Christmas at Disneyland Paris looking back at 2023, 2024, and 2025

This article looks back at past Disneyland Paris Christmas seasons, one year at a time, starting with the most recent. You’ll find the dates, the program, the new additions, and what changed from one year to the next. For the big picture, see my complete Christmas guide. For this year’s edition, see the current program.

Every winter, Disneyland Paris dresses both of its parks up for the holidays. From one year to the next, a good part of the program repeats: the Christmas parade twice a day, the giant Town Square tree and its lighting, the Chantons Noël show at Videopolis, Santa Claus, and characters to meet in holiday outfits. That’s the core, and it stays steady.

The part that shifts is the list of additions. One year brings drones, the following year princesses, then Mrs. Claus shows up, then images are projected onto Main Street U.S.A. The Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve dinners get new menus and new prices each season too. Below, I go through the three latest editions, starting with the newest, so you can compare them or take a trip down memory lane.

I spent all three of those Christmases on site, so I also share how each one felt to me.

Christmas 2025

The 2025 Christmas season ran from November 8, 2025, to January 6, 2026. On the evening of December 31, the parks stayed open later, usually until 1:00 in the morning, and special menus were served on the evenings of December 24 and 31.

The core lineup was all there: light-up decorations across the park, the Christmas parade twice a day, the giant tree lighting, Chantons Noël at Videopolis, and characters to meet in holiday outfits.

The headline addition that year was a show featuring eight Disney princesses, along with several standout extras: a live choir during the tree lighting, projections on the building fronts of Main Street U.S.A., Belle greeting guests in her Christmas outfit in Fantasyland, and the first appearance of Mrs. Claus at Santa Claus’s side.

  • The parade "Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade!" ran twice a day. All the details in my Christmas parade article.
  • The shows Chantons Noël at Videopolis, plus "Princess Aurora’s Wishes" and "Holiday Reunion" starting November 15.
  • The new princess show "Disney Princesses Celebrate the Holidays" brought together Snow White, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Tiana, and Rapunzel, starting November 15.
  • The tree and the projections The giant tree lighting came with a live choir, several times each evening, plus brand-new projections on the building fronts of Main Street U.S.A. See my Christmas decorations.
  • Meet and greets You could spot Belle dressed for Christmas in Fantasyland, plus Stitch and Goofy in costume. Mrs. Claus also appeared for the first time next to Santa Claus, in a happening with a selfie spot every 45 minutes.
  • Snow and food Several times a day, snow drifted down over Main Street U.S.A., and both parks welcomed back the L’Hiver Gourmand chalets.

Christmas 2025 menus and food

On the treats side, the 2025 edition offered seasonal products, snacks, and menus, with the L’Hiver Gourmand chalets back in both parks. On the evenings of December 24 and 31, several restaurants served menus created for the occasion (see my December 24 Christmas Eve article and my New Year’s Eve article).

The price list for the holiday dinners changes every season, so I don’t lock it in here for 2025. For ballpark figures from back then (no longer valid), check the 2023 section below, which lists the documented prices for December 24 and 31. For up-to-date prices, rely on the current program page.

Christmas 2024

Running from November 9, 2024, through January 6, 2025, the 2024 season kept the "Disney Enchanted Christmas" name Disney had been using for several years. And like every year, the evenings of December 24 and 31 came with special menus.

The core stayed the same: light-up decorations, the giant tree on Main Street U.S.A. with its lighting several times a day, Chantons Noël at Videopolis (with a new guest that year), the Christmas parade twice a day, and characters dressed for Christmas to meet all over the park.

The standout addition that year was the Disney Electrical Sky Parade, the drone show, in a special holiday version to close out the day.

