At a glance
The Disney Princess Cavalcade is a small parade running at Disney Adventure World since 24 July 2026. It brings together four princesses, Rapunzel, Moana, Raya and Tiana, each on her own float with her sidekick. Several times a day, the cavalcade travels along Adventure Bay to music, with two original songs sung in French. What makes it stand out is an interactive moment halfway through: the princesses step down to dance and invite the crowd to copy them.
The interactive moment halfway through. The princesses step off their floats: Moana teaches the crowd steps inspired by Pacific Island dances, Raya some martial arts moves, and everyone is invited to copy the choreography. That’s what really sets this cavalcade apart from a simple procession.
Duration, crowds and access
- Arrive
- 15 min before
- Queue level low (plenty of space)
- All ages yes
History
The cavalcade was first performed on 24 July 2026, as part of the build-up of Disney Adventure World. It replaces the Disney Marching Band with Minnie, which used to liven up Adventure Way. Four floats were designed for it, set to an original soundtrack of two brand-new songs sung in French (a single is already available to stream). Disney says it took 18 months of design and 287 hours of rehearsals.
Theme & story
Each float recreates a princess’s world: Motunui for Moana, Heart Palace for Raya, the streets of New Orleans for Tiana and the Snuggly Duckling tavern for Rapunzel. Their sidekicks come along too: Pascal, Heihei and Pua, Tuk Tuk and Ray the firefly. The route starts near the future Lion King area, goes to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, then returns to where it began.
Who it’s for
Pros and cons
Strong points
- A memorable original soundtrack, sung in French
- The interactive moment when the crowd dances with the princesses
- Four princesses you see less often elsewhere (Moana, Raya, Tiana, Rapunzel)
- Plenty of room to settle along the route
- Several runs a day, all year round
- Welcome entertainment in an area of the park that still has little going on
Weak points
- An open-air route: little shade in the sun, no shelter if it rains
- In very hot weather, the dance moment may be shortened or cut
- Floats I find a little less elaborate than those of Disney Stars on Parade
- Once you’ve settled, it’s hard to move without getting in people’s way
- In places, food kiosks block the view
My verdict
I loved the soundtrack, and it’s really nice to see princesses like Moana or Tiana again, as you don’t come across them as often. The cavalcade finally brings some life to this still rather empty part of Adventure World. I find the floats a little less elaborate than those of Disney Stars on Parade, and keep in mind that it’s a cavalcade, more modest than a big parade. But the moment when the princesses step down to dance with the crowd more than makes up for it, especially for kids.
The show in detail

Map & getting there
The cavalcade takes place at Disney Adventure World, along Adventure Bay. It’s an out-and-back route: from the same spot, you see it go past in both directions, which makes finding a good spot easier.
Your questions about this show
01 What is the 2026 daytime parade at Disneyland Paris?
The daytime parade is called Disney Stars on Parade and takes place in Disneyland Park. It can be joined (and sometimes replaced) by a seasonal parade at Halloween and Christmas. I cover the best viewing spots in my dedicated article.
02 How do you meet the Disney characters at Disneyland Paris?
There are four main ways to meet a character: in the park with a standard queue, in dedicated areas with a virtual queue in the Disneyland Paris app, during a character meal (character dining) or in some official Disney hotels. If you can’t get a meet and greet, you’ll also see the characters in the parades and shows.
03 How early should you find a spot for a parade or show?
Allow 30 to 45 minutes at quiet times, and up to 1 hour to 1 hour 30 at busy times for the best spots. The details for each spot are in my dedicated articles. If you buy paid access, just turn up 10 to 30 minutes before.
04 Which Disney Princesses appear in the Disney Princess Cavalcade?
Four princesses: Rapunzel, Moana, Raya and Tiana, each on her own float with her sidekick (Pascal, Heihei and Pua, Tuk Tuk and Ray).
05 Does the Princess Cavalcade run every day?
Yes, it runs several times a day, all year round, at Disney Adventure World (along Adventure Way). Check the exact times in the app on the day of your visit.
