For raclette at Disneyland Paris, the main place to go is Hunter’s Grill, the all-you-can-eat buffet at Disney Sequoia Lodge. The cheese is scraped by one of the resort’s chefs (real cheese, not the factory kind) and served with potatoes and cured meats, in winter only. There’s also a quicker sandwich version, offered some winters at Le Rendez-vous Gourmand.
It’s a seasonal offer: only a few months a year. The rest of the year, there’s no raclette.
Where to eat raclette at Disneyland Paris
The place to go is Hunter’s Grill, the buffet restaurant at Disney Sequoia Lodge (the mountain-themed hotel on the shores of Lake Disney, a short walk from Disney Village). In winter, it serves all-you-can-eat raclette.
What I love here is that the cheese is real and scraped on the spot by one of the resort’s chefs, straight from the wheel onto your plate. You have it with potatoes and cured meats, as much as you like. It’s generous and filling, in a cosy atmosphere that suits the season.
Good news: you don’t need to stay at the hotel to enjoy it. Hunter’s Grill is open to everyone with a booking and the Disneyland Pass discount applies. To understand how it works at the Disney hotels, see my guide to eating at the Disney hotels and for the booking steps, my guide to booking a restaurant.

Watch out: it’s seasonal (winter only)
The raclette at Hunter’s Grill comes back every winter, usually around the start of winter, and only lasts a few months. The rest of the year, the restaurant is still a grill buffet, but without raclette.
The exact dates change from one year to the next and aren’t always announced far in advance. Before you book, I recommend checking that raclette is on the programme this winter. If your trip falls outside the season, don’t count on all-you-can-eat raclette.
A lighter version at Le Rendez-vous Gourmand?
If you just want a taste without settling in for a full buffet, some winters the festive food chalets (Le Rendez-vous Gourmand) offer raclette reinvented as a snack: a raclette sandwich with cured country ham, sometimes a tartiflette.
It’s the handy option if you’re less of a purist, on a tighter budget or want a quick bite without booking. Like the all-you-can-eat raclette, it’s seasonal and the chalets can move from one year to the next. All the details on these festivals are in my guide to the food festivals.
My tips
- Book ahead. Hunter’s Grill fills up fast in winter, especially around Christmas and New Year. Best to plan ahead.
- Come in winter. It’s the only time raclette is served. Out of season, you won’t find it.
- Accept the smell. It’s part of the experience, in the restaurant as well as in the lobby.
- Come hungry. It’s all you can eat: between the raclette, the potatoes and the cured meats, you might as well make the most of it.

Frequently asked questions
01 Do I need to book a restaurant in advance at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, for buffet restaurants and table-service restaurants, I strongly recommend it: tables go quickly, especially at weekends and in the school holidays. Quick-service restaurants and snack kiosks are walk-in, with no booking. Book as early as possible, up to 2 months ahead for a day visit and up to 1 year ahead if you’re staying at a Disney hotel.
