Most Disney hotels at Disneyland Paris have a swimming pool, indoor and sometimes outdoor too, included in your stay. Two hotels are the exception and have no pool at all: Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Hotel Santa Fe (the two cheapest Disney hotels). Here’s the full comparison so you can see who has what at a glance.

Which Disney hotels have a swimming pool?

Most Disney hotels have a swimming pool. The table below lists each hotel with its pool and its type (the information comes straight from the hotel pages, so it’s always up to date).

The only two Disney hotels without a pool are Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Hotel Santa Fe. Good to know: if you’re staying at one of them, you can’t use the pool at another Disney hotel. Access is for guests of that hotel only.

The pools hotel by hotel

Disneyland Hotel: an upmarket indoor pool

The 5-star hotel has a heated indoor pool, Crystal Pool, with a children’s pool and a hot tub. It’s well kept and fairly quiet, and open all year round. It’s the most polished pool in the resort. One thing to know: there’s no outdoor pool here. If you want to swim in the open air in summer, this isn’t the place for it.

Disney Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel: indoor and outdoor

This 4-star hotel has an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, both heated, the Metro Pool. You can swim from one to the other. The indoor pool is open all year round, while the outdoor one is mainly open in the warmer months.

Newport Bay Club: indoor and outdoor pool

The Newport Bay Club (4 stars) has a heated indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool, the Nantucket Pool, linked so you can swim from one to the other. The indoor pool is open all year round, while the outdoor one closes in the colder months.

Sequoia Lodge: a pool with a slide

The Sequoia Lodge (4 stars) has a heated indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool, Quarry Pool, with a slide and a waterfall. It’s a great choice for families: children love the slide, and the setting, inspired by the great outdoors, is beautifully done. The outdoor pool closes in the colder months, while the indoor one stays open all year round.

Davy Crockett Ranch: an indoor pool with a slide

The Davy Crockett Ranch has a large heated indoor pool with a slide, Blue Springs Pool, in a natural setting (river, wooden bridge, rocks). It’s a water complex that families love. Bear the location in mind, though: the site is around 20 minutes from the parks by car, with no free shuttle bus. So the pool is mainly a plus if you’re staying there.

Indoor or outdoor pools: what you need to know

This is the question I’m asked most often. It’s simple: indoor pools are heated and open all year round, outdoor pools close in the colder months. In practice, only the covered pools are open in winter. The outdoor sections reopen when the weather allows, usually when the warmer days return. To find out whether an outdoor pool is open right now, see the current closures further down.

Swimming pools closed right now

A pool can close from time to time: refurbishment, technical maintenance or the seasonal closure of an outdoor pool. Rather than dates that quickly go out of date, here’s the latest status of pool closures:

Several partner and nearby hotels also have a pool. The most impressive is Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris, with its large Aqua Mundo water park (open all year round). Some other partner hotels have one too. To choose your hotel by standard, price and distance, see all the hotels compared.

Is there a water park at Disneyland Paris?

No, Disneyland Paris doesn’t have a water park as such: no big complex with giant slides and rivers, as people sometimes imagine. The closest thing on site is the hotel pools, especially those at the Sequoia Lodge and the Davy Crockett Ranch, which have slides.

For a proper water park, the nearest is Aqua Mundo, at Center Parcs Villages Nature Paris (about a quarter of an hour away): a large heated tropical complex, open all year round, with an indoor section and a big outdoor area (lake view, wild river, loungers and sunbathing areas), slides and a lagoon. It’s the option to go for if fun in the water is really your priority.
