Located right at the gates of Disneyland Park, the 5-star Disneyland Hotel was renovated and opened its doors again in 2024. Above its standard rooms, it has two Club levels: Deluxe and Castle Club. Castle Club sits at the very top of the range, so it also costs the most.
Both include access to a lounge (a private room set aside for Club guests), a dedicated front desk, and breakfast, but Castle Club goes further (breakfast with the princesses, Castle views, a private elevator to the park, suites). This article sticks to neutral facts, to help you decide between the two.
The Disneyland Hotel’s two Club levels
"Club" means a package of premium services added on to your room, not a separate type of room. At the Disneyland Hotel, the options come in three tiers: standard room < Deluxe < Castle Club. A standard room already puts you inside the hotel with access to its amenities. Upgrading to Club adds access to a private space (the lounge), a dedicated front desk and concierge, and breakfast included, served in a quieter setting.
With a standard room, breakfast is at the Royal Banquet, which has beautifully detailed decor. With Club, you have it in the private lounge, which is more relaxed and less busy. Deluxe is the first Club tier. Castle Club, the highest, piles on even more exclusive perks.
The Deluxe level
With the Deluxe Experience, you get a Deluxe room, entry to the Deluxe Lounge, and some added services. Your breakfast and an afternoon snack (Tea Time) come with it, although no characters appear. Think of it as one rung above a standard room.
- Private front desk and concierge A dedicated check-in area, separate from the hotel’s main front desk.
- Deluxe Lounge Your own private room facing the Fantasia Gardens (the landscaped area by the hotel entrance), and the place where you have breakfast and Tea Time.
- Buffet breakfast Set out each morning in the lounge, with no characters.
- Afternoon Tea Time An afternoon snack included in the lounge.
- Unlimited non-alcoholic drinks Available all day in the Deluxe Lounge.
- Room with different decor Carefully finished with a canopy above the bed, and themed after Disney royal tales.
The Castle Club level
Castle Club is the most upscale level at the Disneyland Hotel: a hotel within the hotel, with its top two floors set aside for its guests. It includes everything Deluxe offers, plus breakfast with the princesses, champagne, a lounge looking out on the Castle, a private elevator to the park, reserved floors, and suites.
- Breakfast with the princesses Included. Mickey, Minnie, and princesses stop by your table (they take turns). The characters you’ll see can change from day to day.
- Champagne at breakfast One complimentary glass for adults, included with the breakfast drinks.
- Castle Club Lounge with Castle views Looks out on Sleeping Beauty Castle, so you can watch the nighttime show and the fireworks from there.
- Themed Tea Time A royal-style afternoon snack served with flair.
- Private elevator to Disneyland Park Direct access to the park (all the way to the entry gate) without going back through the lobby.
- Private floors The hotel’s top two floors, set aside for Castle Club guests, with princesses visiting the floor.
- Suites The Disneyland Hotel suites are only available with Castle Club.
- Private front desk and concierge A dedicated check-in area on the Castle Club floor.
The private elevator to Disneyland Park
Castle Club has a private elevator that takes you straight down to Disneyland Park, right to the entry gate. No need to go back through the hotel lobby. Keep in mind: this elevator makes getting to the park easier, but it doesn’t replace your ticket or pass, which you still need to get in (see below).
The view from the Castle Club Lounge
The Castle Club Lounge faces Sleeping Beauty Castle. From there, you can watch the nighttime show and the fireworks set off above the park.
This is where it differs from the Deluxe Lounge, whose windows face the Fantasia Gardens instead. Only Castle Club guests may enter, and drinks are unlimited from morning to night, with a wider selection than in the Deluxe Lounge.

How the Deluxe level and Castle Club differ at the Disneyland Hotel.
The rooms and their 11 royal stories
Good to know: the rooms are identical in Deluxe and Castle Club. Each is themed around one of 11 Disney royal stories: Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Frozen, Moana, and Raya and the Last Dragon. They measure up to about 42 m² and come with a lighted canopy over the bed.
