At a glance
You’ll find New Century Notions - Flora’s Unique Boutique right where Main Street U.S.A. begins. The name is a tribute to Flora Call Disney, Walt’s mother. On the ground by the door, a mosaic features an "F" encircled by the year 1888, when Walt Disney’s parents were married.
The architecture follows the late nineteenth-century Victorian style, with a facade featuring a pink sign and striped awnings. Inside, there are hardwood floors, pastel tones, carved woodwork, colorful stained glass, and lit display cases. The windows show vintage travel items, an inkwell desk, black and white photo frames, dishes, antique furniture, and old books. The vintage telephone from the previous shop was kept as decor.
The shop specializes in seasonal products, in step with the park’s big moments: Halloween, Christmas, spring. The selection includes Disney ears, plush toys, costumes, toys, pins, figurines, magnets, mugs, pens, clothing, and souvenirs that blend Disney and Paris (Eiffel Tower miniatures, suitcases, snow globes, puzzles), plus photo printing and PhotoPass+ services. An indoor passage connects the store to the neighboring Boardwalk Candy Palace.
Flora’s mosaic, a nod to Walt Disney’s mother. Look down as you walk in: the mosaic floor displays a big "F" circled by the year 1888, when Walt Disney’s parents got married. It’s a tribute to his mother, Flora Call Disney. Most of what’s sold here is seasonal and changes throughout the year, and the shop also offers PhotoPass+, carried over from Town Square Photography, which it took the place of in 2014.
What you’ll find
History
The shop opened on August 1, 2014, replacing Town Square Photography (closed on January 18, 2014). It carries on that shop’s legacy: the photo service, PhotoPass+, and the old vintage telephone displayed as decor.

The downsides
- Some find the decor less detailed than what Town Square Photography had
- Outside the major event seasons, you barely notice it’s a seasonal shop
My verdict
Julie’s tip
Best time to go
Go at park opening or in mid-afternoon, when the parade isn’t passing by. The seasonal selection changes along with the park’s seasons.

Your questions about this shop
01 Where can you buy Disney merchandise at Disneyland Paris?
There are four main places to shop: Disneyland Park (Main Street U.S.A. above all, plus every land), Disney Adventure World, Disney Village (open to everyone, no park ticket required), and, if you book an official Disney hotel, the shop inside your hotel. My dedicated article walks you through the main shops.
02 Is there a way to shop without lugging bags around all day?
Yes. The Shopping Service lets you have your purchases sent to a pickup point, so you can collect them later at the same shop, at another shop on your way out of the park, or even at your Disney hotel’s shop. The service is free in most shops (with a minimum purchase). Just ask the cast member at checkout.
03 What are the shop hours?
Shops inside the parks roughly follow park hours, often opening a little earlier on Main Street U.S.A. and closing a little later after the nighttime show. Disney Village shops have their own hours, usually running later into the evening. You’ll find the exact hours in the Disneyland Paris app.
04 Can you buy Disneyland Paris merchandise online?
There’s no official Disneyland Paris online store. To shop from home, you can use the Disney Store website (formerly shopDisney), which sells official Disney merchandise and sometimes a few items specific to Disneyland Paris. At the resort itself, you buy everything directly in the shops.
