Every winter, Disneyland Paris dresses both its parks in festive colours. From one year to the next, a good part of the programme repeats: the Christmas parade twice a day, the giant tree in Town Square and its lighting, the Chantons Noël show at Videopolis, Santa Claus and character meet and greets in festive outfits. That’s the core, and it’s stable.

What changes are the new additions: a drone show one year, a princess show the next, the arrival of Mrs. Claus, the projections on Main Street U.S.A. The Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve menus and their prices change too, reviewed every season. This article covers the last three editions, from the most recent to the oldest, to compare and look back.

I spent all three of these Christmases at the park, so I also share how I felt about each one.

Christmas 2025

The 2025 Christmas season ran from 8 November 2025 to 6 January 2026. On the evening of 31 December, the parks had extended opening hours, usually until 1:00, and special menus were served on the evenings of 24 and 31 December.

The core was all there: light-up decorations throughout the park, the Christmas parade twice a day, the giant tree lighting, Chantons Noël at Videopolis and character meet and greets in festive outfits.

The big new feature of the edition was a show bringing together eight Disney princesses, along with several memorable additions: a live choir during the tree lighting, projections on the facades of Main Street U.S.A., Belle welcoming visitors in her Christmas outfit in Fantasyland and the first appearance of Mrs. Claus alongside Santa Claus.

  • The parade "Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade!" ran twice a day. Details in my article on the Christmas parade.
  • The shows Chantons Noël at Videopolis, plus a Princess Aurora wishes show and a festive reunion show from 15 November.
  • The princess show A festive celebration show with the Disney Princesses brought together Snow White, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Tiana and Rapunzel, from 15 November.
  • The tree and the projections The giant tree lighting with a live choir, several times each evening, plus brand-new projections on the facades of Main Street U.S.A. See my Christmas decorations guide.
  • Meet and greets Belle in her Christmas outfit in Fantasyland, Stitch and Goofy in costume, and the first appearance of Mrs. Claus alongside Santa Claus with a short show and a selfie spot every 45 minutes.
  • Snow and food Snow fell on Main Street U.S.A. several times a day, and the L’Hiver Gourmand chalets returned in both parks.

Christmas 2025 menus and food

On the food side, the 2025 edition offered seasonal products, snacks and menus, with the return of the L’Hiver Gourmand chalets in both parks. On the evenings of 24 and 31 December, several restaurants served menus created for the occasion (see my article on Christmas Eve on 24 December and my article on New Year’s Eve).

The Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve prices are reviewed every season, so I don’t set them in stone here for 2025. For a rough idea of prices at the time (no longer valid), see the 2023 section below, which details the documented prices for 24 and 31 December. For up-to-date prices, rely on the current programme page.

Christmas 2024

The 2024 Christmas season started on 9 November 2024 and ran until 6 January 2025, still under the name "Disney Enchanted Christmas", used several years in a row. As every year, special set menus were served on the evenings of 24 and 31 December.

The core stayed the same: light decorations, the big Christmas tree on Main Street U.S.A. lit up several times a day, Chantons Noël at Videopolis (with a new guest that year), the Christmas parade twice a day and Christmas-themed character meets all over the park.

The standout new feature of that edition was the Disney Electrical Sky Parade, the drone show, presented in a festive version to close the day.

  • The parade Mickey’s Christmas Parade ran twice a day: a daytime version without the lights and a night-time version. Full details in my article on the Christmas parade.
  • The drone show New for 2024: the Disney Electrical Sky Parade had a special Christmas version to end the day. This drone show wasn’t brought back the following year.
  • The tree and Chantons Noël The big tree lit up several times a day, and Chantons Noël at Videopolis with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and a new guest. See my Christmas decorations.
  • Character meets Mickey and friends at Town Square, Aurora and Prince Phillip in the Castle Courtyard, the Disney Princesses on Central Plaza, plus Stitch or Goofy dressed for Christmas.
  • Santa Claus There to meet visitors, as every year. Full details in my Christmas guide.
  • The Disneyland Hotel exclusive The Keeper of Time and Winter Light show, a Christmas collection at the Royal Collection Boutique and specialities at the Royal Banquet and the Fleur de Lys Bar.

Christmas 2024 menus and food

In 2024, Christmas products were sold in the park shops and seasonal treats in the snack bars, restaurants and bars of both the park and the hotels. A special meal was offered in some restaurants on the evenings of 24 and 31 December.

The 2024 Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve prices weren’t reliably documented, so I don’t quote a fixed price for this edition. Just know that, as in other years, the 24 and 31 December menus cost more than the rest of the season, with festive dishes (salmon, oysters, sometimes champagne). For a rough idea, see the 2023 section below (prices at the time, no longer valid).

Christmas 2023

The 2023 Christmas season ran from 11 November 2023 to 7 January 2024, already under the name "Disney Enchanted Christmas": Disney reuses this season name several years in a row. It was the most low-key of the three editions in terms of new features: no big new show to remember, but a complete core and lovely decorations.

On the programme, you’d find "Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade!", several times a day, by day and by night, the giant tree in Town Square and its lighting every evening at dusk, the Chantons Noël show at Videopolis with Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Daisy, and Goofy, Aurora’s winter wishes show at the Castle and Santa Claus, there until 25 December inclusive.

Character meet and greets in Christmas outfits and the strings of lights on Main Street U.S.A. completed the picture. For festive food, the L’Hiver Gourmand chalets were set up.

  • The parade "Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade!", several times a day, by day and by night. Details in my article on the Christmas parade.
  • The shows Chantons Noël at Videopolis with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy, plus Aurora’s winter wishes show at the Castle.
  • The giant tree A giant tree in Town Square, with a lighting ceremony every evening at dusk. See my Christmas decorations guide.
  • Santa Claus and meet and greets Santa Claus there until 25 December inclusive, and Disney characters in Christmas outfits. The bigger picture in my Christmas guide.
  • The decorations Strings of lights on Main Street U.S.A. and winter decor throughout the park, the highlight of the edition.
  • The festive food market The L’Hiver Gourmand chalets were set up for the season.

Christmas 2023 menus and food

As every year, several restaurants offered a special menu on the evening of 24 December. For the 2023 edition, these prices were documented (prices at the time, no longer valid), and I sum them up in the table below. At the hotels, the 24 December menus ranged from €65 to €100 per adult depending on the restaurant.

On the evening of 31 December, other restaurants served New Year’s Eve menus, usually pricier (for a table-service meal in the park, allow around €130 to €150 per adult, and at the hotels, up to €250 per adult at La Table de Lumière).

These prices are historical, given as a guide only: they no longer apply and the menus change every season. Details for 24 December are in my article on Christmas Eve on 24 December, and for 31 December in my article on New Year’s Eve.

RestaurantsAdult priceChild price
Auberge de Cendrillon and Plaza Gardens Restaurant€150€70

Silver Spur Steakhouse and Agrabah Café€65€30

What changed from one edition to the next

Over these three years, the core barely changes: the Christmas parade twice a day, the big tree and its lighting, Chantons Noël at Videopolis, Santa Claus until 25 December and the character meets in festive outfits come back every edition. That’s what makes the season recognisable from one year to the next.

It’s the new features that make the difference, and they come and go. The 2024 drone show (the Christmas version of the Disney Electrical Sky Parade) wasn’t brought back in 2025. It was replaced by a show with eight princesses, projections on Main Street and the first appearance of Mrs. Claus. 2023 was the most low-key edition in terms of programme, carried mainly by its decorations.

The Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve set menus and their prices, on the other hand, change every season: the prices quoted here are historical and only serve as a guide. For the current edition, always check this year’s programme page.
