Most Disney hotels at Disneyland Paris have a pool, indoor and sometimes outdoor too, included with your stay. Two hotels are the exception and have none at all: the Disney Hotel Cheyenne and the Disney Hotel Santa Fe (the two most budget-friendly Disney hotels). Here’s the full comparison so you can see at a glance who has what.
Which Disney hotels have a pool?
Most Disney hotels have a pool. The table below lists each hotel with its pool and its type (the details come straight from the hotel pages, so they’re always current).
The only two Disney hotels without a pool are the Disney Hotel Cheyenne and the Disney Hotel Santa Fe. Good to know: if you stay at either one, you can’t use the pool at another Disney hotel. Access is limited to guests of that specific hotel.

The pools, hotel by hotel
Disneyland Hotel: an upscale indoor pool
This 5-star hotel has a covered, heated indoor pool, Crystal Pool, with a kids’ pool and a hot tub. It’s polished, fairly quiet, and open year-round. It’s the most refined pool in the resort. One thing to know: there’s no outdoor pool here. If you want an open-air swim in summer, this isn’t the place for it.
Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel: indoor and outdoor
This 4-star hotel has an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, both heated, called the Metro Pool. You can move from one to the other. The indoor pool stays open all year, while the outdoor one mostly runs in the warmer months.
Newport Bay Club: indoor and outdoor pool
The Newport Bay Club (4 stars) has heated indoor and outdoor pools, the Nantucket Pool, connected so you can swim from one to the other. The indoor pool is open year-round, and the outdoor pool closes in the colder months.
Sequoia Lodge: a pool with a waterslide
The Sequoia Lodge (4 stars) has heated indoor and outdoor pools, Quarry Pool, with a waterslide and a waterfall. It’s a great pick for families: kids love the slide, and the decor, inspired by wide-open wilderness, is well done. The outdoor pool closes in the colder months, while the indoor one stays open all year.
Davy Crockett Ranch: an indoor pool with a waterslide
The Davy Crockett Ranch has a large heated indoor pool with a waterslide, Blue Springs Pool, in a nature setting (river, wooden bridge, rocks). It’s a water complex families really like. Keep the location in mind, though: the property is about 20 minutes by car from the parks, with no free shuttle bus. So the pool is mainly a plus if you’re staying there.
Indoor or outdoor pools: what to know
This is the question that comes up most often. The rule is simple: indoor pools are heated and open year-round, while outdoor pools close in the colder months. In practice, only the covered pools are open in winter. The outdoor sections reopen when the weather allows, usually once the warm days return. To find out whether an outdoor pool is open right now, check the current closures below.
Pools closed right now
A pool can close from time to time: renovation, technical maintenance, or a seasonal closure of an outdoor pool. Rather than dates that go stale quickly, here’s the up-to-date status of pool closures:
No pool closures announced at the moment.
Several partner and nearby hotels also have a pool. The standout is the Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris, with its large Aqua Mundo water area (open year-round). A few other partner hotels offer one as well. To choose your hotel by comfort level, price, and distance, see all the hotels compared.
Is there a water park at Disneyland Paris?
No, Disneyland Paris doesn’t have a water park as such: no big complex with giant slides and lazy rivers, as people sometimes picture. The closest thing on-site is the hotel pools, especially at the Sequoia Lodge and the Davy Crockett Ranch, which both have waterslides.
For a real water park, the nearest is Aqua Mundo, at the Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris (about fifteen minutes away): a large heated tropical space, open year-round, with an indoor section and a big outdoor area (lake views, wild river, loungers and sunbathing spots), slides, and a lagoon. It’s the option to go for if splashing around is really your top priority.

Frequently asked questions
01 Do Disney’s hotel pools have heated water, and do they stay open all year?
Yes, the pools at the Disney hotels are heated. Indoor pools are heated and stay open all year. Outdoor pools, like the one at the Newport Bay Club, only run in the warmer months and close for the winter. Hours differ from hotel to hotel, so I recommend checking before your trip.
02 Is the outdoor pool open in winter?
No. The outdoor pools close during the cold season. In winter, only the covered indoor pools are open. The outdoor sections reopen when the warm weather returns, depending on conditions.
03 Which Disney hotel pool is the most fun for kids?
For a fun pool, go for a hotel with a waterslide: Sequoia Lodge (Quarry Pool) and Davy Crockett Ranch are the only two that have one. Sequoia Lodge is my top pick for a family getting around on foot. Davy Crockett Ranch has the biggest pool in the resort, with a slide and waterfalls, but you can only get there by car. If you’d rather have large shallow areas for little ones, the Newport Bay Club and Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel are a great fit. Water wings and swim rings are lent free of charge.
04 Which Disney hotels have a water slide?
Two Disney hotels have a water slide in their pool: Sequoia Lodge (Quarry Pool) and Davy Crockett Ranch (Blue Springs Pool). They’re the two best choices if a fun pool is your main priority.
05 Is the hotel pool open to people who aren’t staying there?
No. Only guests of that hotel can swim there, and it comes with the stay. Day visitors can’t get in, and neither can people staying at a different hotel. Your room key card opens the door, and it stops working once you check out.
06 Which Disney hotels don’t have a pool?
Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Hotel Santa Fe have no pool. They’re the two most affordable Disney hotels. Their guests can’t use another Disney hotel’s pool.