So the difference between the two levels isn’t about the room itself, but about the perks that come with it.
With Castle Club, the in-room amenities go up a notch: higher-quality bathrobes and slippers (the bathrobe stays behind when you check out), more upscale bath products, kid-friendly toiletries, and an included minibar. These details can change, so I suggest confirming exactly what’s provided when you book.
Price
Disneyland Paris doesn’t publish Club room rates, and they swing widely with the season, current offers, and how many rooms are left. The ranking, though, never changes: standard is cheaper than Deluxe, Deluxe is cheaper than Castle Club, and Castle Club stays the priciest tier. For a quote on your dates, go through a booking request.
I’ve never personally stayed in a Club room, so I’m keeping to the facts here and won’t judge whether it’s good value. If you want price ranges and help with your budget, check out my guide to Disneyland Paris prices.
Money-saving tip: get added to a Club room
How do you book, and how does park access work?
Club rooms, and Castle Club in particular, are usually booked by phone through the Disneyland Paris reservations line (+33 1 60 30 60 90), which will give you availability and the price for your dates. As for getting into the parks: the room doesn’t include park admission. On top of your stay, you need a valid ticket or pass to enter the parks.
Annual passholders can just show up with no advance booking, as long as the date isn’t blocked out on their pass.

The Disneyland Hotel isn’t the only one with Club floors: Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel (Empire State Club), Newport Bay Club (Compass Club), and Sequoia Lodge (Golden Forest Club) each have their own Club package, which I cover in Club rooms at the other Disney hotels. Frequently asked questions
01 How does Castle Club differ from a Deluxe room at the Disneyland Hotel?
Castle Club gives you everything Deluxe does, then adds breakfast with the princesses, champagne, a lounge looking out on the Castle (nighttime show and fireworks), a private elevator into the park, dedicated floors, and suites. The rooms themselves are the same at both levels.
02 Deluxe or Castle Club: which one should you pick?
It comes down to what matters most to you. Deluxe is plenty if you mainly want a private lounge, plus breakfast and an afternoon snack included in a quiet setting. Castle Club is for those who want breakfast with the princesses, the view of the Castle, the private elevator into the park, or a suite.
03 Is breakfast with the princesses included, and with which Club?
Breakfast with the princesses is only for Castle Club guests at the Disneyland Hotel. It comes included, adults get a complimentary glass of champagne, and which princesses show up can change from one day to the next. In the other Club lounges (Empire State Club, Compass Club, Golden Forest Club), and with a Deluxe room (the upper room tier at the Disneyland Hotel), breakfast is included as a buffet, but without characters.
04 How much does a Club room at the Disneyland Hotel cost?
Prices aren’t published and vary by season and offer. The only sure thing is the order: standard, then Deluxe, then Castle Club, the most expensive. To get a price for your dates, you need to submit a booking request.
05 Is Premier Access included with a Club room?
No. Premier Access is never included, whether in a Deluxe room or the Castle Club. The Castle Club’s private elevator makes getting into the park easier, but it gives you no advantage in the lines.
06 Castle Club (or Deluxe) at the Disneyland Hotel: how do you get one of these rooms?
Castle Club rooms usually don’t show up online, so you need to call the Disneyland Paris reservation center directly at +33 1 60 30 60 90. Availability is very limited (Castle Club takes up only the top two floors of the Disneyland Hotel), so I suggest booking several months ahead, especially during French school vacations. Don’t forget about park entry either: the room doesn’t come with a ticket, so you’ll need a valid ticket or pass on top of it.
07 Should first-timers pay for Premier Access?
No, it isn’t essential. If you arrive right at opening and head for the headline rides first, you’ll cover the essentials without paying extra. Premier Access (a paid priority entrance, sold per ride or as a bundle) mostly makes sense on very busy days or if you can’t get there early. It’s never included, whether with a ticket or with a hotel room.
