This article lists the past Halloween seasons at Disneyland Paris, year by year, beginning with the latest one. You’ll find the 2025, 2024, and 2023 seasons, each laid out the same way so you can compare the programs and remember what you experienced.
The name of the season stays the same: it’s the Disney Halloween Festival every year. Several things come back each time, like the Mickey’s Halloween Celebration parade, meet and greets with the Disney Villains, the fall decorations, seasonal food, and themed merch.
What this article mostly highlights are the things that change: the dates, the new additions, that year’s menus, and the characters who appeared that season.
If you’re after the general background, such as what a typical Halloween day looks like, how the season began, and my visiting tips, my complete guide to the Halloween season covers it all. And if it’s this year’s edition you want, the program for the current season is the page to read.
Halloween 2025
The 2025 Disney Halloween Festival ran from October 1 to November 2, 2025. As every year, on October 31, both parks stayed open later, until 23:00. This season stood out thanks to something I had been hoping for for a long time: brand-new Halloween projections on the building fronts of Main Street U.S.A., a first at Disneyland Paris.
- The parade Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, performed twice a day, with an expanded lineup: José Carioca and Panchito came along to join Donald. For all the details on the parade, see my parade guide.
- The nighttime show Brand-new Halloween projections lit up the building fronts of Main Street U.S.A., only on October 4, 5, 11, and 12, then from October 19 to November 2. They started at nightfall and ended 45 minutes before the Disney Tales of Magic show.
- The decorations All over the park, you’d spot pumpkins, skeletons, and ghosts. That year brought a big first: for the first time since reopening, the Disneyland Hotel got its own Halloween decor.
- Meet and greets and Villains Skeleton Goofy, ghost versions of Chip ’n’ Dale, and their friends in costume. On the Villains side: Cruella, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts, Maleficent, and Captain Hook. To learn all about the Villains, see the Villains guide.
- Activities This time an M&M’s treasure hunt took place inside the park: you had to spot the doors of mystical beings around the lands using a map picked up at the Boardwalk Candy Palace counter, and the reward was a bag of mini M&M’s plus 15% off purchases of €20 or more. See Halloween with the family.

On the dining side, the Lucky Nugget Saloon in Frontierland became the Unlucky Nugget Saloon for the season, with a special menu inspired by Phantom Manor. At the Last Chance Cafe, you could get éclairs decorated with the Phantom Manor silhouettes.
Around the rest of the park and at the Disney hotels, you’d find seasonal snacks and drinks. Disney didn’t release detailed prices that year, so I’d rather not guess at any.
The stores carried the season’s line of Disney Halloween products. To explore the spots, see my restaurants and my stores.
Halloween 2024
The 2024 Disney Halloween Festival took place from October 1 to November 3, 2024. On October 31, both parks stayed open later, until 23:00. The headline of that season was the arrival of a new character fans had been asking for: Mother Gothel, Rapunzel’s "adoptive" mother, visiting Disneyland Paris for the very first time.
- The parade Mickey’s Halloween Celebration came through twice daily, and that season it gained a brand-new float called Mickey’s Manor of Illusions. My parade guide has everything else: my parade guide.
- The nighttime show A Halloween segment was added to Disney Electrical Sky Parade, the drone show: rather than a new show, it brought Halloween-themed scenes into the existing one to close out the day.
- The decorations Pumpkins, skeletons, and ghosts gave the park a fall atmosphere.
- Meet and greets and Villains Goofy, Chip ’n’ Dale, and the rest of the gang showed up in Halloween costumes. The Villains lineup featured Cruella, Jafar, and Captain Hook, joined by the season’s headliner, Mother Gothel, who stayed for the whole festival. Miguel from Coco also greeted guests in Frontierland, while Stitch dressed as a vampire in Discoveryland. Everything about the Villains is in the Villains guide.
- Activities That season, Disney Village hosted the M&M’s treasure hunt, and Frontierland had its own M&M’s zone. More on this in Halloween with the family.

Restaurants and bars, both in the park and at the hotels, offered original Halloween-themed meals and cocktails. Disney didn’t share the dishes or the prices for that season, so I’m sticking to what was officially announced and not making up any prices.
In the stores, you’d find a collection of exclusive Halloween products. To explore the spots, see my restaurants and my stores.
Halloween 2023
The 2023 Disney Halloween Festival ran from October 1 to November 5, 2023. On October 31, park hours were extended until 23:00, with no paid evening party that year: a regular one-day ticket got you in, and costumes were allowed (see the Halloween evening).
This was the first season I covered closely, so I treat it as my yardstick when I look at the later ones. Its food highlight was something new: Halloween cocktails.
- The parade Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, led by the Mischievous Spirits. For all the details on the parade, see my parade guide.
- The nighttime show The castle stage hosted the Disney Villains twilight show, which had premiered in 2022 and came back for that season.
- The decorations A strong fall look, with about 37,000 seasonal plants, pumpkins, and brighter fall colors throughout the park.
- Meet and greets and Villains The characters were split into three themed teams: the Villains, the Mysterious Hosts, and the Mischievous Spirits. On the Villains side: Maleficent, Cruella, Jafar, Gaston, Oogie Boogie, Ursula, and Captain Hook. To learn all about the Villains, see the Villains guide.
- Activities That season relied mostly on parades, meet and greets, and fall decorations, with no M&M’s treasure hunt, which only arrived in later seasons. For an overview of family activities, see Halloween with the family.

Frequently asked questions
01 What’s the name of the Halloween season at Disneyland Paris?
The season is called the Disney Halloween Festival. The official name stays the same every year, and only the program and the new additions change from one edition to the next.
02 Does Disneyland Paris still hold a paid Halloween party?
No. The former Disney Halloween Party, which needed its own ticket, held its last edition in 2022 and was dropped in 2023. Today the whole Halloween season comes with a regular park ticket, and there’s no sign it’s coming back.
