Coming in by train, suitcases in hand? Heading home in the evening after checkout? Would rather not haul a heavy winter coat around from morning to night? Luggage storage solves all of that. Below, I cover where your bags can go, how much it costs, and how the system works.
Why use luggage storage, and when does it make sense?
Luggage storage lets you leave your bulky belongings in a supervised spot while you visit. You pick your bags up on your way out. The point is simple: exploring the parks without being weighed down.
- The day you arrive, if your room isn’t available yet
- On departure day, after you’ve checked out
- If you’re coming for the day by train, suitcases in tow
- In winter, so you don’t have to carry coats and scarves all day
- After a big shopping haul you’d rather not drag around
- For a folded stroller you won’t need again that day

Where can you leave your luggage at Disneyland Paris?
You have three places to drop off your suitcases. Disney runs two of them, and the station runs the third. One point often causes confusion: at the park, you won’t find self-service lockers but a counter staffed by a Cast Member. The actual automatic lockers are at the station.
At Disneyland Park
This is the main spot for storing bags. Look to the right as you face the Disneyland Park entrance, close to Guest Relations. Disney runs it officially, and everything happens at a counter: no fixed lockers here, a Cast Member handles your belongings personally. Cash and cards are both accepted.
At the Disney hotels
Staying at one of the Disney hotels? Your bags can go in the hotel’s luggage room, which is usually at the front desk. Disney runs this service officially, and hotel guests pay nothing for it.

At the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy TGV station
The station has automatic lockers upstairs, before Disney’s security check. Important: this service is not run by Disney. The station manages it, not the park. The lockers can’t be reserved and are often full on weekends and during school breaks. Cards and contactless payment are now accepted.
How much does luggage storage cost?
What you pay varies with how big your things are and which option you pick. Here are the three side by side.
| Size | Disneyland Park | Disney hotel | TGV station |
|---|---|---|---|
| Accessories | €5 | Free | €5.50 |
| Small | €11 | Free | €7.50 |
| Large | €15 | Free | €9.50 |
Prices are approximate and subject to change.
Which bag sizes and categories?
You won’t find official measurements from Disney down to the centimeter. At the park counter, it’s up to the Cast Member to decide which size category your things fall into. Below are the three categories, plus a few examples so you can tell where your bags belong.
- Accessories motorcycle helmet, shopping bag, umbrella, small purse
- Small standard backpack, medium gym bag, soft duffel bag
- Large checked suitcase, big travel bag, folded stroller
Hours and how it works
The Disneyland Park luggage storage is open every day from 8:00 and stays available until 45 minutes after Disneyland Park closes. You can’t reserve: it’s first come, first served at the counter. At the station, the lockers are self-service, every day from 7:00 to 22:00. You pay a drop-off fee, then €5 per item for each 24 hours, up to a maximum of 72 hours.
Disney Express: get your bags delivered to your hotel
Don’t mix it up with luggage storage: Disney Express doesn’t hold your things on site, it takes them straight from the station to your hotel. You arrive hands-free and head into the parks without waiting for check-in time.
When you arrive, drop your bags at the Disney Express desk, one floor up in Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station, between 7:45 and 21:00. You check in to your hotel right there (pre-check-in) and leave with your park tickets, while your suitcases are delivered to your hotel. On departure day, drop your bags at your hotel’s luggage room before 11:00, then pick them up at the station desk between 13:00 and 21:00. The service costs extra (expect €18 per person), must be booked ahead, and is for guests of Disney hotels and Partner Hotels (except Davy Crockett Ranch and Center Parcs Villages Nature).
