At a glance
Since July 24, 2026, Disney Adventure World has hosted the Disney Princess Cavalcade, a small parade. Four princesses take part, Rapunzel, Moana, Raya, and Tiana, each riding her own float alongside her sidekick. It makes its musical way around Adventure Bay several times a day, to two original songs performed in French. The standout moment is an interactive segment at the midpoint, when the princesses step down to dance and get the audience to copy them.
The interactive segment halfway through. The princesses step down from their floats: Moana teaches the crowd moves inspired by Pacific Island dances, Raya shows martial arts gestures, and everyone is invited to copy the choreography. That’s what really sets this cavalcade apart from an ordinary procession.

History
The cavalcade premiered on July 24, 2026, as Disney Adventure World kept ramping up. It replaces the Disney Marching Band with Minnie, which used to liven up Adventure Way. Four floats were built for it, set to an original soundtrack of two brand-new songs sung in French (a single is already out on streaming). Disney says it took 18 months to design and 287 hours of rehearsals.
Theme & world
Every float recreates the setting of one princess: Motunui for Moana, Heart’s palace for Raya, New Orleans streets for Tiana, and the Snuggly Duckling tavern for Rapunzel. Riding with them are their sidekicks, Pascal, Heihei and Pua, Tuk Tuk, and Ray the firefly. Starting out near the area that will soon be dedicated to The Lion King, the procession makes its way to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge before turning back to its starting point.
Who it’s made for
Pros and cons
The highlights
- A memorable original soundtrack, sung in French
- The interactive segment where the crowd dances with the princesses
- Four princesses you see less often elsewhere (Moana, Raya, Tiana, Rapunzel)
- Plenty of room to settle in along the route
- Several runs a day, all year long
- Some much-needed life for a part of the park where there’s still not much to do
The downsides
- An outdoor route: little shade in the sun, no cover when it rains
- In very hot weather, the dance segment may be shortened or dropped
- Floats I find a bit less elaborate than the ones in Disney Stars on Parade
- After you’ve picked your spot, switching to another one is tricky without blocking others
- In some spots, food kiosks block the view
My verdict
I loved the soundtrack, and it’s a real treat to see princesses like Moana or Tiana again, since you don’t run into them as often. The cavalcade finally brings some life to this still fairly empty corner of Adventure World. I find the floats a bit less elaborate than the ones in Disney Stars on Parade, and keep in mind this is a cavalcade, so it’s more modest than a full parade. But the moment when the princesses come down to dance with the crowd more than makes up for the rest, especially for kids.
The show up close

- Format Cavalcade with an interactive dance segment
Map & getting there
The cavalcade takes place at Disney Adventure World, along Adventure Way, on the shore of Adventure Bay lake. It’s a round trip: from a single spot, you see it go by in both directions, which makes it easier to find a good place.
Your questions about this show
01 What is the daytime parade at Disneyland Paris in 2026?
The daytime parade is called Disney Stars on Parade, and it takes place at Disneyland Park. A seasonal parade can be added to it (and sometimes replaces it) at Halloween and Christmas. I go over the best viewing spots in my dedicated article.
02 How do you meet Disney characters at Disneyland Paris?
There are four main ways to meet a character: in the park by waiting in a regular standby line, at dedicated spots with a virtual queue in the Disneyland Paris app, at a character meal (character dining), or at some official Disney hotels. If you can’t get a meet and greet, you’ll still see the characters in the parades and shows.
03 How far ahead should you stake out a spot for a parade or show?
Plan on 30 to 45 minutes when it’s quiet, and as much as 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes for the best spots when it’s busy. You’ll find details for each spot in my dedicated articles. If you buy paid access, just show up 10 to 30 minutes ahead.
04 Who are the Disney Princesses in the Disney Princess Cavalcade?
There are four: Rapunzel, Moana, Raya, and Tiana. Each one rides her own float, joined by her sidekick (Pascal, Heihei and Pua, Tuk Tuk, Ray).
05 Does the Disney Princess Cavalcade run every day?
Yes. You can catch it several times a day, year-round, at Disney Adventure World (along Adventure Way). On the day you go, look up the exact times in the app.
