Which payment methods are accepted at Disneyland Paris?

Good news: Disneyland Paris accepts almost every common payment method, in the parks as well as in the hotels, shops and restaurants. Here’s the full list.

  • Bank cards Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
  • Contactless and mobile payment Apple Pay and Google Pay included.
  • Cash In euros, except at payment machines.
  • ANCV holiday vouchers For many purchases.
  • Meal vouchers At Disney Village and in the hotels, not in the parks.
  • Disney gift cards In certain forms, see below.

Bank cards and mobile payment

A bank card is still the easiest option: Visa, Mastercard and American Express are accepted everywhere in the resort. Contactless works too, as do Apple Pay and Google Pay from your phone or watch. If you pay with a Visa Premier card or similar, have a look at its perks at Disneyland Paris.

Paying in cash

Cash in euros is accepted almost everywhere. Handy for keeping control of a budget, or for kids who want to pay for their own souvenir. Still, keep another way to pay as a back-up for larger amounts, and for payment machines (the PhotoPass service, the car park and some restaurants in the parks) that only take cards.

Holiday vouchers and meal vouchers

You can lighten the bill with your ANCV holiday vouchers, accepted for many purchases, and your meal vouchers for meals outside the parks. Two good ways to pay for part of your visit without dipping into your budget.

Disney gift cards

Want to give Disneyland Paris as a gift? There are several options, from a physical gift card to online solutions.

  • The e-gift card Sold on partner websites, it lets you contribute towards a ticket or a holiday you want to give as a gift.
  • Physical gift cards Real gift cards: you load them with €5 to €200 in certain shops in Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, as well as at World of Disney (Disney Village), but they can’t be topped up afterwards. Cast Members sometimes hand them out too. You can spend them in the shops and restaurants of both parks and at World of Disney. You can also use them to pay on site for a Disneyland Pass or a Disneyland Pass Night ticket. At the ticket offices, they also let you buy a ticket for the same day, if there’s space left, often at a higher price than online.
  • Prize games In some shops or queues, QR code games give you the chance to win one.

Paying for your holiday in instalments

For a holiday, you don’t have to pay everything in one go. Paying in instalments lets you spread the cost over several payments. I go through the conditions in that article.

Frequently asked questions

01 Can I pay in cash at Disneyland Paris?

Yes, cash in euros is accepted almost everywhere in the resort: parks, hotels, shops and restaurants. The payment machines (the PhotoPass service, the car park and some restaurants in the parks), however, only take bank cards.

02 Are Apple Pay and contactless payment accepted at Disneyland Paris?

Yes. Contactless payment works, as do Apple Pay and Google Pay from your phone or smartwatch.

03 Is there a Disneyland Paris gift card?

Yes. There’s a physical gift card, loaded with €5 to €200 in some shops in Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, as well as at World of Disney (Disney Village). It can’t be topped up afterwards. Cast Members sometimes give them out too. There’s also an e-gift card (on partner websites) to contribute towards a ticket or a holiday as a gift.

04 Where can I use a Disneyland Paris gift card?

At the ticket office, it also lets you buy a ticket for the same day, but only if there is still room and often at a higher price than online: I wouldn’t count on it.

05 Is the Disneyland Paris gift card refundable?

No, the amounts loaded onto it are not refundable. If it is lost, stolen or damaged, it is neither replaced nor refunded.
