At a glance

The Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel is a four-star hotel paying tribute to New York culture and comic book artists. With 561 rooms, this Disney hotel is a full-scale permanent exhibition of hundreds of original works featuring the Avengers and their allies.

The architecture takes its cue from the skyscrapers of Manhattan, giving it an urban, refined setting. Inside, it feels like a modern loft or a sophisticated art gallery. Every space, from the corridors to the public areas, showcases the work of the artists who shaped the look of the superheroes.

What sets this hotel apart from the other places to stay at Disneyland Paris is its theme, the only one of its kind in the world. It doesn’t just offer a room: it also has creative activity spaces and exclusive meet and greet spots. Guests also get practical services such as the free shuttle bus and access to the parks before official opening.

Dining ranges from an international buffet to elegant table service. For families, family rooms and drawing workshops combine comfort with themed fun. You can also add a half-board plan that includes breakfast.

What makes it stand out

Super Hero Station. This immersive photo spot is exclusively for guests of this hotel, where you can meet Spider-Man or other Avengers. You also get creative spaces for kids and a permanent exhibition of over 350 original Marvel artworks. The bar, set up high, offers a panoramic view over the rooftops of New York.

My verdict

Julie
Julie ★★★★★ 200+ visits since 2023

This four-star hotel has an urban, modern style that sets it apart from the rest of the Disney hotels. Its strength lies in its contemporary art gallery feel and its polished, upmarket service.

I’ve stayed here 2 times, most recently in 2024. I particularly like the atmosphere of the Super Hero Station for photos and the original signature cocktails at the Skyline Bar. The rooms are spacious and modern, although I find the evening buffets can be a little noisy at peak times. The price is high, but being just a ten-minute walk from the parks makes it worth the money.

I warmly recommend it to couples or families with teens who are fans of the Marvel world. Don’t choose it if you’re after a more traditional Disney atmosphere.

Your questions about this hotel

01 Which Disney hotel is best for Marvel fans?

Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel is the hotel for superhero fans: completely redesigned around Marvel art, it displays over 350 original works (Iron Man, Spider-Man, Avengers, Black Panther). The atmosphere is more stylish and contemporary than you might expect, and it really is as much a Marvel museum as a hotel. It is a 10-minute walk from the parks, on the shore of Lake Disney.

02 Which Disney hotels have a pool?

5 of the 7 official Disney hotels have a pool: the Disneyland Hotel (indoor pool only, with hot tub, steam room and sauna), the Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel (indoor and outdoor), the Newport Bay Club (indoor and outdoor with a large pool), the Sequoia Lodge (indoor and outdoor) and the Davy Crockett Ranch (indoor, the largest in the resort, with a slide). The Hotel Cheyenne and the Hotel Santa Fe don’t have a pool.

03 What are the themes of the Disney hotels?

Each Disney hotel has its own world: the Disneyland Hotel has a princess and royal theme, Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel celebrates the Marvel superheroes through works of art, the Newport Bay Club recalls nautical New England, the Sequoia Lodge takes you into the forest in the style of Bambi, Disney Hotel Cheyenne recreates a Wild West town with its saloon, Disney Hotel Santa Fe draws on Cars and Route 66, and the Davy Crockett Ranch offers mobile homes deep in the woods.

04 What is the difference between the Standard, Plus, Extra Plus and Premium meal plans?

These are the four current options, for arrivals up to 31 March 2027, and which one you get depends on your hotel. The Standard option covers the Davy Crockett Ranch and the Santa Fe. The Plus option covers the Cheyenne, the Sequoia Lodge, the Newport Bay Club and the New York - The Art of Marvel. Both give access to a selection of restaurants, which gets wider as you move up the range. Extra Plus (all hotels except the Disneyland Hotel, on full board) adds one character meal per stay. It also includes an afternoon snack and a drink per night. Premium (Disneyland Hotel only) includes character meals, as many as your vouchers allow. For arrivals from 1 April 2027, these options are replaced by Essentiel, Extra, Signature and Royal.

05 Which Disney hotel should couples without kids choose?

For a couple’s stay, the Disneyland Hotel is still my first choice: royal atmosphere, princess theming, polished service, and being right next to the parks makes it easy to pop back to your room. The Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel also appeals to couples with its stylish atmosphere and contemporary design inspired by Marvel artwork. If you want peace and quiet, the Davy Crockett Ranch in the forest is a proper getaway for two.
