What payment methods does Disneyland Paris accept?
Good news: Disneyland Paris takes nearly every common way to pay, in the parks as well as in the hotels, stores, and restaurants. Here’s the full list.
- Credit and debit cards Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- Contactless and mobile payment Including Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Cash In euros, except at self-service payment machines.
- ANCV vacation vouchers For many purchases.
- Meal vouchers (titres restaurant) Accepted in the hotels and at Disney Village, but not inside the parks.
- Disney gift cards In certain forms, see below.
Cards and mobile payment
Paying by card is still the simplest route, since every part of the resort takes Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. You can also tap to pay, or use Apple Pay and Google Pay on your phone or smartwatch. Got a Visa Premier or comparable card? Check out the perks it gives you at Disneyland Paris.
Paying with cash
Cash in euros is accepted almost everywhere. It’s handy for sticking to a budget, or for kids who want to pay for their own souvenir. Still, keep a backup way to pay for bigger amounts, and for the self-service payment machines (the PhotoPass service, parking, and some park restaurants), which only take cards.
Vacation vouchers and meal vouchers
Your ANCV vacation vouchers can cut down what you spend, since lots of purchases qualify, and your meal vouchers cover food once you’re outside the parks. That’s two handy ways to fund part of the trip while leaving your own budget untouched.
Disney gift cards
Want to give Disneyland Paris as a gift? There are several options, from physical gift cards to online solutions.
- The e-gift card Sold on partner websites, it lets you chip in toward a ticket or a vacation you want to give someone.
- Physical gift cards Real gift cards: you load them with €5 to €200 at certain stores in Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, as well as at World of Disney (Disney Village), but you can’t reload them afterward. Cast Members sometimes hand them out, too. You can spend them in the stores and restaurants of both parks and at World of Disney. You can also use them on site to pay for a Disneyland Pass or a Disneyland Pass Night ticket. At the ticket windows, they also let you buy a same-day ticket, if there’s still room, often at a higher price than online.
- Giveaways In some stores or lines, QR code games give you a chance to win one.
Paying for your vacation in installments
For a vacation package, you don’t have to pay everything at once. Paying in installments lets you spread the cost over several payments. I go over the terms in the dedicated article.
