Yes, Disneyland Paris really does offer a discounted ticket for the military. It’s for serving or retired personnel, on presentation of a military ID card issued by France, the UK or the US. The discount varies by date, it applies to the 2-park ticket, and the price is valid for 5 people maximum.

Let me clear up one important point straight away: this ticket isn’t free, and it isn’t a fixed half-price discount either. It’s a special ticket whose price follows the park’s pricing, with a discount applied on top. On this page, I explain who is eligible, how much you can save and how to buy it without making a mistake.

To compare this ticket with all the other options (1 park, several days, dates), see the full comparison: the ticket guide.

The Disneyland Paris military ticket

The military ticket is a special ticket reserved for members of the armed forces. It’s a 2-park ticket, giving access to both parks (Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World, formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) at a better price than the full price. You choose the length (1 day or more): the only condition is to pick a 2-park ticket.

Once bought, it works like a standard 2-park ticket: same access and the freedom to move between the parks. The only difference is when you buy it (the discounted price) and at the entrance (showing your military ID card). For the details of what a ticket includes, see what’s included in the ticket.

What price and discount do military personnel get?

The military price is not a fixed rate. The park uses dynamic pricing: the price of a ticket changes with the date (quiet days or busy days). The military discount is applied on top of this moving price. As a result, the real saving varies from one date to another.

Disneyland Paris does not officially publish this percentage. From what I’ve seen and the feedback I cross-check, the discount is often around 10 to 25% compared with the normal price, with no guarantee at all. It’s usually more worthwhile on busy days (weekends, French bank holidays, French school holidays), because that’s when the full price climbs the most.

The only reliable way to know the difference is to compare the military price and the full price for the same date when you book.

I don’t give an amount in euros here, because prices change all the time. To get an idea of the price range, see the price guide.

The conditions to qualify

  • Be serving or retired military personnel The price is aimed at serving personnel as well as retired personnel. The cardholder must be there on the day of the visit.
  • Hold a French, UK or US military card A valid military ID card issued by the French, British or American government. No other nationality is accepted.
  • Show the card on the day of your visit The card is checked at the park entrance. Without it, you won’t get the discounted price.
  • Come as a group of 5 people maximum The service member plus 4 companions, so 5 people in total. Companions don’t have to be military.
  • Choose a 2-park ticket The military price only applies to tickets giving access to both parks (you choose the length, 1 day or more). There’s no military option for 1 park only.

How to buy the military ticket

Step 1

Open the special prices page

You buy it online, on the official Disneyland Paris website. Open the ticket section, then the "Special Rates" tab. You can also book by phone, on the usual ticket line. I don’t recommend waiting until you get to the ticket booths at the entrance, though: buying on the spot is only possible if you pay in cash, with ANCV holiday vouchers or with a gift card and there are still places left that day, and the standard price applies there, often higher than online.

Step 2

Show the military ticket prices

In the "Military" box, click "See prices". The price applies to tickets giving access to both parks, on presentation of a French, British or American military ID card.

Step 3

Pick your date on the calendar

The ticket is dated: choose the date of your visit. The price changes with the period, so it’s best to plan ahead. The amounts shown on the calendar are for an adult aged 12 and over.

Step 4

Enter the number of visitors

Enter the number of adults (12 and over) and children (3 to 11). Under-3s get in free. The military price is limited to 5 people in total, including you.

Step 5

Fill in the guests’ details

Enter the first name and surname of each guest, as well as the children’s dates of birth: these are used to check they’re under 12 on the day of the visit.

Step 6

Check the summary and pay

Before confirming, compare the military price with the cheapest standard ticket for the same date: it’s the only way to see the real saving. Your tickets stay available on your smartphone, and you can cancel the booking free of charge up to three days before your visit.

Is the offer worth it?

Worth it for you if

  • You want to visit both parks
  • You have a valid French, UK or US military card
  • You’re coming as a group of 5 or fewer
  • You’re aiming for a weekend or the French school holidays (the gap with the full price is often bigger on those days, even if the price you pay is still higher)

Compare first if

  • You only want to do one park in a day
  • There are more than 5 of you (the others pay full price)
  • Your chosen date is quiet (the full price is already low, so the gap shrinks)

If there are more than 5 of you, the extra visitors buy standard tickets. To decide between the military ticket and another option, the full comparison will help you choose: the ticket guide.

Frequently asked questions

01 What military discount is there at Disneyland Paris?

The discount isn’t a fixed rate. It varies with the date, because ticket prices follow the park’s pricing. Disneyland Paris doesn’t publish this percentage officially. From cross-checked feedback, it’s often around 10 to 25% off the full price, with no guaranteed rate, and it’s often better value on busy days (weekends, French bank holidays, French school holidays). The only reliable way to know the difference is to compare the military price and the full price for the same date.

02 Is the Disneyland Paris military ticket 50% off or free?

No. There’s no half-price or free military ticket in 2026. The 50% figure comes from an old offer that old articles still repeat. The reality today is a variable discount (often around 10 to 25% depending on the date, with no guaranteed rate), on the 2-park ticket.

03 Which military ID cards are accepted?

A valid military ID card issued by the French, British or American government (France, the UK, the US). These are the only three nationalities accepted. A member of another country’s armed forces can’t get the discount with their national card.

04 How many people can get the military price?

The military price applies to 5 people at most, including the service member (you + 4 companions). Your companions don’t have to be in the military. Beyond 5 people, extra tickets are at the standard price.

05 Is there a military price for just 1 park?

No. The military price only applies to 2-park tickets (the length, 1 day or more, is up to you). There’s no military option for a single park. If you’re only visiting one park on one day, compare with a standard 1-day 1-park ticket, which can work out cheaper.

06 Where can I buy the Disneyland Paris military ticket?

Online on the official Disneyland Paris website (in the section for special tickets) or by phone from the ticket office. At the entrance ticket desks, you can only buy one if you pay in cash, with holiday vouchers or by gift card and there’s still space that day. I wouldn’t count on it, because the park can be full and it’s the standard price that applies there, often higher than online. If you’d like a step-by-step guide to buying, see the buying tutorial.
