How I work out queue times
Here’s how I calculate these figures, from the times displayed by Disney.
- I record the displayed queue time every 5 minutes, since June 2026.
- This is the queue time announced by Disney, not the time you actually spend queuing.
- I only count public opening hours.
- A ride that is closed or broken down is never counted.
- I don’t rank stations and trains, walk-through attractions, play areas and the shooting gallery.
- Rides and days with too few readings are not ranked.

Time saved with Single Rider: the 3 biggest savings, then the 2 smallest.
Ratatouille : L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy had the biggest saving with Single Rider.
How I measure time saved
Here’s how I measure the time saved, from the times displayed by Disney.
- I only count public opening hours.
- Extra Magic Time: I compare each ride with the rest of the day.
- Single Rider: I compare the 2 queues at the same moment.
- The figures in my Single Rider and Extra Magic Time articles may differ.
- I count the days when it is no longer on sale 1 hr 30 min before closing time.
- If the ride often stops after that, the day doesn’t count.
Ride breakdowns
The uptime and breakdowns of each ride. I count as a breakdown any unplanned stop during public opening hours. Disney doesn’t give the cause.

Breakdowns at a glance

Every breakdown in the period, grouped by how long it lasted.
Most breakdowns lasted less than 30 minutes: 268 out of 479.
Planned closures are in my refurbishment calendar.
How I count breakdowns
Here’s how I count breakdowns, from the status displayed by Disney every 5 minutes.
- I record the status of each ride every 5 minutes.
- I count every unplanned stop during public opening hours, even one of 5 minutes.
- In the morning, a late opening only counts as a breakdown after 30 minutes.
- A ride displayed as closed is never counted as broken down.
- Only days with full readings and no construction work count.
- A ride open fewer than 8 days out of 10 is not ranked.
Attendance, year by year
