At a glance

A Million Splashes of Colour was the daytime show of the "Disney Symphony of Colours" season, performed from February 7 to September 6, 2026. It paid tribute to art, music, and writing through the Disney and Pixar worlds.

The staging mixed a mini parade with a stage performance. The themed floats, inspired by art, music, and writing, rolled from the park entrance along Main Street U.S.A. to Central Plaza, where a show-stop took place at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The floats were decked out with giant paintbrushes, oversized paint pots, splatters, and graphic nods to Disney and Pixar movies. During the show-stop, the characters climbed onto the stages to dance before the parade headed back to where it began. The three original floats echoed the pillars of Disney and Pixar storytelling (art, music, and writing), with hidden details such as labels subtly referencing Disney characters on the art float.

Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy wore bright, exclusive costumes with optical-illusion effects and paint splatters. They were joined by Stitch, Timon, Rapunzel, Belle, Snow White, Mirabel Madrigal, Miguel, Joy, Mrs. Incredible and Mr. Incredible, Asha, Judy Hopps, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Flash, and the Genie, along with professional dancers. The soundtrack was built on two original songs, including "The Future’s Starting Right Now," written especially for the show, and a medley of rearranged Disney and Pixar classics.

The show followed "Dreams… And Shine Brighter!," the show from the park’s 30th anniversary season, and this was its second run.

What sets it apart

The parade that left the street to take over the stages of Central Plaza. The floats came to a halt and the Disney heroes stepped onto platforms at the foot of the castle to dance facing the crowd. The finale featured a huge storybook float that opened up live in front of the audience.

History

The Main Street U.S.A. parade route has hosted plenty of seasonal parades. A Million Splashes of Colour carried on the tradition of temporary daytime shows built around themed seasons. First performed in 2024 for the Disney Symphony of Colours season, the show returned on February 7, 2026 for its second run. The original 2024 edition marked the Disneyland Paris debut of Mirabel Madrigal (Encanto).

Created by the Disney Live Entertainment teams, the show sent several modern floats around Central Plaza. It stood out for its bold, pop, color-packed look, a clear break from more traditional styles. The art direction blended classic and recent characters from Disney and Pixar animation.

Theme & world

Built around the Disney Symphony of Colours season, the parade explored three eras (past, present, and future) as a tribute to the arts (painting, movies, music, dance). During the show-stops, Mickey, Daisy, Goofy, and 30 characters and performers filled the stages in Central Plaza, dancing to "The Future’s Starting Right Now" and a mix of reworked Disney and Pixar tunes.

My verdict

I especially loved the infectious energy of this daytime show and seeing the characters spread across the different stages. That said, I found the music a bit too loud at times, and the various musical themes overlapped so much that they were sometimes hard to follow. None of that took away from the overall momentum, though, and it stayed a cheerful, colorful moment.

Map & getting there

You could catch the parade in Disneyland Park along Main Street U.S.A. and around Central Plaza, facing Sleeping Beauty Castle.

It set off from the park entrance, at the bottom of Main Street U.S.A., traveled up the street to Central Plaza, circled the plaza counterclockwise with a show-stop at the foot of the castle, then headed back toward the park entrance, finishing where it started.

A dedicated viewing area for guests with disabilities was available.

Your questions about this show

01 Are shows and parades included with your ticket?

Yes, all daytime shows, parades, and nighttime shows (Disney Tales of Magic and Disney Cascade of Lights) are included in the ticket price, in the free viewing areas. The only optional extras are the paid premium viewing spot (a reserved spot closer to the stage) and Guaranteed Access to a theater show, both sold in the Disneyland Paris app.

02 How far ahead should you stake out a spot for a parade or show?

Plan on 30 to 45 minutes when it’s quiet, and as much as 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes for the best spots when it’s busy. You’ll find details for each spot in my dedicated articles. If you buy paid access, just show up 10 to 30 minutes ahead.

03 How can you check the day’s schedule for shows and parades?

In the Disneyland Paris app (under Today in the Park) or on my blog. Showtimes change every day depending on the season and crowds, so I recommend checking that same morning.

04 Can shows and parades be canceled?

Yes. In bad weather (strong winds, thunderstorms, steady rain), nighttime shows can be canceled with no notice and no replacement. Parades sometimes are too. Check the status that day in the Disneyland Paris app.
