How to meet Minnie at Disneyland Paris

Where to catch Minnie for a photo, a hug, or an autograph, how to make sure she’s out that day, and the difference between a real meet and greet and simply seeing her pass by.

At Disneyland Paris, Minnie Mouse strikes a pose by the greenery, dressed in red with white dots and a bow to match.

To meet Minnie at Disneyland Paris, your best bet is her meet and greet spot in Disneyland Park, most often at Videopolis (Discoveryland). There, you’ll leave with a photo, and your kids can ask for a hug and an autograph.

She doesn’t greet guests there all day, every day, and the spot can move from one season to the next. So make a habit of checking the official Disneyland Paris app on the day of your visit to see where and when she’s appearing.

A common mix-up: meeting Minnie and spotting her aren’t the same thing. This guide covers three scenarios.

The meet and greet
actual one-on-one time with her (photo, hug, signature) at the spot where she welcomes guests.
A visit at your table
she makes the rounds of the dining room during a character meal (book ahead, paid option).
A glimpse from afar
she rolls by in the parade and you watch from the crowd, without a close-up picture.

Figure out which of these you want, and you won’t end up let down.

How and where can you meet Minnie at Disneyland Paris?

You’ll usually find Minnie greeting guests in Disneyland Park, near Videopolis in Discoveryland (and every so often close to Cowboy Cookout Barbecue, in Frontierland).

Her backdrop is a set of famous European sights (Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, Leaning Tower of Pisa), and a Disney PhotoPass photographer stands by to snap the moment. Plan on a quick visit together: long enough for a picture, a signature, and a hug for the little ones.

Heads-up so you aren’t surprised: on some days, the character at this spot isn’t Minnie. One of her pals may be there instead, frequently Daisy (and on occasion Clarice, the chipmunk).

In other words, you can’t count on her being there on a particular day. That’s why I suggest looking in the app before joining the line: it tells you which character is expected and when.

  • It’s free The meet and greet is included with your park ticket. You don’t pay anything extra for a photo or an autograph.
  • You wait in line on site You join the line and wait until it’s your turn. Minnie’s meet and greet doesn’t use the virtual queue (still, check that day’s status in the app).
  • The location can change Videopolis is the most common spot, but it can move after certain events. Confirm in the app.
  • Your photos on PhotoPass The photographer on site saves your pictures to your PhotoPass account, for you to collect later. You can also take photos with your own phone.

Since 2025, some character meet and greets run through a virtual queue: rather than waiting on site, you book a free time slot in the app. For now, Minnie isn’t one of them: her meet and greet still has a standby line, where you wait right there on the spot. Since the schedule changes, check that day’s status in the app. If you want to understand how the system works, I explain it in detail in my virtual queue guide.

Meeting Minnie at a restaurant

Another way to meet Minnie, more relaxed and without standing in line: book a character meal. Minnie shows up at some "Mickey and Friends" buffet meals, where the characters go from table to table. Be aware that not every character meal features her: some focus on the princesses, for example. Your kids get to see her come straight over to them for a photo and a hug while you eat.

These meals cost extra and have to be booked ahead of time: it’s a different option from the free meet and greet with a line.

These are the restaurants where Minnie may stop by your table:

Restaurant Characters
Plaza Gardens Restaurant Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Scrooge McDuck, Goofy, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Eeyore, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee Pinocchio, Geppetto, Chip ’n’ Dale
Royal Banquet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto

Places to eat with Minnie and her pals, kept up to date automatically.

Want the full rundown on these meals (what to expect, cost, reservations, which characters show up where)? It’s all in a character meal.

Seeing Minnie without meeting her

If all you want is to catch a glimpse of Minnie, you’ll see her in the Disneyland Park parade. She’s often on the opening float, alongside Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, and the rest of the gang. The parade runs from Fantasyland to Main Street U.S.A., by way of Central Plaza.

Just know that watching her roll past from the curb doesn’t count as meeting her. You won’t get a close-up picture, a hug, or her signature.

Depending on the season, Minnie can also be the star of her own show. Here again, it’s a performance where you watch her on stage, not a one-on-one moment, and it doesn’t always play in the same park. Since these shows run on specific seasonal dates, check the day’s schedule in the app to find out what’s on during your visit, and where.

Dig deeper

Minnie isn’t the only one greeting guests. To plan your meet and greets with the other characters (where to find them, how to check they’re there, standby line or virtual queue), browse all the character meet and greets. See also the virtual queue and character meals. You can also meet her at your Disney hotel if you’re staying on site.

Frequently asked questions

01 Where can you meet Minnie at Disneyland Paris?

In Disneyland Park, she usually greets guests at Videopolis (Discoveryland), where you can get a photo, a hug, and her autograph. Her spot may move with the seasons, so confirm it in the official app that day.

02 Is Minnie always with Mickey?

No. At her meet and greet location, Minnie tends to appear alongside her friends, often Daisy (and now and then Clarice, the chipmunk). Mickey greets guests at a separate spot of his own, and you may see the pair together at a character meal.

03 How do you find out when and where Minnie is meeting guests?

Open the official Disneyland Paris app on the day of your visit: it shows which character is scheduled, the location, and the times. Meet and greets can be changed or dropped without notice, so the app is the most reliable source.
