Yes, Disneyland Paris really does sell a discounted ticket for military members. It’s open to service members who are active duty or retired and who show a military ID card issued by France, the UK, or the US. The discount depends on the date, it applies to the 2-park ticket, and the price is valid for up to 5 people.
Let me clear something up first: nobody gets in for free with this ticket, and it doesn’t cut the price in half. Think of it as a special ticket priced like any other park ticket, with a reduction stacked on that base price. Below, I cover who’s eligible, what kind of savings to expect, and how to order it correctly.
To compare this ticket with every other option (1 park, multiple days, dates), see the full comparison: my tickets guide.
The military ticket at Disneyland Paris
The military ticket is a special ticket set aside for members of the armed forces. It’s a 2-park ticket that gets you into both parks (Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) for less than the regular price. You pick the length (1 day or several): the only requirement is choosing a 2-park option.
Once you’ve bought it, it works just like a standard 2-park ticket: same access, and you can go back and forth between the parks. The only differences come when you buy it (the discounted price) and at the entrance (showing your military ID card). For everything a ticket covers, see what the ticket includes.
What price and discount do military members get?
The military price is not a fixed rate. The park uses dynamic pricing, so a ticket costs more or less depending on the date (quiet days or busy days). The military discount comes off that moving price. As a result, what you actually save varies from one date to the next.
Disneyland Paris does not publish this percentage officially. Based on what I’ve seen and the feedback I cross-check, the discount often lands around 10 to 25% off the regular price, with no guarantee at all. It’s usually more worthwhile on crowded days (weekends, French public holidays, French school vacation), because that’s when the full price climbs the most.
The only reliable way to know the gap is to compare, for the same date, the military price and the full price when you book.
I don’t list any euro amounts here, because prices change all the time. To get a sense of the price range, see my price guide.
Who qualifies and how
- Be active-duty or retired military The price is meant for serving members and retirees alike. The cardholder has to be there on the day of the visit.
- Carry a valid ID card from the French, UK, or US military The card must be current and come from the armed forces of France, Britain, or the United States. Cards from any other country won’t qualify.
- Bring that card to the park Staff check it at the gates. If you can’t produce it, the reduced price won’t be honored.
- Come as a group of 5 people max One service member and up to 4 other people, 5 in all. Your companions can be civilians.
- Pick a 2-park option The military price only applies to tickets that get you into both parks (you choose the length, 1 day or more). There’s no military option for just 1 park.
How do you buy the military ticket?
Open the special prices page
You buy it online, on the official Disneyland Paris website: go to the tickets section, then the "Special prices" tab. What I don’t recommend is waiting until you reach the ticket booths at the entrance: you can only buy there if you pay in cash, with ANCV vacation vouchers, or with a gift card and there’s still space that day, and the standard price applies, which is often higher than online.
Show the military ticket prices
In the "Military" section, click "See prices". The price applies to tickets for both parks, when you show a French, British, or American military ID card.
Select your date on the calendar
Your ticket is tied to a specific day, so pick when you’ll visit. Prices shift from one period to another, which makes booking early a smart move. Each price on the calendar is for a single adult aged 12 or older.
Enter the number of guests
Enter the number of adults (12 and up) and kids (3 to 11). Kids under 3 get in free. The military price is capped at 5 people in total, including you.
Fill in the guest details
Type in the first and last name of each person, plus the kids’ dates of birth: these are used to confirm they’re under 12 on the day of the visit.
Check the summary and pay
Right before confirming, put the military price side by side with the lowest standard ticket for that same day: it’s the only way to measure your real savings. You can pull up your tickets on your smartphone anytime, and cancellation is free until three days ahead of your visit.

Is the deal worth it?
A good fit if
- You want to visit both parks
- Your French, UK, or US military card is still valid
- There are 5 of you or fewer
- Your dates fall on a weekend or during French school vacation (on those busy days, the savings over full price tend to be larger, though you still pay more overall)
Compare first if
- A single park for a single day is all you need
- Your group is bigger than 5 (anyone extra pays the regular price)
- Your date is a quiet one (the full price is already low, so the gap shrinks)
Beyond 5 people, any extra guests buy regular tickets. To decide between the military ticket and another option, the full comparison will help you choose: my tickets guide.
My advice
Frequently asked questions
01 What’s the military discount at Disneyland Paris?
It isn’t a fixed rate. The discount varies by date, since ticket prices follow the park’s pricing. Disneyland Paris doesn’t officially publish the percentage. Based on cross-checked reports, it’s often around 10 to 25% off the full price, with no guaranteed rate, and it tends to be more worthwhile on busy days (weekends, French public holidays, French school breaks). The only reliable way to know the difference is to compare the military price with the full price for the same date.
02 Do military members get in free or at 50% off at Disneyland Paris?
No. In 2026, military tickets are neither half price nor free. That 50% number is a leftover from an old promotion that outdated articles keep repeating. What actually exists today is a discount on the 2-park ticket that moves with the date (often in the 10 to 25% range, with no guaranteed rate).
03 Which military IDs are accepted?
You need a valid military ID card from the French, British, or US government (France, the UK, the US). These three are the only nationalities accepted, so a member of another country’s armed forces can’t use their own national card to get the rate.
04 How many people can get the military rate?
The military rate covers up to 5 people, the service member included (you + 4 companions). Your companions don’t need to be in the military themselves. Beyond 5 people, any extra tickets are at the regular price.
05 Is the military rate available for 1 park only?
No. The military rate is limited to 2-park tickets (you choose how many days, from 1 up). There’s no single-park military version. If you only plan to visit one park on a given day, check the price of a standard 1-day 1-park ticket, which could end up cheaper.
06 Where can you buy the Disneyland Paris military ticket?
Online, on the official Disneyland Paris website, in the special tickets section. At the entrance ticket booths, you can only buy one if you pay in cash, with vacation vouchers, or with a gift card, and there’s still room that day. I wouldn’t count on it, because the park can be full, and the standard price applies there, which is often higher than online. For a step-by-step walkthrough of the purchase, see the ticket-buying tutorial.
