At a glance
A 4-star hotel inspired by Haussmann-era Paris, located in Serris, a few minutes from the parks. This Disneyland Paris partner hotel has a free shuttle to the parks and the TGV station. Open since 2002, Hôtel l’Elysée Val d’Europe is a 4-star hotel with 152 rooms and suites, starting at 24 m² and sleeping 1 to 4 people (up to 8 with the connecting rooms). It’s one of the Disneyland Paris partner hotels.
Its architecture draws on the grand Haussmann buildings of Paris, and the latest renovation dates from March 2016. The atmosphere goes for a "just like home" feel: soft tones, a cozy lobby, and a library corner with board games. The front of the building looks onto Place d’Ariane, in the middle of the neighborhood around the Serris RER station.
What sets this Disney partner hotel apart from the hotels in the Disney resort: lower prices, a free shuttle to the parks and to the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy TGV station, the RER A 50 meters away, and the Val d’Europe shopping mall and La Vallée Village right next door. The family room (Quadruple or Connecting) is still the most popular option with first-time visitors.
For dining, Le George restaurant serves seasonal food made with fresh ingredients, with vegan and gluten-free options and a covered terrace open all year. Le Diplomate bar serves cocktails, organic wines, champagne, and tapas until midnight. The American-style breakfast buffet is available at an extra charge. There’s no Disney half-board meal plan, since this is an outside partner hotel.
RER right next door. Steps from Val d’Europe station, this partner hotel gets you to the parks in a few minutes by train. Its grand Paris boulevard architecture gives it an elegant, upscale feel at a competitive price. You’re also right by the shopping mall and the SEA LIFE Paris Val d’Europe aquarium.

My verdict
This four-star partner hotel relies on Haussmann-inspired elegance to win over travelers who want upscale comfort at a much lower price than the resort’s official hotels. Its city location in central Serris is a real breath of fresh air for shoppers.
I haven’t stayed here or tried it out myself. My opinion is based only on the hotel’s website, feedback from people I know, online reviews, and a visit to the hotel lobby, nothing more. I can see that the RER A station, just 50 meters away, gets you to the parks in barely a few minutes. Reviews praise the quality of the Le George brasserie and the upscale connecting rooms, even though there’s no Disney theming at all.
Ideal for adults, shopping fans thanks to La Vallée Village right nearby, and mid-range budgets. Not a good fit if you want a Disney atmosphere all day, from morning to night.

Extra services
At Hôtel l’Elysée Val d’Europe, a handful of add-on services can make your time there even nicer.
On the room side, you can request an arrival ahead of check-in time or a later departure, have a crib set up, add romantic touches, or get champagne brought up.
At the restaurant, the team can make a birthday cake.
These services must be booked ahead of time, either when you make your reservation or at the front desk, and depend on availability at the time.
Map & getting there
The hotel is in Serris, in the middle of Val d’Europe, with the RER A 50 meters away and the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy TGV (high-speed train) station. Plan on less than 10 minutes on the free shuttle to the entrance of the Disneyland Paris parks. La Vallée Village and the Val d’Europe shopping mall are right across from the hotel.

Your questions about this hotel
01 Official Disney hotel vs. partner hotel: what’s the difference?
An official Disney hotel is run by Disneyland Paris and comes with exclusive perks: Extra Magic Time in the morning before official opening, free delivery of your store purchases to the hotel, and a fully themed atmosphere. A partner hotel (Explorers, Adagio, B&B, and others) is a privately run hotel near the resort, usually cheaper, but without Extra Magic Time or the Disney theming. For me, staying at a Disney hotel really changes how immersed you feel, but if money is tight, partner hotels are still a decent option.
02 Disney hotel or partner hotel: which one should you pick?
It all depends on your budget and your game plan. Disney hotel: you get Extra Magic Time (entry to the parks up to 1 hour before official opening, on a selection of headline rides), delivery of your purchases to the hotel, the official shuttle service, and a themed atmosphere. Partner hotel (Explorers, Adagio, B&B, and others): prices are often lower, a free shuttle is usually offered but it isn’t an official Disney one, and breakfast isn’t always included in the rate (check when you book). For a first trip, I’d lean toward a Disney hotel. To make the most of your budget, go with a partner hotel.
03 Are there shuttles between the Disney hotels and the parks?
Yes, free shuttles serve most of the official Disney hotels. Some hotels are also within walking distance (Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge). The Davy Crockett Ranch has no shuttle, so you really need a car there (its guests get free parking at the parks). You’ll find the schedule at the hotel front desk or in the Disneyland Paris app.
04 Should you go for an all-inclusive package, or book your hotel, train, and tickets one by one?
In most cases, I find it cheaper to book transportation separately from lodging and tickets. The best approach is often to book the hotel and tickets on the official Disneyland Paris website, then buy your SNCF train tickets on your own. It means two bookings instead of one, but the total usually comes out lower. All-inclusive packages (like Carrefour Voyages) are still worth it for simplicity, with no need to compare.
05 How much does a Disneyland Paris vacation cost?
The price of a stay varies a lot depending on the hotel you pick. For a 2-day, 1-night stay for 2 adults and 2 kids with park tickets included, expect about €600 at the cheapest official Disney hotel and up to €1,100 at the most upscale one. On top of that, you need to add meals: the amount depends on the type of restaurant, but I recommend budgeting at least €300 for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner over the 2 days. All in all, plan on €900 to €1,400 for this kind of trip. For a single day only, the 1-day 1-park ticket starts at €49 per adult with a Bon Plan ticket: in that case, plan a budget of at least about €400 for a one-day visit for 2 adults and 2 kids, meals included.
