item back?
No, picking it up in person is free. Bring proof of ID or a precise description to the lost and found office. Only shipping by mail costs money, with postage that varies by item and destination.
03 Dropped something on a ride? Here’s what to do
Report it to the ride staff and to the lost and found office. Keep in mind that on some rides, the tracks can only be checked after closing, at the end of the day. So a dropped item may not turn up until that evening.
04 Where do I report something I left on the shuttle or train?
For the Magical Shuttle, Troov has a dedicated page, separate from the one for the parks. For an item lost on the train or the RER (Paris commuter train), contact Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station or use the SNCF lost and found form.
05 How do I report and recover a lost item at Disneyland Paris?
While you’re there, go to the lost and found office (at City Hall in Disneyland Park, at Studio Services in the second park) or let a Cast Member know. After you’ve left, report the item online on the official Troov platform. Add a photo and a detailed description (color, brand, contents, date, and place) to improve your chances. Picking it up on site is free, and only shipping by mail costs extra.