  • The parade Mickey’s holiday parade came by twice daily, once in daylight without its lights and once after dark. You’ll find more in my Christmas parade article.
  • The drone show The big 2024 addition: a Christmas edition of the Disney Electrical Sky Parade closed out each day. The drones were gone the next year.
  • The tree and Chantons Noël The giant tree glowed to life several times daily, and over at Videopolis, Chantons Noël starred Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and a newcomer. More in my Christmas decorations.
  • Meet and greets Mickey and his friends in Town Square, Aurora and Prince Phillip in the Castle Courtyard, the Disney Princesses on Central Plaza, plus Stitch and Goofy dressed for Christmas.
  • Santa Claus On hand to meet guests, as he is every year. All the details in my Christmas guide.
  • The Disneyland Hotel exclusive The show "The Keeper of Time and the Light of Winter," a Christmas collection at the Royal Collection Boutique, and seasonal specialties at Royal Banquet and Fleur de Lys Bar.

Christmas 2024 menus and food

In 2024, you could find Christmas merchandise in the park stores and seasonal treats at the snack spots, restaurants, and bars in both the park and the hotels. Some restaurants offered a special meal on the evenings of December 24 and 31.

The 2024 holiday dinner prices were never reliably documented, so I don’t quote any fixed price for that edition. Just know that, as in other years, the December 24 and 31 menus cost more than during the rest of the season, with festive dishes (salmon, oysters, sometimes champagne). For ballpark figures, check the 2023 section below (prices at the time, no longer valid).

Christmas 2023

The 2023 Christmas season ran from November 11, 2023, to January 7, 2024, already under the name "Disney Enchanted Christmas": Disney keeps this season name for several years in a row. It was the most low-key of the three editions in terms of new additions. There was no big new show to remember, but you got the full core lineup and gorgeous decorations.

On the program: the parade "Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade!", running several times a day in both daylight and darkness, the giant Town Square tree with its lighting every evening at dusk, the Chantons Noël show at Videopolis with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy, Aurora’s winter wishes show at the Castle, and Santa Claus, around through December 25.

Characters to meet in Christmas outfits and the string lights on Main Street U.S.A. rounded things out. For seasonal food, the L’Hiver Gourmand chalets were set up.

  • The parade "Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade!", several times a day, in daylight and after dark. All the details in my Christmas parade article.
  • The shows Over at Videopolis, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy starred in Chantons Noël, and Aurora had her own winter wishes show at the Castle.
  • The giant tree Town Square had its giant tree, lit up in a ceremony each night as the sun went down. More in my Christmas decorations.
  • Santa Claus and meet and greets Santa Claus around through December 25, plus Disney characters in Christmas outfits. The full picture in my Christmas guide.
  • The decorations String lights on Main Street U.S.A. and winter decor all over the park, the highlight of that edition.
  • The holiday food market The L’Hiver Gourmand chalets were set up for the season.

Christmas 2023 menus and food

On December 24, a number of restaurants put together a special dinner menu, just like every year. The 2023 prices happen to be documented (they’re from back then and no longer apply), so I’ve gathered them in the table below. At the hotel restaurants, a December 24 menu cost between €65 and €100 per adult.

On the evening of December 31, other restaurants served New Year’s Eve menus, generally pricier (for table service in the park, expect around €130 to €150 per adult, and at the hotels, up to €250 per adult at La Table de Lumière).

These prices are historical and only a rough guide: they no longer apply, and the menus change every season. December 24 details are in my December 24 Christmas Eve article, and December 31 details in my New Year’s Eve article.

RestaurantsAdult priceChild price
Auberge de Cendrillon and Plaza Gardens Restaurant€150€70

What changed from one edition to the next

Across these three years, the core barely moves: the Christmas parade twice a day, the giant tree and its lighting, Chantons Noël at Videopolis, Santa Claus through December 25, and characters to meet in holiday outfits come back every edition. That’s what makes the season so recognizable year after year.

The new additions are what set each edition apart, and they come and go. The 2024 drone show (the Christmas version of the Disney Electrical Sky Parade) didn’t return in 2025. It was replaced by an eight-princess show, projections on Main Street, and the first appearance of Mrs. Claus. 2023 was the most low-key edition in terms of program, carried mostly by its decorations.

The Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve menus and their prices change every season: the prices mentioned here are historical and only worth using as a reference point. For the current edition, always check this year’s program page.
